That play through is like my vlandia play through. I was given 4 cities and maybe 8 castles when I deleted Battania out of existence. I was given the entire kingdom well before the time you're little brother is available in campaign. I still dk what the he'll happened to derpherp. I'm guessing he was castrated. I never cared to look.

the reason the cataphracts and banner knights are better actually happen to be the quality of equipment. cataphracts have a courser lance which is incredibly long so they win in the charge against both. if they didnt give the banner knights a heavy knights lance and instead gave them the generic light lance which is longer it would be different.
Very good point. Would be cool to see the battle with the same lances.
isnt it the vlandians that have the longest couchable lance though? iirk the cataphracts cant couch at all either
@@jackofastora8962 cataphracts have a two handed couchable lance thats super long vlandians do have the longest one handed but they stop using it after the gallant
Cataphracts are the best purely on horse back, Druzhinik however are just as or more effective on foot as on horse.
It is rather interesting, statistically speaking the champion should be winning the fight against the cataphracts and knights, and in detailed testing theyre ranked #2 behind the aserai vanguard. The primary issue, in my humble opinion, stems from the technically worse equipment and the seemingly worse allied AI. Its possible that taleworld made it intentional, as a nod to the fact that the nords are the absolute infantry powerhouse; Which the champion very easily claims the title of when given the dismount command. Its just an odd thing I noticed when it comes to testing any unit really, that they seem to either do wildly better or wildly worse than they would perform in an actual battle
