Before the TRD came out and everyone started to fish that bait, I too used to fish the grub and catch a ton of bass in the same pressured waters no one could get a bite. Used a small 1/8 or 1/6 oz owner bullet lead head and Fat Albert Grubs. Too many baits too chose from now days, becomes extremely confusing. The old saying is always true, if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it. 👍👍👍🎣🎣😁👏😎🍺🍺
Great video. Hello from Canada. I just love grubs. Some of the things I like about them are, they are way easier to acquire and keep in good condition opposed to live bait. They work on pretty much every species of fish, you can imitate anything a fish eats with them by changing the colour and how you fish them, you can fish it in almost every way, lots of people don’t throw them so fish are typically not used to seeing them. They work scented or unscented if you have allergies or going into restricted waters. And they are usually pretty dang cheap.
I've never seen anybody do this for largemouth. I did it for crappie in my early teens. Good idea. I always like trying something different than everyone else out on the lake.
Back to the basics. Basics work. Hitting Lopez Sun 4/30. First time. This video has inspired me as what to throw. Thank you!

Simple still and always will work. I started swimming grubs with a split shot or two in the 70s. Good stuff.
One of my secret baits for big spotted bass waters. Works even better in winter.

from powell to loomis , shimano to now ritual angling and diawa , guy would promote slinging a turd if you paid him, no matter what brand ..
It’s all money. I’m a shimano and a Daiwa guy but Shimano is a better reel. And ritual doesn’t even touch Loomis
You’re tired Linter. Put it all down and go home-just go home. Jesus.
