Thanks for the detailed review. I finally got my w lav pro and really happy with the clarity. The design is unique, looks professional and beautiful. The microdot connector is also one positive value for this mic. It can be fitted to various recorder.
Great to see you doing videos again. I would love to see you compare this to the DPA’s and the COS 11’s

Hey RLFO, thank you for reviewing our mic and bringing up this noise floor issue. After the past week of having looked into it we believe the issue is our adapters are wired for Lectrosonics Universal wiring and not servo wiring which is what your transmitter perfers. We are correcting this and sending out free adapters to anyone that bought these lavs. All units starting next month will ship with the new updated microdot adapter. We would love to send you one too for an updated review.
3 years later this still is showing up as good company practice and shows your brand can be trusted to take care of business when needed. Thanks for that.

Yikes that noisefloor is noticeable even on my iphone speakers. Wondering if that’s inherent or if the impedance/voltage isn’t a good match for the Lectro SM systems.
yeah that's the same noise floor I''m having but I think mines worse. I can't believe I missed this.

RLFO SOUND I had a feeling it was a wiring issue. That noisefloor seemed too high to leave a factory like that.

That noise sounds like RF. I wonder if those Micro-Dot connectors have the required blocking capacitor?
You mentioned the 6060 at the beginning of the video, is that your new go to over the 4060?
as always very entertaining. Have you ever used the Rode lav mic's? If so how would these compare?
