Looks like the cell was too strong for this pattern. When he got it right where he had the Pitch Black, the Cell came back very weak and left corners. When he kept the ball in the oil 1:54 then it rolled up hard and went through the pins correctly.
I have both of them, I think black widow urethane is very much strong than hot cell, hot cell is not much different with other traditional urethane ball, maybe a little different in backend, but black widow urethane is totally not like a urethane ball... it hook like a solid reactive ball, you'll not gonna believe it when you throw it on the lane

Similar in shape as they are both asym urethanes. Cover can't be altered too much being urethane.
