In this video, I will search through a bag of copper and nickel goodies I purchased from my coin dealer. I was able to purchase this bag of coins that had small cents that included Indian Head Cents, Steel Cents, older wheat cents as well as a ton of nickels - buffalo nickels, liberty v nickels and other old coins!
My Silver Dealer knows the things I like and said that a customer came in and just sold all of their coin collection to him. Since I usually purchase all the old silver and he knows I like copper too, he let me get it all! I will be looking for key dates, semi key dates, upgrades, and of course and varieties within the years I hunt.

Yes please show more videos like this i like when you get any bags of coins and go through them. It makes me feel like im looking through them myself but also had the knowledge of what to look for.
Always fun to watch a random bag video. Truly don't know what to expect, and can start dreaming of all the possibilities. Never worry about the length, watching it makes the time go quick. I wonder how long and how many customers it took to get that bag worth, or was it just 1 or 2 with a collection dump.
The 1898 Indian head cent looks like a clipped planchet, but it’s hard to see.

Your 1912 Liberty V nickel is definitely without question a Denver mint example. I have collected now for just over 55 years and have seen a lot. It sometimes takes a very keen and discerning eye to be able to pick up on certain details. Some nice finds in your bag of goodies though. Have fun with your hobby 👍

Hey Rob, be sure to check that nice '38-D buffalo for a rotated die variety. Bought two (2) uncirculated ones 18 years ago, and they were BOTH rotated dies.
That was a whole herd of buffalo in that bag with a couple of beauties!

At $100 - that mixed bag was a sweet deal - and I bet it was a fun hunt! And I really enjoy the "super-long" videos!

I don’t know about anyone else, but you could have really long videos and I’ll still watch them 💁🏼♂️ so in my opinion, let the video take as long as it needs to be.
I think the 1912 is an S mint tbh. You can see the split at the top of the s. That's my opinion though. Hopefully it turns out to be the S

Awesome video as usual but when I first started coin roll hunting a year before COVID I bought my first $25 in pennies from a bank I do not belong to that was at my local grocery store and I found a Flying Eagle cent, I was like holy, holy, holy and my Dad said remember your a lady, and I said holy, lol, but it was very warm where the date would be, but still shocked I found one in the wild. Keep up the great videos.

This is what I do to film my albums since I don’t have time for coin roll hunting I just go to my LCS and buy wheat Pennies to fill the album especially some of the older spots

Really enjoy these types of videos. It's interesting because of the variety of coins you get.
I go to the same coin shop for most of my needs and they will sell full rolls of buffalo's and v nickels to me for very cheap and I have found quite a few decent dates like 1883 with cents type 1 and 2 1913 Buffalo etc but never a 1912 s that would be something else for sure. 100 bucks is definitely a good deal
