You missed it, but Cyrus knew about an FBI agent because right before that scene the news guy said that someone from the Attorney General's office leaked that there was an undercover agent in the building and we kind of know that it was Attorney General because he was pissed with Hotch when Hotch threatened him and kicked him out
The fact that with this line Reid unintentionally and unknowingly threw Cyrus's own words he'd said before to the old sect leader (the one morgan interviewed) back at him make it even more amusing and iconic
Yeah the season really kicked off strong this one is probably my favorite of three and one of my overall favorites as Emily and Reid were both amazing. Emily stepping in to protect Reid when Cyrus was seemingly going to shoot, making sure to tell Morgan where Reid was both of them asking about each other right away. Emily getting thrown around but still having the focus and will to speak in code to protect her team, from themselves in a way as outside their having trouble listening to it, just shows despite a tough start with the messed with paper work and Reid's post abduction issues they've come together. They're a found family now.
Yassss I love it when them good episodes come lol this was one of those you can tell that they all synchronized and without talking to each other they managed to pull through. This episode reminds me of Tobias episode similar dynamic but different situations 😊
I love how even people jailed that committed murder hates anyone that do anything to children but being groomed to self sacrifice and live for someone else is just crazy
9:33 that is one of the worst things to be convicted of to be a child molester, even if that allegation is not true it will be very hard for the prison population to believe that. The other biggest No-no to be sent to prison for is attacking the elderly.
Unfortunately not all people have that moral compass on the inside because they have also done heinous things. I’ve seen and heard plenty of places where there is nothing done to people who hurt children.
Hahah same,Bones is number 1 for me too,and I think in last 3 years I rewatched it like 10 times, they don't make shows like this anymore and that is why I rather rewatc old ones like Bones, Mentalist, Fringe,...
Everytime I watch your reactions I remember how AMAZING criminal minds is. Can’t wait to see the rest of the series. Do you think you will watch the new criminal minds: evolution?
This episode did always stick with me in the end, but it's too close to the real Wako incident to truly be as creepy or intense as some of the other episodes on this show in my opinion.
I can't remember her name but she is also on ER as Susan's sister. I actually remembered the character's name while watching the episode and have somehow forgotten already... This episode has a lot of familiar faces actually. There's the mom, Luke Perry and Trip from Enterprise/Michael from SGA. And I know the daughter from something too, but it's not Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants...
For the benefit of young folks who were born too long after the events, here are two instances where cult leaders killed themselves, after committing mass murder. Whatever the circumstances their underlying paranoia and narcissism lead to it. The most well known was the The Jonestown Massacre in 1978, where poisoned Kool Ade was consumed, killing 900 . The one from the mid 1980s was Heaven's Gate where 90 people died, having been promised their souls would be gathered in an alien ship. The most popular way to kill their followers in the situation depicted in this episode, or get them killed by deliberately provoking law enforcement and leading their people off of a cliff. We used to have folk heroes who " bravely " fought the cops in showdown. But those characters never had to put the Innocent in harm's way and cult leaders ain't folk heroes.
Ahh this is one of the best episodes ever, one of all favorites, like there are always episodes that you remember not one this one is this. Greatest. Ahh and yeah like You said team is great.
Please remember to respect the rules of the channel with spoilers, talking about the next or future episodes, mentioning other characters, and the outcome of those characters. Thank you.
I do feel bad for the mother and daughter the daughter was just a kid and had been brainwashed/groomed to believe in Cyrus like that and the mom just wanted to protect her kid and she ended up being one of the only ones to die
I love your reaction videos so so much and I wanted to ask if you could react to the movie Honor Society with Gaten Matarazzo. I think your reaction would be very interesting. 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Emily Prentiss is a top tier character
@@Catherine.Dorian. Elle was a loose cannon. Prentiss is much more levelheaded in the intense situations👍🏼
That's a good idea. Tier rank Criminal minds characters.
A lot of people focus on JJ and Reid, but I love Reid and Prentiss's relationship. Such deep mutual respect.

9:48 AAAARRRGH YOU TALKED AND RAMBLED THROUGH THE CLUE🤬
He also missed when Hotch said “we can’t lace the food because of the children” and went on a teeny rant about how they should have laced the food 😂
Best line ever - Cyrus "God could have stopped me." Morgan bursts through the door and shoots Cyrus. Reid "He just did."
The fact that with this line Reid unintentionally and unknowingly threw Cyrus's own words he'd said before to the old sect leader (the one morgan interviewed) back at him make it even more amusing and iconic

9:33 that is one of the worst things to be convicted of to be a child molester, even if that allegation is not true it will be very hard for the prison population to believe that. The other biggest No-no to be sent to prison for is attacking the elderly.
One of my top 10 favorite episodes

They portrayed this so well that it is almost exactly like the Waco, Texas one, if that is what they were going for.
Personally a top 10 maybe even top 5 episode for me 😂 amazing story, great character growth, and the unsub is literally so psycho
Luke Perry ❤ even as a villain/religious nutjob I love hearing his voice lol
this episode always stuck with me. its a good one.

Unfortunately not all people have that moral compass on the inside because they have also done heinous things. I’ve seen and heard plenty of places where there is nothing done to people who hurt children.
criminal minds and Bones are my all time favorite shows. Bones is number one, I am rewatching it again, I think this make the 11th or 12th time lol
Hahah same,Bones is number 1 for me too,and I think in last 3 years I rewatched it like 10 times, they don't make shows like this anymore and that is why I rather rewatc old ones like Bones, Mentalist, Fringe,...

I also think he was modeling Jonestown and Jim Jones.
I forgot how this episode ended holy shit
Seen this episode many times, think I just realized that the girls mom was Liz (Luke’s sister) on Gilmore Girls ❤
And the girl is Bailey from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
I can't remember her name but she is also on ER as Susan's sister. I actually remembered the character's name while watching the episode and have somehow forgotten already...

I just love Hotch put people in their place!!!
Hands down, one of my favorite episodes!

Emily is the best..
This episódio is on real history, have on Record is very sad 😢😢
Cyrus was sh!t but that fact that he was played by Luke Perry means I can’t hate him. My love for Luke is greater than my hate for the character!
Yup this one was good and I’m just like this actor seems real familiar I still forgot who he is 😭 isn’t the actor that died
Yes that's Luke Perry he passed away after suffering a stroke in March 2019
@@lindseycampbell4271 yeah I watching him in riverdale I had forgot his name is all
