What a great intro. Too close to those gators. LOL Loving the camera angles and the reverse slide. You were great going down the slide. Those are really nice RV parking spaces. LOL, you took all the hot water. What great shower areas. Awesome wheelchair accessibility. Daisy is so sweet. I am really loving this park! The observatory is the best part of this park. This is an exciting thing to have on the property. Those trails looked amazing. What a great video!!!! ❤️👍👏 Donovan & Jodi
Hi friends. I can't believe how close the gators were to the walking path. Even the power and water areas have flowers...so pretty. The observatory looks like a really cool place to check out.
Oh man from teeny tiny alligators to the big ones!! Fun video! Definitely Epic playground-never too old to have a good time on the slides with the kiddos.
This park looks beautiful minus the gator lol. Those paths would be a nice bike ride!!! Never seen the bbq grill like that at a campsite. Enjoyed the video 😁
It was exhilarating to say the least. I had to keep my eyes peeled at all times on those trails. I think maybe 50% of Texas State Parks have a grill like that.
Tiny gator was almost cute. Looks like a beautiful park. Nice campground. Facilities look pretty good too. I would totally go down that slide. I was laughing that you did that. You totally should have gone swimming too. Those gators wouldn't have hurt you, proabably, maybe, possibly lol.
@@TexasFamilyCamping We are looking forward to it. The kids are really excited about sleeping under the stars. We are doing a tent, so this will be an adventure for all of us.
We are trying to get into bicycling more, and we really need to stay in more RV parks like this where there are awesome trails to encourage us to ride... HOWEVER! I would not be stoked to come across a gator on my bike! 😆 I suppose it would make me pedal faster, though, no? Sites looked awesome! Also good to know that the observatory is ONLY on Sat night, and that you can't swim. 👌 You touched on so many great points and details, here! We are checking out/writing down a ton of these areas in TX right now because we are HOPING to head there this year (depending on where work sends us). Thanks for sharing your experience! -Keith and Raini
It was exhilarating looking out for gators, constantly. The park has never had an incident between a gator and a human. Our goals with our videos is to help people know what to expect when they go camping at a particular park. We appreciate y'all stopping by. You will always be Keith and Poppy to me, McGuires has that fixed in my head.
@@TexasFamilyCamping In all our travels over the past 3 years, we've only seen 2 gators in the wild! I don't think we're hitting the gatory spots because I know they are around! 🐊🐊🐊
Really enjoyed this, you showed many aspects of the park that I was looking for. I have never been there but am looking to run an ultramarathon there in December and plan on camping overnight, tent. Gracias friend!

Hopefully y'all can make it there someday. It was exhilarating to be so close to the gators. And this park has never had an incident.

This park was such a neat place to visit, way better than any zoo we've ever been too.

THis park was a blast. We had a memorable time there for sure.
My kids said they want to go here! Thanks for sharing!
Between the alligators and the epic playground, this is a GREAT camping trip
Beautiful park!! Extra bonus for the cement parking pads and the gators lol.... reminds me of home ( Florida 😁) 👋👋

East Texas has quite a few gators, as it's a very similar eco system as Louisiana.
Love these cool state park videos!
Thank you so much. I love making cool state park videos
Hmmm those were some good sized gators😳 no swimming in that lake. Those are some nice trails. Nice campsites👍🏻 Great review David
Wasn't it crazy seeing the gators close to the trail. It was exhilarating to be at this park
wow, i couldn't imagine being that close to an alligator. Very cool place
Yup, very cool place, thanks for watching.
Nice review! Thanks!
Thank you. This park really was memorable for me and my family
Check out all the baby gators!
It was so neat seeing so many baby gators.
This is one I have to visit this summer. I can't believe you get so close to the gators. Beautiful park and review.
I can't wait to see your trip here. Don't feed the gators bro... don't, do, it
@@TexasFamilyCamping Don’t worry I won’t! I just purchase a zoom lens 😃

Nope, not gonna swim, nope, nope, nope, not gonna do it, LOL.

Outstanding video! Great overview of what to expect at the park. We are planning on doing some tent camping over a weekend this year. Thanks!
Oh I'm jealous, that sounds like fun. We really loved camping at Brazos Ben state park.

Looks like a cool place. Not sure I would like to be that close to gators though. Maybe we'll get down there someday. Thanks for sharing!
It was exhilarating to be so close. It's also exhausting, because you can't drop your guard.

December would be a good time there. It can be very humid, so I'd like it more in the winter. Have fun. Don't feed the Gators, LOL
So..how was the swimming 😆😜
I was swimming in the sweat of my shirt, LOL. Just kidding, it was actually pretty cool in early April.
I saw a bobcat here just last month....
At Brazos Bend? really? that's so cool.
