I think the best part of this episode for me is how, throughout the original game, characters would say things like, "It's been hard for Sunny too," "We don't know what he's been through." Sunny never shared his experience of how he coped with Mari's death, so everyone has little to no clue about Omori, Headspace, Black Space, or the effort it took for Sunny to decide to live with the guilt forever instead of Oyasumi-ing himself. In this episode, everyone gets to start understanding exactly what he went through. This really isn't even the worst of Sunny's hallucinations or intrusive thoughts and he dealt with every single one one of them alone, unlike them(excluding Basil). They don't really even know how hard it was for Sunny to go down the stairs in his own house.
I absolutely agree now... They just don't know what was Sunny going through... But for what cost?? They are now trapped in the Black Space and not possible to be back to Real Life, unless OMORI allowed them to... I just wish they are OK after then, and they can also meet Sunny in Real Life not remembering them again...

When Aubrey saw the vision of herself and Sunny as kids, I thought it was just in her head as she looked at two random kids confessing to each other, and the same went for all of the good memories. But then, when the Hooligans all said they saw Sunny standing by the road and all saw the same thing, then I realized there was some supernatural shit going on-and it only escalated from there. Certainly not what I was expecting, but I'm still excited to see where this goes. Looking forward to part 4 when it's ready!
I like the idea that Omori is a separate entity that takes care of Sunny's mind and everything instead of being the embodiment of everything wrong with Sunny like he is in canon
He's not just that in canon though. He's more like AUTO from Wall-E. An entity with a more limited understanding than the protagonist, driven to fulfill a mission tied to preserving an unsustainable status quo with no real capacity to reconsider. When an outside influence threatens their mission, they turn to violence and persecution to prevent the goal behind their mission from happening. As time passes, they gradually gain influence on the world (AUTO creeps closer to the front of the Captain's portraits, OMORI becomes more manipulative) until the one they were meant to assist asserts his independance and shuts them down. The difference is that AUTO was always like he is 700 years into the cruise, while OMORI started out as a bare-bones suit of armor (told in STRANGER dialogue) that gradually became more autonomous as SUNNY fell to BS quicker and quicker. I love using the example of an AGI for OMORI as I think it captures his character well. I just wish more fics would portray him like that, instead of suddenly becoming very diplomatic and forgetting the mission as soon as the fic starts. I guess he's kind of like The Batter, too, but more like AUTO.

I recommend sky the children of light, it has cross platform's on pc, Nintendo switch, and Mobile, it's really calming if you just ignore the accessories (but it's optional) and puzzles that are very rewarding that gives each stage like a brand new start. And it's online so you can interact with other players, so basically to summarize this all up its a beautiful vrchat type game. More of a zelda meets candles type of game.

OMG JUST FINISHED THE EPISODE. THIS WAS AMAZING!!! IT WAS A DAMN ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS. At first I was going to cry, then halfway through the episode I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT. It just kept getting crazier and more intense. AND TO END IT ON SUCH A CLIFFHANGER.....😭 You did an INCREDIBLE job with the way you took this story!! I can't wait to see where it's headed! 🤩
Actually, cliffhangers are the best ways to end an episode! It keeps you hyped and motivated to watch more, and makes you think "Damn, I wonder what happens in the next episode!"

You know, i wish that white space Mari(the one who bids goodbye to Omori in headspace bridge) would appear in episode 4(3/3) or later so that everyone (except hooligans) could see Sunny's big sister one last time. As for hooligans, they can get answers about Aurbey's past.
Hooooolllyy. This is good. Everyone is in black space now! The fact that they were seeing memories and weird hallucinations is otherworldly already but entering his mind??? Amazing. I wonder if Omori was the one causing all of this on purpose or if it really just somehow spilled out of his mind affected everyone involved. I wouldn’t put it past Omori to do it on purpose without telling Sunny, just hoping that maybe, just maybe, he can properly save sunny from himself by using his friends. I can’t be sure, but it seems like Omori is stalling (other than not seeing the bad memories since it will probably make Sunny blame himself, the opposite of what Omori would want right then) by playing cards with Jawsum rather than yeeting the memories right away. Anyways, this was so cool!
I LOVE IT! I love everything about it, and I love how it's exploring the "supernatural" and "insane" side of the game. In the game it left clues that Sunny's imaginary and crazy world was related in some way to the real world and that sometimes others could perceive things that Sunny should be the only one to see due to his madness. Plus it's a good way for others to realize what Sunny has been doing to himself these 4 years. But I worry about Basil, he also had his own demons, I hope this doesn't wake them up again. And I'm also worried about Sunny's intention to go back to her mother, I think it wouldn't be healthy to go back to her, and that he doesn't realize the damage that she did him with her neglect worries me a lot. I can't wait to see the group explore Sunny's imaginary world, both its wonders and horrors.

Out of all the things I was expecting from this episode, it was not this... 1. How did you make this (30 mins btw wtf) in only a month, it’s too fast for this amazing quality art 2. The plot! I was expecting sunny to wake up and just forget everyone, or a time skip four years again where then he forgot. The plot this episode is drawn out in the most entertaining way it could be 3. Everyone, even the new extra is hallucinating? And now they’re in black space, sharing each other’s thoughts? It’s almost like paths. I don’t understand how this is happening, because it is physically impossible. At this point, omori is not just a figure representing sunny’s deepest inner mind and wishes to be somebody else, he is actually affecting other real people as well. He is dragging them into somebody else’s mind. Literally. And how can you just choose to forget? Would be convenient, in a tragic way. Bs, but also incredibly interesting. Much more enjoyable than if sunny did just forget, wakes up, and moves away. If that happened, basil might commit neutral ending again anyways. It’s unfortunate to me that this is happening though, still - for the story in general. If they’re all legitimately sharing thoughts, seeing black space because sunny and omori are reminiscing through bad memories, it’s not anything that could happen because of their own experiences. They would have no clue this existed, they were dragged into this. I am curious will the story will go with this, bc I don’t see a realistic way out. You certainly caught me off guard here. Staying tuned for more. 4. I didn’t collect before why there was blood on the sheet music, and chopped fingers in the truth. How sunny was playing the violin in this episode until his fingers bled, that helped me connect these two. He hated playing the violin not just because it was becoming a chore that took away from his free time, but because mari was making him practice so much that his fingers bled. The chopped fingers were a representation of sunny’s physical pain... I think? These are just thoughts running through my head rn. Thanks for staying dedicated/sorry for the essay!

It frustrates me that Hero is still mad. He should at least understand that it was an accident, he didn't mean for it to happen. And while Mari might have been his first love interest, and I can't imagine the pain he must have been in, but Sunny lost his sister. The person he could go to that would always be there for him and care for him unlike any lover or friend could. How would he feel knowing he's the reason his own sister is dead? The pain of someone grieving over their sibling is undeniably different from a grieving a lover. And when everyone left each other because of Maris death, I bet everyone was so worked up over themselves they didn't realise Sunny probably needed them the most. Never even thought for a moment to say "hang on a minute. Are you OK Sunny?" or "do you want to talk to us. I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now." But instead they all hate him for killing Mari. He was pushed over the edge enough for him to feel as if he needed to create himself a false reality where everything was fine and it was the way it was before. A little rant but I desperately felt this needed to be said. Thx for coming to my Ted Talk
Y’know, I was legit mad at seeing Aubrey and the Hooligans and Hero’s treatment of Sunny - I definitely understand though - and seeing them going through literally everything Sunny has gone through and felt kinda feels like catharsis. Even though I get their reactions, it doesn’t make it any less wrong and it’s worsening the situation. I hope this will be their wake up call.

I have question how were they able to see from sunny's perspective is this the cause of sunny from his memories of good ones causing the good memory to turn into sunny nightmares, if so then how could they hallucinate like sunny but without the trauma of mari's death could this have something to do with the memories they had with sunny causing to untangle a mystery with sunny's memories like the deep iceberg of a memory
Everything about this episode was amazing! I was quite literally on the edge of my seat! This was an emotional roller coaster of an episode and I loved every second of it! Especially the ending with everyone suddenly ending up in Black Space! Amazing work as always! The animations were top notch, everything in this episode is perfect! ❤️
Honestly, even though I don't think the canon Omori story would allow such supernatural elements, this is so interesting that I don't care. Can't wait for part 4

Skl, I just wanna leave a theory about how they got to black space(because I wanna get it off my chest XD). Theory is that the reason they were sent to black space was because Mari will not be able to reach Sunny (cuz he said "Sorry Mari, your thoughts won't follow me into my dreams anymore" stuff). Mari maybe thought that sending them to help reach out to Sunny, and black space is the only headspace where Mari can reach(because idk, she's one of the happy memories that needed to be sealed off and couldn't access the dream world?). Plus, it seems that "Sunny" and Omori didn't expect people in black space, so I assumed that they weren't sent to black space(intentionally) by them, unless Sunny unconsciously did it? Tldr: Mari sent them in hopes that they could reach out to Sunny in her place. Idk. It's just a theory....
Minor complaint, whenever Hero speaks, it's hard to read his captions since the black background and dark blue text blend together. I'd recommend adding a white outline, but that's just me.

Ok that entire scare haunting sequence was a cinematic masterpiece or at least the story standpoint of it was it was the best scene yet and I’m sure there are better ones to come keep up the amazing work
Something I particularly like about this- these events seem super fanfic esque at first glance, Omori being a game that is, somewhat ironically, generally grounded in reality, just through the eyes of a kid with extreme PTSD who is very detached from reality throughout basically all of the game, but if you think about it, there is precedence for these happenings if you look deeper into it. For an unknown reason, in a game that tries very hard to separate reality from fantasy by merging them, but only in the eyes of the player, the player isn't the only who sees it. Sunny sees Basil's something, and Basil sees his. It seems that somehow in this world, people closely related to the events/know what happened are starting to see Sunny's dreams- at first- but as Sunny gets deeper in and the situation gets shakier it gets worse, where even being near a place of importance to the events can cause you to see it. It's a good concept for something like this, I'm looking forward to the way you take it.

OMG JUST FINISHED THE EPISODE. THIS WAS AMAZING!!! IT WAS A DAMN ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS. At first I was going to cry, then halfway through the episode I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT. It just kept getting crazier and more intense. AND TO END IT ON SUCH A CLIFFHANGER.....😭

Actually, cliffhangers are the best ways to end an episode! It keeps you hyped and motivated to watch more, and makes you think "Damn, I wonder what happens in the next episode!"

You know, i wish that white space Mari(the one who bids goodbye to Omori in headspace bridge) would appear in episode 4(3/3) or later so that everyone (except hooligans) could see Sunny's big sister one last time. As for hooligans, they can get answers about Aurbey's past.
Hooooolllyy. This is good. Everyone is in black space now! The fact that they were seeing memories and weird hallucinations is otherworldly already but entering his mind??? Amazing. I wonder if Omori was the one causing all of this on purpose or if it really just somehow spilled out of his mind affected everyone involved. I wouldn’t put it past Omori to do it on purpose without telling Sunny, just hoping that maybe, just maybe, he can properly save sunny from himself by using his friends. I can’t be sure, but it seems like Omori is stalling (other than not seeing the bad memories since it will probably make Sunny blame himself, the opposite of what Omori would want right then) by playing cards with Jawsum rather than yeeting the memories right away. Anyways, this was so cool!
I vote that they were hunted by Mari, but I can be wrong.
That was much faster than I was expecting. My excitement is immeasurable at this point and I won’t even be able to be there for the premiere.

I LOVE IT!
I love everything about it, and I love how it's exploring the "supernatural" and "insane" side of the game.
In the game it left clues that Sunny's imaginary and crazy world was related in some way to the real world and that sometimes others could perceive things that Sunny should be the only one to see due to his madness.
Plus it's a good way for others to realize what Sunny has been doing to himself these 4 years.
But I worry about Basil, he also had his own demons, I hope this doesn't wake them up again.
And I'm also worried about Sunny's intention to go back to her mother, I think it wouldn't be healthy to go back to her, and that he doesn't realize the damage that she did him with her neglect worries me a lot.
I can't wait to see the group explore Sunny's imaginary world, both its wonders and horrors.
26:24 was when I felt my heart drop. The way Sunny is just... there, and what he said, along with him dripping what I think is blood, it felt wrong yet completely natural. While I had goosebumps for all the video, that is the part that marked me

Out of all the things I was expecting from this episode, it was not this...
1. How did you make this (30 mins btw wtf) in only a month, it’s too fast for this amazing quality art
2. The plot! I was expecting sunny to wake up and just forget everyone, or a time skip four years again where then he forgot. The plot this episode is drawn out in the most entertaining way it could be
3. Everyone, even the new extra is hallucinating? And now they’re in black space, sharing each other’s thoughts? It’s almost like paths. I don’t understand how this is happening, because it is physically impossible. At this point, omori is not just a figure representing sunny’s deepest inner mind and wishes to be somebody else, he is actually affecting other real people as well. He is dragging them into somebody else’s mind. Literally. And how can you just choose to forget? Would be convenient, in a tragic way. Bs, but also incredibly interesting. Much more enjoyable than if sunny did just forget, wakes up, and moves away. If that happened, basil might commit neutral ending again anyways. It’s unfortunate to me that this is happening though, still - for the story in general. If they’re all legitimately sharing thoughts, seeing black space because sunny and omori are reminiscing through bad memories, it’s not anything that could happen because of their own experiences. They would have no clue this existed, they were dragged into this. I am curious will the story will go with this, bc I don’t see a realistic way out. You certainly caught me off guard here. Staying tuned for more.
4. I didn’t collect before why there was blood on the sheet music, and chopped fingers in the truth. How sunny was playing the violin in this episode until his fingers bled, that helped me connect these two. He hated playing the violin not just because it was becoming a chore that took away from his free time, but because mari was making him practice so much that his fingers bled. The chopped fingers were a representation of sunny’s physical pain... I think?
These are just thoughts running through my head rn. Thanks for staying dedicated/sorry for the essay!

It frustrates me that Hero is still mad. He should at least understand that it was an accident, he didn't mean for it to happen. And while Mari might have been his first love interest, and I can't imagine the pain he must have been in, but Sunny lost his sister. The person he could go to that would always be there for him and care for him unlike any lover or friend could. How would he feel knowing he's the reason his own sister is dead? The pain of someone grieving over their sibling is undeniably different from a grieving a lover. And when everyone left each other because of Maris death, I bet everyone was so worked up over themselves they didn't realise Sunny probably needed them the most. Never even thought for a moment to say "hang on a minute. Are you OK Sunny?" or "do you want to talk to us. I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now." But instead they all hate him for killing Mari. He was pushed over the edge enough for him to feel as if he needed to create himself a false reality where everything was fine and it was the way it was before. A little rant but I desperately felt this needed to be said. Thx for coming to my Ted Talk

Y’know, I was legit mad at seeing Aubrey and the Hooligans and Hero’s treatment of Sunny - I definitely understand though - and seeing them going through literally everything Sunny has gone through and felt kinda feels like catharsis. Even though I get their reactions, it doesn’t make it any less wrong and it’s worsening the situation. I hope this will be their wake up call.
I wonder what if sunny forgets everything but he wakes up before remembering so he sees his friends but has no idea who they are

I have question how were they able to see from sunny's perspective is this the cause of sunny from his memories of good ones causing the good memory to turn into sunny nightmares, if so then how could they hallucinate like sunny but without the trauma of mari's death could this have something to do with the memories they had with sunny causing to untangle a mystery with sunny's memories like the deep iceberg of a memory
Everything about this episode was amazing! I was quite literally on the edge of my seat! This was an emotional roller coaster of an episode and I loved every second of it! Especially the ending with everyone suddenly ending up in Black Space!

Need I say, this episode was quite literally a rollercoaster.
Skl, I just wanna leave a theory about how they got to black space(because I wanna get it off my chest XD). Theory is that the reason they were sent to black space was because Mari will not be able to reach Sunny (cuz he said "Sorry Mari, your thoughts won't follow me into my dreams anymore" stuff). Mari maybe thought that sending them to help reach out to Sunny, and black space is the only headspace where Mari can reach(because idk, she's one of the happy memories that needed to be sealed off and couldn't access the dream world?). Plus, it seems that "Sunny" and Omori didn't expect people in black space, so I assumed that they weren't sent to black space(intentionally) by them, unless Sunny unconsciously did it?
Tldr: Mari sent them in hopes that they could reach out to Sunny in her place. Idk. It's just a theory....

Minor complaint, whenever Hero speaks, it's hard to read his captions since the black background and dark blue text blend together. I'd recommend adding a white outline, but that's just me.

Ok that entire scare haunting sequence was a cinematic masterpiece or at least the story standpoint of it was it was the best scene yet and I’m sure there are better ones to come keep up the amazing work
Something I particularly like about this- these events seem super fanfic esque at first glance, Omori being a game that is, somewhat ironically, generally grounded in reality, just through the eyes of a kid with extreme PTSD who is very detached from reality throughout basically all of the game, but if you think about it, there is precedence for these happenings if you look deeper into it. For an unknown reason, in a game that tries very hard to separate reality from fantasy by merging them, but only in the eyes of the player, the player isn't the only who sees it. Sunny sees Basil's something, and Basil sees his. It seems that somehow in this world, people closely related to the events/know what happened are starting to see Sunny's dreams- at first- but as Sunny gets deeper in and the situation gets shakier it gets worse, where even being near a place of importance to the events can cause you to see it. It's a good concept for something like this, I'm looking forward to the way you take it.

Ye,and in the ending of the Hikikomori route,it is shown that Omori is powerful enough to erase Sunny from his mind completely and take over Sunny's body
