I don’t think this ball is Nano based like ERG. But I could be wrong. Nano doesn’t work that well for me so that makes me excited about this ball. Cause I love that catalyst core. Original crux worked well for me but only cause I gave a very weird layout.
I have a Crux Pearl. The Crux Pearl is E.R.G. (Evolution Reactive Genesis) without the nano, whereas N.R.G. (Nano Reactive Genesis) states the obvious. To my understanding the G.I. (Game Improvement) covers are nano-based. Therefore, the Crux and the Alpha Crux were nano.
Just bought the Astro. Love it. Had it drilled "longer" than my Physix. Lately the lanes have been too dry for my Physix. League nights I bring my Physix, Astro Physix, and Mix. I'm going to need a bigger ball bag soon.
No those are both great. It’s never the ball it’s the bowler. You either don’t roll the ball good or you were using the balls on the wrong conditions. This ball looks absolute amazing.
+jase welsh that’s debatable. Several good collegiate bowlers I know with do not match up to the spec cover at all. The cover is extremely smooth and if you don’t have a decent amount of revs or axis tilt, it is possible you just won’t match up with it. Not every great ball matches the bowler’s game, and it’s impossible to judge how good a bowler is based on which balls fit their game.

One of my favorite balls was the Crux Pearl. It had the ERG cover stock. How does the GI-20 cover stock compare to the ERG.

GI-20 is the newest cover stock from Storm. GI cover stocks in past years have been the strongest cover stocks in the Storm lines.

The crux pearl worked on nothing I bowled on and the prime would only work with backends that are fried anything else the ball would puke everywhere
