Yes! And Julias cookbook is already one of my all time favorite cookbooks. I have "other" cookbooks, that i may make a handful of things from. But everthing in Julia's are things that either i have made, or will eventually make here soon. You'll love it! www.juliapachecocooking.com/cookbook
I just got done reading the book of Enoch! And I could barely understand it. It's funny I thought at first that angels were showing him heaven and how things work with religion and stuff like that. This really broke it all down for me so I finally get what it was about. Thank You!!
My mom used paraffin wax in her chocolate to dip her candies in at Christmas....I loved the little crunch it gave the chocolate. All your candy looks delicious.
I also put my candy in freezer before dipping it in chocolate, it sets up faster after dipping. I’ve been making all kinds of candy for about 60 yrs. I also use paraffin.
When I dip chocolate I shred a 5 pound bar of chocolate cover the bottom of a square cake pan. Put it in the oven at 200^ when it starts to loose shape stir it smooth then dip
Oh my goodness i don’t know which one to try first! They all look fantastic! I will definitely be trying these, they surely will tempt any sweet lovers taste buds. Thanks again
Hey Debra! Yes, her cookbook is the BEST! I've made so many of her recipes and we've LOVED them all! AND she really is the absolute sweetest.🥰 I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video. I hope you have a Wonderful and Very MERRY CHRISTMAS.❤
Inspiration of the day = Candy! 🤭 Oh my gosh, you came up with about ten pounds of candy with your meemaw’s recipe! Big smiles when you brought out the big mama spoon when your spatula broke. Beautiful job on all the things you made and I always feel the love you add to your recipes! 🎶
I make Christmas mice. Dip a stemmed maraschino cherry in the chocolate. Place a Hershey's kiss on the end. Place a couple of sliced almonds for ear 14:11 s and draw the face with an icing tube. Of course the ears go between the cherry and kiss.
Thanks for the compilation - it's exactly what I was looking for. I have added 4 of them to my MUST make list. Thanks again and Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas!
Oh wow! That paraffin wax brought back a LOT of precious memories 🤗🥰💞 THANK YOU!! The peanut butter balls are different than what we make. We don't add graham cracker crumbs. I believe I may try your recipe next year. Everything looks delicious. Thank you for these awesome ideas!! 💞🙏🏼💞
Hello Miss Valerie👋👋👋 This was a great vid, the candies you made all look amazingly delicious and decadent😋 TYFS, you’re such a sweet soul, I hope you and your family have a blessed holiday, Merry Christmas, enjoy!♥️💫✨👼🏻✨💫♥️🎅🏼🎄☃️ PS: I love Julia, she’s a very kind person, I too got a copy of her cookbook, it’s a beautiful book and I was fortunate to receive a signed copy, I was thrilled♥️
A candy that I make that was passed down from my mom was peanut butter balls. I also use the Gulf Wax in my chocolate and it does make them shiny and pretty. I use toothpicks in my peanut butter balls to dip them into the chocolate. Once the chocolate hardens I take them all out. Note: I put a toothpick in each peanut butter ball, stick them in the fridge for about 30 minutes, take them out and dip, stick em back in the fridge and once that chocolate hardens I take all the toothpicks out.
Thank you for these candy recipes. I have been making pnut butter balls for over 40 years, but I have never heard if adding pecans. Thanx Val. Merry Christmas!!!!
More fantastic recipes, and I love your presentations. You are such a joy to watch, and I thank you for sharing with us! God bless you and your beautiful family. Merry Christmas. ❤❤❤
these recipes n treats looked so good Valerie!! but when i make the christmas crack , i have always used saltine cracks , and i dont add the nuts until the choc has melted on top ..but im sure ur versions is also good , ive just done mine the way i was taught....... and its always a hit
Hey Sandra! I've never tried that, but i think it would be fine. Maybe only add half the sweetened condensed milk first, mix, then add more until the mixture holds together when pressed or formed into a ball.🥰
YES! I ordered a double boiler and it was just delivered today. My aunt had let me borrow her Salad Master so I could use until I got mine. She said she's had it since she was 17. 😊
I loved all the candy recipes. Can I have the link to order Julie Pacheco Recipe Book. I love her cooking show also. Thank you and Merry Christmas🎄

❤you are write they're so good!😘😍
I use a plastic fork and break out the two middle prongs for a dipping fork. That way when you are finished just toss it out.
I just got done reading the book of Enoch! And I could barely understand it. It's funny I thought at first that angels were showing him heaven and how things work with religion and stuff like that. This really broke it all down for me so I finally get what it was about. Thank You!!
I think that sprinkling mini marshmallows on the chocolate coated graham crackers would be pretty tasty it would be like a s'mores😂
I use a spaghetti server ladle with the slots in bc that lets it drain pretty good. That’s my helpful hint.
Great tip!!! Thanks
The grasshopper fudge looks so good. I love the green 😊

Hey hey sweet friend ❤❤❤. I love me some good ol candy and love handmade/homemade gifts ❤❤
We call chocolate-dipped pretzel rods “Magic Wands.” My kids always loved them. White almond bark also works great.
I don’t use cherries in mine. I always roll the balls and refrigerate or freeze before dipping. Also no wax.
Delicious love homemade candy. Thanks for sharing your recipes. I will be trying these. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I want to try your peanut butter balls. They are different than the ones my mom used to make.

If you don't have chocolate chips can you use chocolate bark
Wife uses a small slotted scoop made by Wilton (from Amazon approx 8$) to dip her Oreo balls: she loves it
Thank you so much! I'm ordering that now!🥰 I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas.
Does anyone know where to buy the parafin wax at?

I hate coconut !!! I didn't know there was food grade paraffin wax !!
