@@jimmyjohnson3537 hey man good luck in the tournament! I throw at the second arrow, but have a different style I don’t really use my thumb. I have found this ball holds in the middle in house patterns on oil, and you can throw just about any arrow on right side of house pattern and just adjust speed and it will hook back
So this has to be storms answer to Hammers purple urethane which is quite dominant on tour when urethane is the go to. I would love to see a comparison video of the 2. I understand that may not be possible when you guys are primarily a storm/RG channel.
Just found you channel. Nice video. I'm curious what slide sole you use? Noticed you plant and I do the same thing but sometimes I still get to sliding too much for my liking
Matt Robey thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! Sometimes I use a S2, in this video I’m using a T5. They just resurfaced the approaches and I use that when they are a little slicker. Which one are you currently using?
@@QuickBallReview nice, I'll need to grab one of those. I have been using an s6 that for whatever reason doesn't slide hardly at all for me. I need to have a backup plan in case that gives out. Thanks for the info.
As a two handed bowler, this ball seems almost essential for the low oil conditions, the pitch black is great but I wasn't getting the reaction I wanted down lane.
Is this ball similar motion to the Hammer purple urethane ball? Also will this ball over react say on the third game when the line is burnt up? As always thank you for the great reviews you helped me a lot finding the right balls for me!!
Thanks for watching Jason! I think you are correct, similar in motion, specs are similar, covers probably similar to as they are both not all urethane necessarily. Let us know if you get one and what you think!
I use urethane for spares and when there is dry/short oil. Does this hook more or less than regular urethane? Would I still be able to shoot spares with it? I flatten my hand but not completely for spares.
Well it’s because this center hooks a lot(if you didn’t know this is Berks Lanes in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania) and I know this center hooks a lot because I’ve bowled at Berks Lanes before.
Thanks for the video. One point however, 13 to 5 and 17 to 10 like you guys threw it in this video is not straight. Directly up 8 board, that is straight, or directly up second arrow, that is straight. I would have loved to have seen you play this ball straight up the boards to see if you could get it up the lane and how it would carry.
nordattack straighter than he normally plays for Jack. Too much friction where you’re asking and is why the angles are what they are. Thanks for watching!
"Too much friction where you’re asking" Not for low rev players like myself and most league bowlers. To understand if this ball has a role in our arsenal, we need to see it used the way "we" would use it, not the way higher rev players like yourself use it. It is cool to see you cross so many boards, but we normal league bowlers don't do that. At least have one normal league bowler demonstrating the ball in your videos.
@@QuickBallReview right on...i couldn't wait to add the original Thunder Flash Pro when it came out in '99. The idea of urethane with a modern core was and still is, a winning idea. A lot of my straighter players (older guys like me) were really excited for the "regular" Thunder Flash Urethane but found it....hooked waay to much even with weak layout and a surface returned. The TFP was a lower hooking, maybe, version. Perfect for using in a pit when reactives just were too squirrely. I still have it and my El Nino 2000 working on testing them and my new hip soon. Want ti be ready with a "buy sheet" in the event my hip doesn't pop out and stick through my skin (yeah left , slide, hip of course). I've always carried a pearl urethane in my bag too.
Really enjoy your videos. thanks
Thank you for watching Kyle! Really appreciate it!
Just bowled my first 300 and it was using this ball! So i aprrove! haha
Highly recommend it

Omg this ball looks nice definitely coping it
It’s going to be great!

You never know!
Im left handed and use a purple urethane on my house shot, motion is almost identical
Thanks for watching and letting us know!

Matt Robey i would try the s2 first and then go from there if you’re currently using the S6!
I'm gonna have to put one of these in my bag!
I agree!
As a two handed bowler, this ball seems almost essential for the low oil conditions, the pitch black is great but I wasn't getting the reaction I wanted down lane.
Sounds accurate for sure! Your pitch black is most likely just burning up on you due to high rev rate and friction in the front part of the lane
Very well done video. Enjoyed your commentary & observations. Will definitely be buying one soon.
Carpe Diem thank you for watching! Let us know what you think when you get it!
I like the color, looks like every beginners favorite orange bowling ball that sits on the racks at your local bowling center

For Jack the pin up ball had much better hit than the pin down
No doubt about that! Thanks for watching!

I borrow my buddy's Scout Reactive for having a flat wrist shooting corners perfectly straight and it works fine for me
When I go back to Berks Lanes I’m gonna need a Fever Pitch or a Pitch Black because Berks hooks so much
Fever Pitch vs Pitch Black
Have you polished one? If so can we see video of that by Jack?
Jake Bedard we haven’t yet, but certainly can
Since this ball is a urethane/reactive mix, will it soak up oil, hence end up requiring oil extraction after some time?
Great question! In theory I would say yes, but we can let you know after we get some games on them!
I hate how much it looks like a lane ball
Will it work for 14#
Global 900 is the best company rn
What balls are you liking from them?
Quick Ball Review I use the black ops and the covert ops
Black ops is a sweet ball! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Quick Ball Review no problem
The Honey Badger and White Hot Badger are BOTH in my bag, along with Crux Prime and DV8 Poison.
Holy crap the broad coverage with high rev players 😍😍 but this makes me want both the Pitch Black and Fever Pitch

@@Rachelbowls24 yeahhhhh I've bowled there too. I can't get anything down the lane there 💀
@@sadboisonly1004 Berks just hooks too much, where as Hiester Lanes(which is my home center) is actually controllable

Can you use urethane like the pitch black on fresh house conditions in the dry? I just bout a pitch black and want to try it for league.
exilebear42 you can for sure. All depends on your ball speed and rev rate as well!
Was never a fan of urethane and what it does to the lanes but after this video.........I’m still not 😂
Haha... gotta have 1 in the bag for sure.

Joshua slosser wonder why... lol
Can anybody help me I need a ball that is storm and is for heavy oil
Crux Prime or Halo by Roto Grip would be great choices.
Jack Easum,, The Storm Sure Lock ,, a lot of people really love that ball,I know people who have bought more than one !
this looks like a house ball... kind of disappointed personally... was waiting for another urethane :/
First like and comment!! 😝😜
You should do a storm fever pitch giveaway
Maybe in the future 🙂
