Depending on the job yes women ARE equal to men in many ways at work. However if we’re talking about jobs that require physical strength & endurance like being a firefighter 👩🚒, a cop 👮, a construction worker 👷♀️, etc. then NO women are not equal as men will be generally stronger than they are.
I recently saw a clip of a pregnant cop trying to arrest a violent criminal. She was pleading for help from bystanders telling them she was pregnant. It was disgusting to watch. How this is allowed is unconscionable.

I’m a cop. In my city, our first 3 years of service we are not allowed to select our own partner or sector. I had a female partner for a whole year. I lost years of my life. Constantly had to think about where she was, what she was doing, and how to make sure she was safe because she was a liability. I have body camera and stories for days about the incompetence. I used to have a decent amount of anxiety going to work because I felt unsafe with her as my “back up”.
That makes my anxiety shoot up thinking about it. Even dogs are better partners to have for back up. Hell, dogs are orders of magnitude better at it, actually.

Remember the all women's SWAT team in the SWAT competition? They couldn't finish the obstacle course. They've had to lower the physical requirements so women could make it through police academies. By lowering standards, officers and civilians are less safe.
Same thing for fire fighters. Women’s physical tests are not as strenuous. My son-in-law said they have to carry the physical load for them. I wouldn’t want one of them to be responsible to pull this big momma out of a burning house. 😂
Should not all police officers meet weight and physical fitness standards? I have seen male officers that are morbidly obese and obviously unfit. I don't think this is just a male/female issue. When I was in the Air Force, I knew a female security police staff sergeant that was fit and tough and took a no-nonsense approach to her job. Much respect to her. In an ideal world, we would have standards for weight and fitness for all police officers!

Actually, it's better to set a good pace and not quit. That's how you do a foot chase. Why? A cop is wearing at least 25 lbs of equipment and your average person can't run at full speed for more than 10 - 15 seconds. How long can you run, at top speed, wearing 25 lbs or more?

The police force needs to have yearly physical fitness tests just like the military. The military will literally kick you out if you’re over the BMI scale or can’t pass the physical fitness tests. There’s no reason a cop should be overweight. Lots of young people join the police academy super fit, and then once they get hired and pass field training, they let themselves go and become obese.
That’s about 99% of how much women contribute to “building” the modern world. Just being annoying telling people what to do and pretending to be men’s “equals.” lol

They wanted to give her leadership training , so they gave her a chance to lead PT for a combat-at-arms company. She didn't make it half way through the run. The First Sergeant just kept on going and left her there.

When it was reversed and I was on the restraining side. It took less then 2 minutes to pin the Male, restrain him and handcuff him. One bend on a joint had him give up immediately. I am 6'6 and was 310 lbs at that time. (20lbs overweight). Which is more intimidating? Someone my size running into a cell block to back you up or a 5'4 to 5'7, 120-160lb woman?! Which would make you feel more secure and protected? Remember this isn't Disney or Marvel. Where a 120lb Annorexic Girl can punch a guy and he flies through a wall from her punch. Nor can they throw a grown man (Even the same height and weight as her). Back to Reality we go! Not a Single Female officer I worked with made me feel safe if they were a responder. There was NOTHING they could do if things got serious... Yet when I and the other few guys close to my size responded the inmates immediately went to their cells. Not so with the Female responders. The inmates would finish making their coffee and microwaved food before returning to their cells. Females should only work in Female prisons. We had another issue with Female Officers. They kept getting caught Riding the Inmates Sausage Express... To my knowledge their were never any male officers screwing any inmates but the those lady Officers... Well A few got caught and fired, all quiet like... They also had lowered Physical Requirements then the male applicants which is insane. A female who scored lower then you would still rank higher then you in the hiring order based partially on those results. Example: it takes her 2:20 Seconds to finish the obstacle course. A male finishes in 1:45. If two minutes is the cut off for men to finish and 3 minutes is the cut off for women. The female would score higher then the guy because she was further away from the cut off. Even though the guy was 35 seconds faster. This is just an example. Women think they are tough but most just know how to run their mouths and attack men because they know it's taboo for a man to hit a woman. Weird how children shows almost always have at least 1 girl who hits boys and there is Never any repercussions for it. They learn this shit at an early age. Take care.
Its not just women cops, its diversity hires too. My late husband and his fathere were from thevmust be 6ft ornover 200lbs, and fit era. Race didnt matter. But in the 1980s the provincial force had to switch to a point system. So first new hire i met, as a Nurse avg height I was taller than him, and hexwas fit but small. I said privately to my husband, how will HE be your backup? Husband laughed and said he is doing his required street patrol, but he was hired because he flies helicopters professionally, he will be based out of headquarters in 6 months. Ohhh, ok. But initially tney sent the new female cops all over the province, remote locations. My husband had huge wide shoulders, add a winter police parka hed fill a bar entrance where a brawl was going on, he was concerned about protecting the little asian female cop in the brawl with loggers, and miners. Not a fit Not fair.. Eventually they planned placements a bit better. They do better on special teams llike aSA or traftic, where they are called in second to investigate support manage.

Well with this logic there would need to be extensive requirements for being a cop beyond just not being a woman, for example no smaller people, im a short guy and i know id have an extremely hard time restraining bigger individuals if they were to turn hostile, compared to the average male cop (5'9-5'10 and up)

In 1975 my NYPD DAD (God rest his soul) refused to work with a female partner. They put him in for a psych evaluation. He told them “when I went through the academy there were stringent height/weight requirements, as there should be. Now you’re throwing all standards out to accommodate women and little people who claim discrimination. That makes a dangerous job even more dangerous for me, not having it”. A very SANE response.
I had a fireman friend who said basically the same thing.
Retired Navy. Same thing going on within the military. With the combat exclusion lifted and different standards alot of women and men will get killed because of this asinine policy developed to accommodate women.

The police force needs to have yearly physical fitness tests just like the military. The military will literally kick you out if you’re over the BMI scale or can’t pass the physical fitness tests. There’s no reason a cop should be overweight. Lots of young people join the police academy super fit, and then once they get hired and pass field training, they let themselves go and become obese.
That would knock out 85% of the force.

This is really one of the biggest reasons why our police force has fallen. Cops when I was growing up all literally looked like they were special forces and they had mean tempers to go with it.

They wanted to give her leadership training , so they gave her a chance to lead PT for a combat-at-arms company. She didn't make it half way through the run. The First Sergeant just kept on going and left her there.

One of my exgirlfriends from my college years was a police radio operator. That's a perfect job for a woman. Working indoors all day. Never have to touch a criminal.

Just wanna add I used to work in corrections. When I was in training I played the inmate for my classmates to try and restrain and put into handcuffs. 4 Women and 3 adult men could not restrain me. While the Males in my class had the strength to partially restrain me the girls could do nothing. In the end our instructor made me go easy on them. When it was reversed and I was on the restraining side. It took less then 2 minutes to pin the Male, restrain him and handcuff him. One bend on a joint had him give up immediately. I am 6'6 and was 310 lbs at that time. (20lbs overweight). Which is more intimidating? Someone my size running into a cell block to back you up or a 5'4 to 5'7, 120-160lb woman?! Which would make you feel more secure and protected? Remember this isn't Disney or Marvel. Where a 120lb Annorexic Girl can punch a guy and he flies through a wall from her punch. Nor can they throw a grown man (Even the same height and weight as her). Back to Reality we go!
Not a Single Female officer I worked with made me feel safe if they were a responder. There was NOTHING they could do if things got serious... Yet when I and the other few guys close to my size responded the inmates immediately went to their cells. Not so with the Female responders.
The inmates would finish making their coffee and microwaved food before returning to their cells.
Females should only work in Female prisons. We had another issue with Female Officers. They kept getting caught Riding the Inmates Sausage Express... To my knowledge their were never any male officers screwing any inmates but the those lady Officers... Well A few got caught and fired, all quiet like...
They also had lowered Physical Requirements then the male applicants which is insane. A female who scored lower then you would still rank higher then you in the hiring order based partially on those results. Example: it takes her 2:20 Seconds to finish the obstacle course. A male finishes in 1:45. If two minutes is the cut off for men to finish and 3 minutes is the cut off for women. The female would score higher then the guy because she was further away from the cut off. Even though the guy was 35 seconds faster. This is just an example. Women think they are tough but most just know how to run their mouths and attack men because they know it's taboo for a man to hit a woman. Weird how children shows almost always have at least 1 girl who hits boys and there is Never any repercussions for it. They learn this shit at an early age.

Its not just women cops, its diversity hires too. My late husband and his fathere were from thevmust be 6ft ornover 200lbs, and fit era. Race didnt matter. But in the 1980s the provincial force had to switch to a point system. So first new hire i met, as a Nurse avg height I was taller than him, and hexwas fit but small. I said privately to my husband, how will HE be your backup? Husband laughed and said he is doing his required street patrol, but he was hired because he flies helicopters professionally, he will be based out of headquarters in 6 months. Ohhh, ok. But initially tney sent the new female cops all over the province, remote locations. My husband had huge wide shoulders, add a winter police parka hed fill a bar entrance where a brawl was going on, he was concerned about protecting the little asian female cop in the brawl with loggers, and miners. Not a fit Not fair.. Eventually they planned placements a bit better. They do better on special teams llike aSA or traftic, where they are called in second to investigate support manage.
