This is a huge help, thanks dude. Yours is the only tutorial I've found that I can just use what I have (back of brushes, paperclip, a comb) and don't have to get specialist sculpting tools. You make it look super easy.
Thanks bro! I’m really glad you found it helpful 🙌 I really wanted to try some green stuff for this idea but had no tools and juts thought it made a good video! Glad u enjoyed! And happy hobbying! 🙌🙂
For a first crack at green stuff, I thought your final product was top notch 👌 Impressive use of generic household items and spare parts. l especially liked the clever use of the brush protectors 👍
Thanks dude! I was tempted to get some proper tools’ and do the video with them but a couple of things stopped me. One not having the money to buy them (that was the main one ) And two, after I desired to just go for it with the gear I already have, I thought hey that would be the same sort of situation other would be in. Glad u liked the video dude! Consider checking out my others for more. 🙌
Thanks for the video I'm currently making my own space marine chapter and I want the to have tattered cloth on the armor to bring out that spector aspect I've given them
Thanks for all the tips and ideas! I'm wanting to make some custom Flood figures/set pieces for my Halo Mega Bloks sets and just discovered green stuff. I look forward to using some of these techniques!
Glad u found then useful my dude! 🙂🙌 thanks for commenting too! Hope u have fun using them, and love the idea of making some flood with them! 😜 that will work soo well! 😍🙌🙌
Nice work. I need to spend some time playing with Green Stuff. I looks like a great tool to add some customization to my projects. Great tips and ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot dude! No worry’s! I think the biggest barrier at least for me was getting past the fear of just doing it. Once I started everything seamed to fall into place really quickly! always happy to share! 🙌
I am pondering making a Gallowdark killteam board... but I want it to have multiple levels and Iw ant to actually make some VERY twisted amalgams and shapes. The books describe there are actual towns in the gallowdark and such, ships from 80k years ago mixed up with new ones etc.
Hand cream (like Nivea) works better than water as a lubricant for your tools. Put a dab on the back of your off hand and dip your tool whenever you need to. When you're done use whatever is leftover for it's intended purpose.
Tentacle top tip... Twist some greenstuff around a straight piece of wire, then roll it out "normal sausage style". The wire will end up hidden inside the Greenstuff. Do the comb trick again to get that tentacle look (can also roll the comb over a second time on an angle to create different textures for the tentacle)and let dry for about an hour. Long enough so you cant effect the detail if you touch it. Once the Greenstuff is semi set you can actually bend it into a desired shape due to the wire.. Great vid and new sub right here..
My god, that is Genius!! 🤩 thanks for the top tip man, definitely gonna be trying this! I can’t believe I had thought of this, it’s so simple!! 😍 thanks again man! 🙌🙌 and thanks for the sub!
Bro this is SICK! I am now just trying greenstuff and what a pain in the butt hahaha. Thanks for all the great pointers. I’d love to see this painted 🤩
You mad, beautiful bastard! I was seconds (the browser tab is still up from blowing £20 at Greenstuff world for their rollers and postage. All I want, mummy, really, all I want is to make a few gas-mask connectors for my WW2 bolt action cheap heads to put to the bodies to give them the Krieg look. Just proxies but MY proxies. All the online tutorials were GSW rollers. And yes they do look great and would be great for a Mechanicus/Chaos maniac. But for 20 rolls and that's it? USE A COMB! ZOMFG! Such an obvious thing. I tested a minute ago with blu-tac. IT WORKS! I've subbed and I promise I'll look through your painting and basing tutorials. But 100% pat on the back for household improvisation. Like Tyler Duren and soap.
Looks really good! I definitely need to up my sculpting game.......and my painting game.........and my .......erm.........gaming game😂 cheers Graham for a great vid
Thanks very much Martin! I still have to do a video I. Painting it now haha! Your gaming is better then mine! I swam to remember being crushed by u at shedhammer!! 😂🙌 thanks again man!
You just saved me lots of euros in tools I don't need to buy now, as well as giving me tons of good ideas. I'm not exactly going Nurgle, instead I like to spice up and convert my Chaos Knights a lot. But still, I've learnt lots of useful things from this video. Thank you very much!
Honestly man, I was nervous at first but it was great fun, and even as someone that had no real experience with the stuff at that paint (still not now if I’m honest! 😂) I’m really happy with the out come! Second part to the video is currently in the works so keep an eye out! 🙌🙌

@@BurntAquilaPainting You can use this tip to put servo-skulls hovering above character models.
@@darthkek1953 yes you can, it’s a really versatile trick isn’t it! 🙂 another good one for cables and servo skulls is thick gauged guitar strings. 🙂🙌

Aww rick thank you for your kind words! Glad it helped. 🙂 go for it dude! What GS project are u thinking of starting?
nothing super elaborate... I'm starting with a Call of Cthulhu Lovecraft beastie, as if it goes a bit wrong who's going to know? ;-)

This would be a superb way to add Chaos mutations onto vehicles like Land Raiders.
This is so cool!!
Thank very much my bro!
Nice 👍🏻
Thanks my dude!
Very cool pal, I've used green stuff a couple of times and it sticks to everything lol. The best tip is keep your tools wet.
It is indeed mate! I go over that tip in the video 😂
It's like the first tip not even 3 minutes in. Just leaving info in comments and not watching the video?
i love your build videos
Thanks very much dude! 🙌
Hello, When it fully cured, Can it bend like plastic? or breakage just like average sculptable epoxy? Thanks.
Love this video you make it look so simple with great results keep smashing it brother
Thanks man was a long one to make tho ahah! 😂
The music tracks you used?!?!?
It’s a track from epidemic sounds mate, really great source for all Genres and sounds effects 🙂🙌 hope u liked it man!
If I could ever get some Greenstuff (or miliput) I'd like to see what I can make out of it.
