This look good. I like the fact it doesnt replace the OEM Roof Rails like the other similar priced racks do. Ive got a 2019 adventure, so same rails as here. I DO plan on getting a good RTT, once i decide on a rack of course.
Just got this thanks to your video. On the rear of the mounts you’re supposed to just set the jack nuts with the button heads then use the 10mm bolts. You’re right about that tool too. It’s trash. I set the nuts just enough to get the regular bolts in, put the rails on, then finished it up with a 10mm on the driver. Worked really well.
THanks this Video was so helpful, I am getting my 2024 TRD off road in June and I am going thru all the internet trying to find my best choice for my liking. and i like this rack a lot
Nice! I have a new video coming out this week for the FrontRunner ladder. I'll also have an Update video shortly regarding the rack and set up since install. Keep in touch!
That was pretty informative. I am leaning towards the Frontrunner for my Rav4 TRD as well, simply because I do not care to remove the headliner and try to seal the unused holes in the roof. Sucks that the provided rivnut/plusnut doesn't install well.
So Front Runner makes a different version, based on the year and model. I would suggest reaching out to FrontRunner and asking. That's what I did to make sure it fits correctly. I was bummed because they don't make a wind faring for the TRD model.
@HDMOVIECREATOR2012 I don't think so. I would suggest hitting thr website, or do what I did and teach out to thier customer service directly to ask. They will not only set u up with exactly what you need but chances are good they will give u a discount! I do recall they have multiple styles for each model.

Curious if this allows you to still use your sunroof. Awesome video.
It does! I wondered the same thing but it opens and lifts with no issues with my 2020 at least.
Very nice! This would work on non-TRDs right? Basically just remove the factory cross bars and install that one?

Will this be compatible with the rav4 prime? Mine doesn’t come with the adventure roof rails, just the regular
