Ball the parchment paper several times and it will go into the dish easier.

Turn your pan upside down and mold the parchment to the outside of the pan. When you turn it right side up, it should slide right in perfectly.

I think u can spray the pan and ball up the parchment then open back up (like a ball of foil) it helps it stay in the pan....

Bless your heart you need to order the precut parchment squares and circles. It’s better than all the fluff of trying to get that thick paper to work especially in small dishes.

I love the cream cheese mints! We used to make them for every wedding, baby shower, you name it. The only difference is we pressed the mixture into rubber molds so we had leaves, roses, tulips, stars! It was a group effort and I have great memories of a bunch of us sitting around the table making mints. Thank you for bringing these memories back for me!

9:07 love the description, candy ball things. 😊 If it involves peanut butter you have my attention. A quick candy that's no bake is 1 package chocolate chips, half a package butterscotch chips. Melt over double boiler. Add half to one package chow mein noodles and mux well. Drop by spoonfuls on parchment paper and let set. I have also added raisins , craisins or dried cherries on occasion.

Actually, if you leave the top of the graham cracker peanut butter mix a little rough, your chocolate topping will nestle into those tiny spaces and stick to the bottom layer really well! When I smooth it out, I found the layers tended to separate. If you score the chocolate layer before it is 100% hardened I think you will find cutting it goes smoother.

Amber, can you possibly mix food colorings that your son can have to achieve the green color that you were looking for? Also, to get into the corners of your baking dishes, I use the bottom of my metal measuring cups to press things down. It works very well for so many different recipes and it also helps to make it easier to have them level throughout the dish.

I love you show. Parchment paper work, space we need to go into five pieces. Cut one to fit the bottom of the dish. Then measure the four side’s cutting about a inch higher than dish. Another way is a three way cut measure from one side across the bottom and to the next side leave these sides a little longer about 3 inches. Then cut the remaining two sides and put in place after your dish is finished you can use the one long piece to lift your dish from the pan.

Lay the parchment paper under the glass pan. Using scissors, cut straight twice toward each corner. This will leave a blank square shape cut out. Do this to all 4 corners. Fold the sides of the sheet flat and put into the dish. Then pull the sides back up. If you spray oil into the pan first the sheet will stick to the pan.

Parchment paper tips to try: Scrunch the paper into a ball with your hands as if you're getting ready to throw it away, but then unscrunch it and it will be less apt to move around. I have also seen Kelly over at "Kelly's Korner" use clothes pins to hold the paper in place until she's ready to pop the pan into the oven. I've never tried that, but it looked easy enough and it did hold the paper in place.

This is the way I do parchment paper. Put a piece on your counter & turn your dish over on top of the parchment. Cut along 2 of the sides (right & left) leaving enough so it will come up on the other sides ( top & bottom) to be used as handles to lift it out when you’re ready to cut into bars. Also when you’re pressing it down, you can also spray your hands with nonstick spray. Also spray the baking dish with a little too before you put the parchment in.
Here’s a tip for cutting the bars, run your knife under really hot water, then quickly dry it & then cut. You may need to repeat the hot water step.
As far as peanut butter & allergies go, my granddaughter has a severe peanut butter allergy. She can however have a product called “Barney Butter”. It’s sold in the peanut butter section. When I sent my husband to get some, he thought it was a type of butter & was looking among the butter & margarine!! If you have any guests that have a peanut allergy or any other type of nut allergy, they usually know what they can have as a substitute. Don’t be afraid to ask, people are usually grateful that you’re wanting to make sure it’s safe for them.

I just watched your video from 3 days ago. I can totally relate about height. I was 5'3"; I recently lost an inch. I can barely reach my stove top when cooking. I have to sit on my walker to buzz around my kitchen. I am partially disabled. I can't walk long distances or from one room to another without struggling. So, I sit on my walker and buzz around my kitchen. I have a hard time holding my arms up when mixing food on the stove. If I wasn't partially disabled, I would stand on a footstool to reach into my instant pot or a pot on the stove. It's challenging. One of my best friends is 4"9', and she has to look up to me!!! I'm not that much taller then she is, which is funny. We joke about it all the time. So don't feel bad. Besides, being short has it's benefits. That means we have to have our husbands reach things for us. Shows them they are needed. 🤣 From other RUclipsrs, they fold the wax paper on the bottom of your pan and then cut the corners so it fits inside the pan with a hang over this side. You got this!!!! God bless you and your family. ❤

If you use an off set spatula that will help spread things

If you add a little non stick spray on the bottom of the pan, the paper will stick down better.

Spray the pan with oil so the paper sticks. Then spray your spatula with it as well.

Spray your pan before you put the paper in and push paper deep into corners

Spray the dish first. The parchment paper sticks to the spray.

Hi there I learned from another video I had seen on lining parchment paper is that if you roll it up like a ball or just really just half to wrinkle it and it will lay better or you can cut the corners it will lay better

Just add a lot more green dye to make it darker

Unfortunately if you add a lot, it gives a really weird taste!
