- Our friends at Wichita Material Recovery offered to let us use their monster lifted Ford F-350 if we fixed the leaky hydroboost on the brakes. The parts were sitting there with so I said of course we'll fix it. What could be cooler than driving around a 1 ton truck that's taller than most semi-trucks? The 6.0L Powerstroke has been bulletproofed, it has a 10" custom built lift, 3" body lift, 53" tires on 20" Rockstars, and a complete sound system.

I’m not sure that the truck is 50 state legal. Other states have laws for the height of the bumper.
Virginia goes by the bumper height and tires cant stick out of fenders more than an inch
I believe some states have limits on how high the frame can be raised, but not certain...

@@bingalz1 need mudflaps on a regular truck. This thing would need fender flares too but there is a limit to how much you can raise a trucks frame and I bet this is over that..
Actually in california they dont bother with lifted truck or trucks in general its only emissions and those 1000hp hondas and imports they are worried about everyrhing slides

I had so many questions after the first vid, was going to comment about it but I said to myself, "Jr knows what's up, he's got it", and a few days Later, walla, and a new vid was up with a complete walk around, inspection, toy info, legality info, and basically everything else we needed to know.

You only have to look at Drag Week to understand that the concept of what is and what is not legal varies greatly state to state. In some states, you can take a tube frame Promod race car, slap in headlights, tail lights, and turn signals, and get it plated. This truck is certainly legal somewhere, but I would be hesitant to drive it out of the state it's registered in.

There is a 2018 f-450 with a 12 inch lift in my city and it’s quite crazy. It I wrapped a colorshift green-orange-yellow color and it rolls coal. And the best part is the driver is a woman that is about 5’1

Ha, Gabe has the same situation with kids that I do! Kids at three schools. Except I have three in the middle school right now. Next year will be even more fun. My youngest switches to the new intermediate school. One still in middle school. Two going in to high school and my oldest off to college.

It's not 50 state legal. This truck is not legal in the state of PA to be on the road, unless it's registered as a custom or hot rod. The bumpers are to high. The tires are to wide and sticking out past the fenders. It's a cool truck but it's riding the line of being "legal" .
If it is legal in your home state i believe you can drive in on all Federal funded roads. I will have to ask a lawyer. You may not be able to register it in PA.

Washington state would call this off road only. Sad thing is that vehicle is illegal to be on the road, and that means in any accident, even if not your fault, you are going to lose since it was not legal to be there in the first place. Insurance will NOT cover your damages or to other vehicles.
The amount of misinformation JR is giving out in ignorance really is damaging his reputation.
If you can register it in your home state, you can drive it elsewhere. The talk about PA, VA, FL, etc. would only apply if you tried to register it. Only exception is Cali emissions because they have a federal waiver.... for now.

It’s not legal in Illinois for sure because we have a 3 inch lift/lower limit. Basically your not allowed to drive a car that’s lifted or lowered more then 3 inches

In Saskatchewan Canada, the legal limit is 29.528 inches. Mostly due to poles at gas pumps.
It is because it’s a ford, if a Chevy was that high it would collapse, killing the driver. Also known Chevy drivers they would mow down other vehicles on the freeway.

A 1969 RS/SS pace car would be cool too, but I loved the z28 with cross ram.
I believe if the DOT did an inspection...you may not be legal anywhere. Bumpers too high and tires sticking out too far will knock you out of many if not most states. DOT is not easy as your local police, sherriff's or even regular state troopers.
Take the bed cap off it would look so much cleaner
