there is another set of merchants in the desert near the top right of the map that have better gear one of them holding a musket and all ammo types and cheap elemental non metal armor and shirts
How fast your day progresses is tied to the respawning of some ores items and bosses like the power trees and metal so if like me you make time stop moving nothing will respawn so if you want them respawning faster make your time move faster.
An easier way to move the loot from base to base with over encumbered, is to have a grappling gun, loot up ALL your inventory, and grapple the ground. 5 sec CD, just grapple to and from your pal box and storage. Can teleport base to base with 3200 lbs of ore and coal
@@JBhater37Yes but you have to get everything in the chest by the box first. It's a pain in the ass when you have multiple chests everywhere. Might as well empty a chest, grapple to the next, empty, grapple to the next, etc. It's much faster than transferring little by little
Another tip for Merchant capturing, you can directly throw your pal at it and set it to "Aggressively target" so long as YOU dont attack the merchant directly, you wont get a wanted level, but if your Pal attacks it.... its just a war casualty. Also, if you capture the Pal Merchant or Marketeer, you can spawn them in your base, check their inventory, then throw them back in the pal box and check inventory again, it will refresh their inventory. I had thought it was on a reset every day, but nope, their inventory resets when they respawn.
@@XultrashaviT you actually can I tried this morning just find the settlements with spawn points. The two I use are the small settlement and fisherman settlement bottom left
no wonder people dont find any merchants anymore when they got catched out of the villages etc... same for the tower bosses catch "glitch" with bad luck it can crash files or corruped them, mostly in multiplayer sadly aswell no really need to catch them if u can just travel back to them since the most once got a travel point
Grappling gun works great when over-encumbered. The only issue is the 10 second cool down, but if you put your grappling gun in the 1st weapon slot you can open your inventory quick swap in a weapon/tool, and immediately quick swap the grappling gun back in to get rid of the cooldown. On Xbox it’s just Y and Y again with the inventory open (hovering over the weapon/tool). Definitely faster than 10 seconds once you get the idea.
If you go to the cliffs behind the starting temple area, you can find a small little space in between a cliff face an a massive Boulder, that leads into a network of caves beneath the starting area. You will eventually end up underneath the main spawn point.
??? Never found that. I did find a random dungeon down there next to the beach from the opening cutscene, and built my first base on a plateau overlooking that area. Is it easier to find on the ground, or with a flying mount?
1) The Artisan trait increases work speed by 50%, making the best. 2) I’ve just started experimenting with breeding. I bred a Lamball with Artisan, Diet Lover (decrease chance in getting hungry), and Workaholic (decrease chance in losing sanity). You can put on a fourth trait like Serious or Work Slave for more work speed, or a movement speed trait like Swift or Runner so they get around the base quicker. After that, you can use the pal essence machine to level their ranks which will level up their unique pal trait and also their work skills. It will take a lot of pals though. 3) Kingpaca increases how much you can carry by 100 each. Lunaris, by 80 each. That’s all I know so far.
I think it’s also worth noting that with schematics, in many cases the equipment that you can build with a schematic in your inventory is going to be a higher rarity and have better stats than the versions you can learn to craft on your own from the technology tree. I made a rare (blue) quality crossbow with a schematic I found in a dungeon that does so much more damage than a basic crossbow I could have made without the schematic.
Those higher tiers do tend to use Ancient Civ. Parts though. I've seen some people ask why their Parts disappear without realizing that the parts were getting consumed to repair all their 'Uncommon' tier items from schematics.
I'm sorry but I gotta ask, are you guys being serious? Rarity in any game makes anything better...... how would you not know that? Btw there are legendary schematics for most stuff and those are obviously the best. You can find lists online of what boss pal drops what schematic.
Fishermans village south of the volcano in western region has a merchant that sells different items. Dune town in the giant desert in the north has another merchant that sells some other items as well. The merchant in the dune has the ice chunks people may need, merchant in fisherman has the high pal oil. Hope this helps. Also green merchant sells gear/ammo, blue merchant sells/buys pals. Both can be found in dunetown, and fishermans village
also to note for work speed. The Lucky trait from shiny versions increases attack and Work speed. Great little tip to capture those ones to then breed for higher stats in general. :3

The fastest mounts by FAR were Pyrin and Ragnahawk, saving a LOT of time traveling. Also, it is worth getting the early mounts and working your way up to Pyrin or Ragnahawk. I rode Direhowl until I was level 30, not knowing the difference, until I bred a Pyrin by mistake. Hope this helps.
@@Zabeltross No reason to add him. He's basically a legendary, and an ugly one to boot, so most people are going to go after cool looking pals over some weird pal that doesn't fit the overall design in the game.
He is legendary, and he's the fastest mount in the game on top of being a flying mount. If you don't get him you're just making your life harder. And looks? What? So you would deny yourself the fastest and best mount in the game because it's looks aren't what you want? Honestly you sound dumb as fuck, and most ppl will get and use him, only ppl that wont just can't. No reason to add him 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Zabeltross LMFAO you're idea of being "good at the game" is getting the fastest pal?? How sad must you be? How void of creativity... You lack inspiration. You must be such a boring person. I bet you only play games in Creative mode or with cheats just to have the best stuff. LOL
Another useful tip, the grappling gun isn't prevented by encumbrance. You can grapple to a nearby storage or fast travel. If you keep a box in view of you palbox. you can fast travel between bases with large stacks and fast drop your needed resources
Certain pal skills that immobilize your target can actually increase the capture rate. I saw this with a plant skill that has a chance to root other pals.
If you're over encumbered, you can use the grappling gun to move. Higher level grappling guns can shoot farther and have a faster cooldown. Also, the cooldown will stay on screen if you aim down sights.
If you're playing on your own world, turn no drops on death, drop your old base, set your new base, grab all your stuff, then hit the respawn. easy base moving.
i didn't realize they prevent cold... hmm.. my flying mount is actually fire type so.. i'm off to the snowy land... does that work for ice type in the fire area?
For the "extra pal working trick" They also actually do what you want them to do, i stop counting how many time i put a fire type to melt ingot and he would stop melting to come help me cook at the other side of the base for no reason, when you use your "own pal" he will stay and do only that, he will not stop after 5 min to go eat and do something else after XD
@@pabloatpreschoolyes, can't stack the same trait but this guy right here stacked exactly what you would want for movement speed. Legend best, followed by swift, next runner, and lastly nimble.
@@names-j i did testing with ML as well but it didnt work as well as this, i presume game calculates pal movement speed and player movement speed differently and pal speed overrides player speed while mounted just like the stamina bars
Thanks for the tips man! I’ve got one as well: use the shield. It’s got its own inventory spot and absorbs the first attack you take. It also regenerates after a minute or so. It’s saved me a ton. It’s always active when you have it equipped.
using the Pal condenser on the pals that improve carry weight will also increase the amount of weight you can carry. The cat starts at 50 weight but goes up to adding 90 by level 5.
If you use a kilimary instead of a glider when you use the slide and glide boost you will have a longer hang time because of kilimary's epic hang time.
The cryohawk or whatever it's called is better you fly forwards forever or go with the hangyu it lifts you upwards although with little forward movement, I prefer hangyu because they'll saved me from bosses pumping on me and shoving me under the map very scary when suddenly your falling to the bottom of the world just because the Cheshire cat decided to pile drive me.
Appreciate the video! The pals not mining ore was driving me nuts lol. I found a cool trick for a new player to get a dinossum. If you build your first base next to the starting area there's a hill they like to walk up. You can get them to follow you towards your base and then aggy when close enough. Make sure you have decent pals working at your base and it quickly becomes an unfair fight for the higher level pal and a jump start for yourself.
-When defeating the Alpha/Boss version of Pals either in Dungeons or in the world map you have a really low chance to get an accessory as well. The Alpha Pals that are in cave, there should be a chest too that can drop Schematics. The schematic drop depend on the Aera/Dungeon level not your character level. No handgun in a level13 dungeon and no Crossbow in lv30 Accessory and Schematics for armor and weapon have rank too: Green(Uncommon) Schematic+1 / Blue(Rare) Schematic+2/ Violet(Epic) Schematic+3/ Orange(Legendary) Schematic+4 The Handgun you can craft is common 250atk, the uncommon is 437atk (175% atk) and the Rare is 500atk (200% atk)
I didn't know the fast stack feature. I don't know how I was able to overlook it. 😮 I literally searched the whole internet for it, I even looked up if there was a mod that adds something like the dedicated storage intake from Ark or something similar. But that it's THAT EASY, could explain why I didn't find anything in the internet 😅
Two words, jump climb. Also found a way to do some foundation sinking and i am able to build partially in uneven terrain. Jump climb is great early on when you have no mounts
You don't have to get the save to reset the dungeon boss. Just move two rooms away and back. There is a fruit tree overlooking the mammoth boss on the pride rock looking mountain.
Hi! Thanks for the video! Lunaris and Broncherry also increase the weight limit. And one free/unlimited way to get fire organs is by assigning the cute little Flambelle to the ranch. It's totally worth reading the entire paldeck to find out what pals can drop on the ranch. Enjoy the game, everyone!
The flambelle will do the same with flame organs in the ranch, as the vixy does with pal balls. Also if you can get a "wanted" status, run into a boss dungeon, get the boss between you and the police that will even follow you in there (lol) and they will fight thru boss for you!
It may have already been mentioned, but the passive skill "artisan" increases work speed by 50%, and it I'm not mistaken, you can stack them by using the condenser thing. So 50 (artisan) + 30 (work slave) + 20 (serious) = 100% increase. Or you can replace "serious" with "lucky" and you end up with 95% work speed increase + attack + 15%. It might not sound like a lot when you have lower level attack or defense, but when you're getting into higher level pals, 15% of 400 ain't nothing to sneeze at!
You cant stack skills in the condenser. It only makes your Pal level higher. Use negative traits in the condenser. Using positive traits does nothing and you will lose that pal. If you want more positive passives, use breeding
Besides stone, level 1 mining will also mine the little nodes of paldium ore if you have a base near those nodes, like by the first lake you come across in the starting zone. Cattiva constantly attacked this when my original stone quarry was mostly out of my base circle and ignored by my pals.
This is a bit of a glitch but there's also a way to capture any Tower boss at the moment you basically just go to the small village or any place there's an NBC get a wanted level fast travel to any Tower shoot one of the guards again raise your volume level to at least level two go inside the tower skip the cutscene and do not attack the boss you can bring out your pal is long as you keep it on passive mode by clicking in on the right thumbstick for console or for PC I believe it's pressing number four then selecting do not attack at that point your pal will basically just be a meet Shield I would only recommend doing that if you're not able to survive the encounter then proceed to run around the arena trying to get the boss in between you and the guards or get the bus to attack one of the guards and eventually they will shoot the boss which will glitch it out he'll walk off to the side or corner and just stopped moving at that point you can throw any sphere and its back and capture it keeping in mind it has to be at the back if you get the message saying it seems to be immune to spheres go back to the main menu or reset and try again once you have captured your boss go back to the main menu to or just die to reset the Wanted Level some bosses are harder than others IE the flying boss and in that case it's easier to have a higher wanted level I think it's hilarious to have a boss with the trainer riding on it working in your base
You can also move around while over encumbered by using the grappling hook guns. Lunaris can boost your carrying capacity by 80 per lunaris in your party as well. If you catch pal trader or black market npcs you can repeatedly take them in and out of your pal box on your base to reset their inventory
There is no point in capturing a merchant to put in your base when the merchant is right there at the small settlement with a fast travel point. All it does is take up a slot that could be used for a tame. Please stop suggesting this, it is the most pants-on-head silly idea I've ever seen. Just use your palbox to fast travel to the merchant if you want to dump inventory.
Using the grapple guns to travel when your weight is too high is much faster than using moves. EDIT: Can just make 2 grapple guns and switch between them in order to constantly move around.
make sure you have food in your pal feed station that adds to San(ity) such as most cooked foods and even cotton candy or honey (which both drop from the ranch if you have the correct pals) without sanity restoring foods they will get stressed and sick. they generally eat whatever is in the left most slot of the feed station first. when you respawn (or die) you can choose from several other locations to spawn at... go to each one and hit the fast travel point nearby (one is a bit far to find one) very helpful if you are just starting a new server / world... if your world / server is set to drop stuff on respawn, just select "respawn" while IN your camp, or next to a fast travel spot, so you can easily get back to your stuff after. (or you could store everything first) you can keep food from expiring by sorting your inventory, or the bag it's in (such as the pal feed station) i also heard that food in your "death bag" that drops when you die / respawn will never count down and expire??
I realized that the mining level affected what was mined after i wasted money on buying a boar pal lol and kicking myself in the ass after just finding them later on lol 😂 A good tip i found is that nails are OP in sell cost. I sold 10 nails and made 1600 gold lol. Its 160 per nail and its 2 nails per ingot... 320 per ingot. 10 ingots will equal 3200... 100 equals 32000.. and so on lol
Humans are worth capturing for some extra gold. Since they are treated like Pals, you can sell them to Pal/Black Market Merchants and they are worth more gold than your typical Pals. For example, I found a Syndicate camp that had some lvl 20 enemies at including a "Crusher" guy who was this big tanky guy with a minigun. I managed to catch him and he ended up selling for like 700-800 gold easy. I made close to 10,000 gold off of selling 6-7 thugs I managed to catch. Another way to increase Pal's movement speeds is by improving them via the Pal Condenser. This one takes a little time, especially at higher levels but increasing a Pal via the condenser improves their stats as well as their skills. So, take a Pal like Direhowl, who's Partner Skill is letting you ride them once you make the saddle. Increasing them with the condenser also increases their Partner Skill making them move faster while riding them. Though it takes 4 Pals to condense to get to the first rank up (not counting the Pal you want to upgrade). And for the 2nd level, it takes 16. 32 for lvl 3 and 64 for lvl 4. That's 116 total. Meaning if you want to max out a specific Pal, you're going to have to catch 116 others of that same Pal in the end. Similar to my last point about upgrading Pals with movement based Partner Skills, upgrading Pals with skills that boost your Carry Weight, such as Cattiva, also increases how much of a boost they give you. There are also other Pals that give you an increase to your carry weight. At their base levels, Cattiva gives you +50, Lunaris gives you +80, and Kingpaca gives you +100. Broncherry is another Pal that gives you increased carry weight. The cool thing about teaching your Pals new moves via the fruits is you can literally teach your Pals ANY move if you have the fruit. Like, you can teach your Fire Pal a Water move or your Ice Pal a Fire move. This came really come in handy for helping your Pals in battle. Since every Pal type has one other type they are weak to, for example...Fire Pals are weak to Water Pals and Water Pals are weak to Electric Pals. Just teach your Fire Pal an Electric type move to give them an edge against a Water type Pal.
This might go without saying, but until better base pathing and pal AI is figured out, keep a feed box with food next to where the pals spawn at the base, behind the palbox. That way when they are stuck somewhere and hungry you can swap them in and out at the palbox, and they will eat right away. Small time saver. Also if you're growing crops make sure you have another feed box next to your plantations. That way they aren't wasting time running all over the base to put food in.
Its crazy how I look over tool tips. Didn't know about the quick stack option. Ik most of this stuff from experience but its good to check and see if you missed something
Grappeling gun is amazing utlitiy tool. Moving fast around terrian if you can't slide. You just hook, switch , and glide. Now you are flying. I use this during dungeons alot. It is also great for moving encumbered.
Grapple gun while overencumbered. No matter how much you have, you can freely grapple about. Other weight boosters like broncherry and Kingpacka ALSO stack. Not just Cativa. This also goes for booster pals such as the dollar store eevee.
you do know that you do not need to use the respawn option to get rid of the wanted right this is one big misinformation about palword all you need to do is log out like you would normally then just log back in and the unwanted is gone thte + side of doing this is you do not need to run back to get all your stuff back fromt he point you used the respwn option just logging out is loot better option to use. the one resion to use just by looging out then back in is if your trying to catch thee npc vendors in the game becoue you come back intot he game at the same point you had log out at. so using the respawn option is really a lam way to do this.
The first one is actually huge. How did i never notice you can slide lol. The other ones.. not so much. I mean a passive perk that increases your movement speed actually making your mount faster is kinda obvious, isnt it? I'll include my own tips for those interrested below. That said, the best work pal stats are: Artican + Serious + Work slave + [X], where X depends. You could go for Conceited for 10% more Workspeed, but it's usually not worth it. Swift can be a consideration for Transporter pals. Diet Lover is otherwise my go-to option to reduce food consumption, thus increase effective work duration. Workaholic may be an option if you play around with the harder working conditions, but quite frankly you dont really need to (if you optimized your base properly). You can use breeding to make any passive stat combination you want, albeit it might take some time. Goes faster once you have 2 perfect parents, but you may have literally pages of the same pal until you get enough perfect workers for 3 bases - and im only talking about one pal here. As far as bases are concerned, the layout is *by far* the most important thing to optimize. Think about pathing. Put chests directly next to fields or ore patches to make collecting faster. Have the food bowl(s) close to working areas. Separate things where most pals dont have to go often (or only a few pals / occasionally) from the rest. This includes workbenches, stone/wood collection, crusher, furnaces and so on and so forth. But also beds and relaxation, which can be at the far side of the base. Pals dont often use these. Pathfinding and walking distances are your enemies. Food is *far more* important than most players think in the beginning. Pals will go eat when they get hungry (duh), but they will only eat 2-3 items / til the hungry debuff is gone, and then return to work. If these 2-3 items are berries, they will walk to get food and eat 2 minutes later again. If these are, say, jelly toasts, the same 2-3 items make them work for far, far longer. Next to base layout optimization this is the single most important thing to keep in mind to improve base productivity, and most players seem to ignore it and feed berries only. On a note.. for some reason the myth spread (or was spread by incompetent youtubers for clicks) that Digtoise is a great mining pal for bases. It's not. It's horrible. Might be the worst in game. It's heavily outperformed even by mining level 2 pals. Never tested mining level 1's (why would i), but heck they'd probably outperform Digtoise too. It sucks. It cannot be overstated just how much it sucks. Stick to Tombats, then breed yourself Anubi later on. Which, by the way, can be done using Celeray and Relaxaurus. Dont think about how that works tho please.. Also, some Pals have different base values for their work speed. Most have 70, some have 100. Obviously that's basically a free 50% increase, so pals with 100 workspeed generally scale far better when you breed them with multiple work speed passives too. There is also pals working at night.. but im not sure if it's visible somewhere in the ui which ones do. As for moving when encumbered; there is better ways than using skills. First, the grappling gun. It's a buggy mess tho, so it's not my prefered way. Also it either doesnt work on servers (anymore?) / very well, or they patched it. Overall just not worth bothering with anymore, at least where i play. Other than that.. mounts are a great way, but not riding them or using skills. Simply throw them in front of you and climb on their back. Since you can climb a mount that's a couple meters in front of you, you basically just moved without being able to move. Just get down again, rinse and repeat. This is the least inconvenient way i found so far, but they really need to rework how the weight system in this game works. Everything is increadibly heavy, especially ore. It doesnt help that devices stack 9999 of everything and you cant just take what you can carry.. no you have to take it all. So being overweight really is a problem by design which you cant get around, and it`s annoying. Quite frankly, as a fellow gamedev, it's a bad design decision and they *will* change that in the future in some way. I'm personally not a huge fan of the Vixie advice. It may be good for insanely early game, but i'd rather have pals farm and crush stone for paldium ore, which you need in excess for plenty of things. You can then just craft the pal sphered. And the better ones too, not just blue ones. Personally i've also never felt like there was enough space in a base to let a Vixie in.
It's not worth using the back bonus. It only increases the rate up to the level you've boosted using effergies. However it increases to an even higher rate when you weaken it. Try it from the front, it'll increase to the same amount at full HP as you receive from the back bonus at full HP.
If you’re feeling lazy and don’t want to grapple jump If you line a a chest up with your fast travel in a straight line, if you open the chest very late as you go past, you’ll continue walking with the chest open As soon as you grab you’kk stop walking because overencunmerbed But iit’s great for having to move stuff across a base
When transferring items into your storage box, if it’s a new item and you have an empty slot, just press Y (XBox) and it will move it to the empty slot automatically.
A better and easier place to get merchants is in the desert town of Dunehold I think? Anyway there is a Pal merchant with level 30 pals for sale, one that sells ammo for most of the gun types, and another that sells the oils used in the crafting of guns. The reason they are easier to grab is that they are all level 14. Also there is a Black Market merchant just outside the walls if you feel ballsy enough to get him.
You can use harpoon gun while over encumbered, doesn't matter if you have 80k weight over the limit, you can still just move between your chest and the palbox, teleport, then move to the new chest and drop it, no need to invoke pal or drop items
14:39 Changing the boss spawn in dungeons is dimple, as said in the video.. all you need yo do is walk into the room you were in before, go past the tourches the boss eller then have changed, but sometimes when do this it could look like you did it wrong.. well you might have, but also might not have done it wrong cause sometime the sane boss will spawn over and over.. was hunting for a pal the other day and got the same boss 5 times in a row before it changed to a different one
So I never intentionally used it to get a new dungeon boss, but I once had a Foxspark boss get stuck under the floor and had to leave and come back to get a new one. Obviously it wasn't another Foxspark, but it's a good thing that's possible or else I would have been stuck.
Yooo I haven't seen an RG video in years 😩 Hopped on to this video and was like "this dude's voice is familiar" I still remember the intro he had where he broke down the door. Idk how recently/long ago he stopped using it (or maybe just not on this vid?) good times
Also when you respawn you have a chance to break your armor and shield. Just take those off then respawn and then it wont break. Unless they removed that feature

You can use the Grappler to move around when you're encumbered.
there is another set of merchants in the desert near the top right of the map that have better gear one of them holding a musket and all ammo types and cheap elemental non metal armor and shirts
If you let traders and the black market guys out in your base, you can talk and trade with them
You can also use kingpacas to increase your carry weight by 100lbs for each in your party check it's ability
You can even have multiple grappling guns and cycle between them if you don't wanna wait :-)
CD on steam is 10 seconds. :3
If you take off your grapple and then put it back on, it takes the CD away 😊
Put crates next to your pal boxes and just transfer stuff that way lol
Quick thought why not just fast travel to them instead of wasting time capturing and switching pals out for them?

no really need to catch them if u can just travel back to them since the most once got a travel point
@ShadowFoxnyra but there's no need to travel back there ever, if you catch them?
That logic seems backwards to me🤷♂️
Grappling gun works great when over-encumbered.
6 with the last one so you'll only wait 2 seconds between the launches
Also, I see a lot of people mentioning Cattiva for increased carry weight, but Broncherry increases capacity by twice as much.
I can t rememeber off hand but kingpaca helps with carry weight too
Also Lunaris, but Kingpaca still gives more boost than her
Broncherry, broncherry aqua and alpha paca all increase by 100 so a team will add 600 if you really need that extra poundage.
@@boundedscythe7726 but you can only have 5 pals :D
Lunaris (breed a direhowl and a rooby), wumps or wumpa, kingpaca, broncherry. and a few other y'all have mentioned help with weight capacity.
Wumbo Slaytan & Wumpo both increase by 120
I think it’s also worth noting that with schematics, in many cases the equipment that you can build with a schematic in your inventory is going to be a higher rarity and have better stats than the versions you can learn to craft on your own from the technology tree. I made a rare (blue) quality crossbow with a schematic I found in a dungeon that does so much more damage than a basic crossbow I could have made without the schematic.
ARRGGG! I had no idea, I was just throwing the schematics out since I had already learned the cross bow etc. thru tech tree!
@@cece8096 Yeah, they definitely don’t make it obvious. I was in the same boat until a friend told me what I was missing out on.
Both can be found in dunetown, and fishermans village
to note on the slide hill thing. It's not the roll on PC keyboard and mouse. It's C for crouching. It does the slide animation. :3
also to note for work speed. The Lucky trait from shiny versions increases attack and Work speed. Great little tip to capture those ones to then breed for higher stats in general. :3
Do you know what the slide would be on console (xbox) ?
I've compiled a good size list of useful things myself:
Pals that increase Carry Weight
Cattiva: +50
Lunaris: +80
Broncherry: +100
Kingpaca: + 100
Broncherry Lvl 2 Ability (Condensed): +110
Mount Speed
Time it takes to cross a predefined distance
Character Speed running for reference: 15.5secs
Character Speed running and using galeclaw glider: 8secs
Pyrin (Runner, Swift, Nimble): 4secs
Ragnahawk (Runner, Swift): 4.5secs
Pyrin Noct (Swift): 5secs
No Passive Speed Skills:
Pyrin: 6.14secs (6.15/6.13/6.14)
Ragnahawk: 6.17secs (6.23/6.16/6.12)
Beakon: 6.59secs (6.56/6.66/6.56)
Fenglope: 6.91secs (6.89/6.90/6.93)
Rayhound: 6.93secs (6.87/6.99/6.92)
Univolt: 7.15secs (7.20/7.16/7.10)
Direhowl: 7.52secs (7.57/7.49/7.49)
Kitsun: 8.5secs
Elphidran: 8.5secs
Vanwyrm: 9secs
Eikthyrdeer: 9secs
Nitewing: 9.5secs
Kingpaca: 10secs
Arsox: 10secs
Dinossom: 11secs
Reindrix: 11secs
Surfent: 12secs
Broncherry: 16secs
This is not a finished list, as I did not have enough tech points for every saddle, but it's the only important mounts most people will use to travel.
Uh you forgot the fastest pal in the game..... jetragon, I believe your test would have him at .2 sec
No reason to add him 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@DizzyDJW I have no words. Have fun not being good at the game.
Put the merchants in those showcases and you dont have to use a worker slot 😂
I was wondering what that was for and guessed maybe legendaries on display. But this is way more useful!
@megnugget2631 I almost think it's intended lol 😆
I did but couldnt access any of them
This is genius
Certain pal skills that immobilize your target can actually increase the capture rate. I saw this with a plant skill that has a chance to root other pals.
Some ice moves have a chance to temporarily freeze enemies and some electric moves can temporarily paralyze them.
You just saved my sanity planning a big base relocation
Very informative for new players. Ive been playing since it came to gamepass, a whole week 😂 and totally missed the quick stack
Surprised you didn’t mention if you have a fire pal out it prevents cold and acts as a torch
i didn't realize they prevent cold... hmm.. my flying mount is actually fire type so.. i'm off to the snowy land... does that work for ice type in the fire area?
@@briwanderz Sure does some mounts even state it in their active skill
For the "extra pal working trick" They also actually do what you want them to do, i stop counting how many time i put a fire type to melt ingot and he would stop melting to come help me cook at the other side of the base for no reason, when you use your "own pal" he will stay and do only that, he will not stop after 5 min to go eat and do something else after XD
today i successfully breeded Legend swift runner nimble beakon oh boy it flies
U can have multiple speed passives?
@@pabloatpreschoolyes, can't stack the same trait but this guy right here stacked exactly what you would want for movement speed. Legend best, followed by swift, next runner, and lastly nimble.
@@names-j i did testing with ML as well but it didnt work as well as this, i presume game calculates pal movement speed and player movement speed differently and pal speed overrides player speed while mounted just like the stamina bars
Now do it for Jertragon
Woah. Everyone needs to know this
Thanks for the tips man!
Celeray is another Pal you can use as a glider.
Galeclaw is the best glider for speed and distance, no comparison.
Broncherry increases carry weight by 100, as does King Paca. Lunaris increases by 80.
😮 Thanks!
Appreciate the video! The pals not mining ore was driving me nuts lol.
I found a cool trick for a new player to get a dinossum. If you build your first base next to the starting area there's a hill they like to walk up. You can get them to follow you towards your base and then aggy when close enough. Make sure you have decent pals working at your base and it quickly becomes an unfair fight for the higher level pal and a jump start for yourself.
lmao. common knowledge really init. carting tames to easier accessible spots
No shit, RifleGaming here! haha I knew it was you, used to watch your Destiny 1 Vids back in 2016. Good luck in your life friend, cheers.
No handgun in a level13 dungeon and no Crossbow in lv30
Accessory and Schematics for armor and weapon have rank too:
Green(Uncommon) Schematic+1 / Blue(Rare) Schematic+2/ Violet(Epic) Schematic+3/ Orange(Legendary) Schematic+4
The Handgun you can craft is common 250atk, the uncommon is 437atk (175% atk) and the Rare is 500atk (200% atk)
I didn't know the fast stack feature. I don't know how I was able to overlook it. 😮
I literally searched the whole internet for it, I even looked up if there was a mod that adds something like the dedicated storage intake from Ark or something similar.
But that it's THAT EASY, could explain why I didn't find anything in the internet 😅
Glad to see this guy is back and his videos are doing wayyy better than the fallout videos. Keep doing it man. Love the content
"This is how you capture a merchant..."
It's the exact same way you capture a pal.
The artisan and diet lover skill combo is the perfect working pal combo
Add serious and swift for max output
You can also stick a flambelle in a ranch to farm you flame organs. Havent found a way to farm electric, ice, or poison yet.
maybe the small ice and electric hedgehog looking guys?
Currently it looks like only the fire organ is autofarmable. It is a specifically designed feature, with the lore explained in the game.
That's part of the method for capturing the boss also
You forgot to mention Lucky and Artisan Passive SKills, each +15% and +50% respectively.
I haven’t seen you videos in so long rifle love to see it been watching since the oh destiny days
12:00 personally I find that Direhowl's primary is better, its got a lot lower cooldown- and it *actually* moves you even if you're over encumbered.
Fenglope... But still... Grapple
Besides stone, level 1 mining will also mine the little nodes of paldium ore if you have a base near those nodes, like by the first lake you come across in the starting zone. Cattiva constantly attacked this when my original stone quarry was mostly out of my base circle and ignored by my pals.
Wow the quick stack option is a time saver. God I love this game haha.
The quick stack is new to me. I just used y button to do it one at a time
Thanks for the amazing info!
P.s you sound like hiccup from How To Train Your Dragon, especially when you say Nightwing 😁
Honestly this gives legends Arceus + breath of the wild vibes. It looks awesome.
It’s an amazing game, can’t recommend it enough
@@nornornornor9204 unfortunately my game pass expired
It plays a lot like ARK Survival Evolved mixed with Pokemon Legends Arceus and a dash of Breath of the Wild.
You can also move around while over encumbered by using the grappling hook guns. Lunaris can boost your carrying capacity by 80 per lunaris in your party as well. If you catch pal trader or black market npcs you can repeatedly take them in and out of your pal box on your base to reset their inventory
@21:35 I like to call them "Skill Trees". Pretty clever actually, lol
Nah I caught one and I just bring him out and sell shit to him whenever I want 🤷♂️
Nah, I only condense one pal at a time, got plenty of space for the human slave army I’ve created
(or you could store everything first)
you can keep food from expiring by sorting your inventory, or the bag it's in (such as the pal feed station)
i also heard that food in your "death bag" that drops when you die / respawn will never count down and expire??
I realized that the mining level affected what was mined after i wasted money on buying a boar pal lol and kicking myself in the ass after just finding them later on lol 😂
A good tip i found is that nails are OP in sell cost. I sold 10 nails and made 1600 gold lol. Its 160 per nail and its 2 nails per ingot... 320 per ingot. 10 ingots will equal 3200... 100 equals 32000.. and so on lol
1:28 you can ride on a pal and attack the merchant, wont trigger guards
EDIT: Use pal attacks, not your own
The vixen pal finding pal balls is awesome.
Did you know the Tau cats will just find gold for you?
Genuinely useful info! Great video!
You catcher a merchant just to run from you, that's hilarious. 😂😂😂
"Lucky" is another skill to use for your worker pals around the base and can be obtained from any shiny you catch
Very informative and helpful! Thank you!!
Bro this man be making me feel dum and feeling like a real gamer
I love that campfire trick. I’m gonna try to expand on that by building barriers to block the creatures from walking away.
This is how you get Mammorest when you're lvl 5
Nice tips! You kinda sound like the grown up version of hiccup from how to train your dragon 😅
Great tips! Thanks for the info
Had a direhowl chilling in my box with runner and swift. Shit is turbo mode
They are naturally fast land runners without passive buffs
Kidnap your local merchants!!!😂
I am DEFINITELY trying that fire trick on the mammoth!!!! I friggin want one but its too OP for me right now lol
It's not worth using the back bonus. It only increases the rate up to the level you've boosted using effergies. However it increases to an even higher rate when you weaken it. Try it from the front, it'll increase to the same amount at full HP as you receive from the back bonus at full HP.
If you’re feeling lazy and don’t want to grapple jump
If you line a a chest up with your fast travel in a straight line, if you open the chest very late as you go past, you’ll continue walking with the chest open
As soon as you grab you’kk stop walking because overencunmerbed
But iit’s great for having to move stuff across a base
Respawns reset when you leave the region. Sometimes you just swim a few yards into the ocean and back, and this will work. 👍
for moving when overuncumbered you can also just graple yourself with the grappling hook gun. Much more faster this way :)
The Dungeon boss fight tip was so legit
When transferring items into your storage box, if it’s a new item and you have an empty slot, just press Y (XBox) and it will move it to the empty slot automatically.
Bro no way that's insane. 600 IQ playz
You missed the "work only" skills, like "Artisan" which just increases work speed by 50% with no negative.
Okay, this explains why my Mining Outpost has not been producing like it should! I need lvl 2 mining on all of them.
I use the Jetdragon for traveling, it's pretty fast, even rising and descending. So far for me its speed is 2nd only to the fast travel points. 😁
So I never intentionally used it to get a new dungeon boss, but I once had a Foxspark boss get stuck under the floor and had to leave and come back to get a new one. Obviously it wasn't another Foxspark, but it's a good thing that's possible or else I would have been stuck.
A note on conceited Pals: If you have too many that have weak defense, they might become incapacitated during raids. Just a thought to keep in mind!
I clicked on this video not realizing it was made by the Nuke Daddy himself 😂 I really hope this game sticks around and doesn’t get sued into oblivion
Bro I'm LVL 40 and just found out about the Quick Stack 😭
kingpaca increases carry weight by 100 when in party
Imagine having 5 max level kingpacas
Yooo I haven't seen an RG video in years 😩 Hopped on to this video and was like "this dude's voice is familiar"
I still remember the intro he had where he broke down the door. Idk how recently/long ago he stopped using it (or maybe just not on this vid?) good times
something i only just realised those fruit trees are literally skill trees
Also when you respawn you have a chance to break your armor and shield. Just take those off then respawn and then it wont break. Unless they removed that feature
Thanks very much. This is really helpful.
12:07 You can also use the grappling hook to move when over-encumbered.
This was awesome thanks!
Artisan, 50% work speed as well :)
Whatever I'm pretty sure you can make them defend your base if you have it set up with the machine guns you can unlock..
FYI, I caught a shiny Vixy and she has dug up giga spheres. Not sure if it always happens or not, I just caught it last night
I had a regular vixy up for hours and only got pal spheres. I got a shiny vixy imma try it and see
@@LyteRetrohow did it go? Any gigas?
That’s sick, I wonder if you condense the Vixxy if it’ll give better balls as well
@@nornornornor9204 nah I'm at work rn. I'll text when I get home. I'll also condense it to see
@@LyteRetro let us know if you can replicate or if I got lucky or if I randomly picked them up in the ranch after a raid. Honestly don’t know for sure
You can also have certain pals in the farm that drop flame and ice organs
