Got lucky, actually came out better with 1 whole percent less along with 1 year shaved off the loan. But it was something I will be very careful of again in the future. Will not let my excitement trust these guys again.
thanks just wish I had better weather year round, should come around holidays... over next year ill see what everyone is doing im always down for a long ride to travel. ill stay in touch. hope all is well.
Hey man thanks for this video! I'm so happy I found a Ryker rider from GA. I'm currently in the process of buying one, already got approved for financing. I went to Roswell location twice already and one time to Buford location. I see what you mean. This video summarizes pretty much what I noticed too. Is there anyway I can connect with you via phone or another platform to ask questions? I would really appreciate your thoughts. I'm not sure how to message on RUclips. Thanks!
There's nothing more I hate than shitty service. I just bought a RT limited December 5th 2020 & I'm dreading taking it back to the service department @ Tulsa power sports. I haven't heard anything bad mind you, but have heard horror stories about can-am service centers. Glad you got the financial part taking care of bro.👍
I have bought a Spyder and a Ryker and had problems with both dealers. I think part of it is there really are no Can Am dealers, they are just added on to other brands that they specialize in. At least where I live the dealers specialize more in ATV's and snowmobiles. None of the salesman could answer my questions, it was really sad that I knew more about their products than they do. I just bought a Ryker and was all set to pick it up the next day. The bike was filthy, they only had one key and they never bothered to put the license plate on. These may not be big things, but it really puts a bad taste in your mouth when you are dealing with bullshit like that instead of out enjoying your first ride. To anyone else reading this - if you find a good dealer, stick with them because they are really hard to find!
I agree with you on the dealer network. We have 1 here that is specifically only a CanAm and Seado dealer. The rest of the dealers have like 10 other brands with CanAm being one of them. Can Am needs to do a better job in training their dealers.
I would go to the Marietta store and ask for Ivan he is a top guy there and let him know that Zia sent you who had the BMW f800gt and recently bought a Ryker from Roswell but was supposed to be from you.
Knight ryker hi. I believe I have tbe same issue with my Handlebars I find my self adjusting. Any advice and can I go to any dealership that service ryker?
Yea you should be able to go and let them know this is a safety concern and should be under warranty. They will probably change the bolt that holds the handlebar assembly in place like they did mine and I havent had any issues.
This screwing customers in % rate when they type papers is rampant in auto industry in USA. Other trend is to give you a guilt trip by picking your whatever personal information they gather from you and from general small talk you have with them. Also, never trade in your vehicle with dealer unless they put it in the writing.
Pretty sure I mentioned Rally in the vid, if not then my bad. The wheels should give it away though. If you are on the fence I would get the rally. If you are on the fence between ryker and a spyder then go Spyder.
@@bettysmith4527 yeah I got the rally back in 2020 so I did get lucky. The new ones are hiked up I heard but don't they have a couple of extra options? Cruise control was very important to me on my next bike.
U busted them in some trickery and so they tried to play honest innocence. Screw that, if u had not caught it in time they would have nevr mumbled a word. I would have mentioned their names and posted their pictures.
When you have pre-approved financing the price and fees magically jump. When you go with their financing the interest magically jumps. All dealers work to rip off the consumer.
@@MrRicco39 best to watch a video on it but in a few short words the difference is the wheels, suspension, seat, and the rally comes with a few more standard accessories. In my opinion a bit more comfortable.
I had the distinct pleasure last year getting the use of a ryker last year and although it’ll never be the same as my original bsa rocket 3 but as I’m for some unknown reason I’m getting unsteady on my feet it makes for a few explanations Ono I’m not drunk, yes I’m allowed to ride a motorcycle and no I don’t have Parkinson’s and so in that regard il still be able to stay free and ride with the wind in what’s left of my hair
I think it's great that Can Am has these 3 wheelers in the market, especially affordable ones so most of us can enjoy the open air feeling like you said. I believe I will be on a spyder in the next 5 to 6 years just so my wife can have peace of mind vs 2 wheels now.
I hate dealer experience and I tell everyone to buy the ryker bone dry. Do not finance accessories. You can buy accessories after you have slingmods and every ryker option sold at dealer can all be found at Amazon. Dealers are a f-in rip off
Ya I agree with you. I purchased the accessories for the same price but should not finance them. I will probably make extra payments to pay off the loan with less interest.
OH, they weren't having amnesia or making a mistake, they were trying to screw you over!! Typical dealership! I would be writing some seriously bad reviews on this dealership, honestly! And you shouldn't be buying what is essentially a toy if you need to finance it for that long, cash or finance for two years maximum, this scares me that someone is willing to finance a toy for 72 months, let alone 84!!
@@RideAboutNow glad to hear, not trying to judge, but just sharing my experience when I was dumb too taking on expensive car loans that I should not have. Overall are you satisfied with the bike?
@@bettysmith4527 I was satisfied yes. The rally has a more comfortable seat and better suspension than the ace. But I would find a nice used F3 spyder instead to be honest. I sold the ryker last year. If I could I would buy the spyder to replace it but they were too expensive by the time 2021 rolled in.
I’m a former salesman and I was glad you told us about your experience.
Thank you. I probably would not have made videos about it if it wasn't for the shaky start.
None of this was a mistake, this is the way dealerships conduct their business.
It is sad isn't it.
I agree, they were trying to get you and hoping you didn’t catch it!
Idk if this is a coincidence 3yrs later but we are looking to purchase from this particular dealer this year. Now I'm second guessing it.
Hopefully there are new, better people there.
you got a good dose of Bait and Switch........this is why I hate doing business with ANY Dealership....glad ya got it fixed😎
For sure, I'm happy I was able to get it fixed. Lesson learned and did not repeat that mistake again.
I bought a 2019 Riker also and I could’ve made the same jelly spoon mistake. so I feel for you bro but you ended up with an OK deal🤷🏻♂️

Nice!!! Hope all goes well and you can get on the saddle soon.

that was not a mistake ,the extra interest goes back to the dealer . you just caught them .
I got lucky. But man the next bike I purchased I was super ready.
Also the handlebar thing BRP has a "update" out for that issue. 2019> bikes
Dave L. Ya I think they swapped my whole assembly when my bike went in.

My Ryker rally has some noises in the right wheel when running, I brought it to dealer they can’t fix it anyone know what the problem is? Thanks
I haven't heard of any such noises, would be interestedto know what you find. My brakes used to squeak all the time but that's about it.

You could have just kept the original loan and paid an extra $15.00 a month on. You would pay it off a year early and be at the lower interest rate.
I will do that on the next one. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah that’s a shame. But good for you that you found another dealership that has better service.
Yeah there’s no need to chase behind people when you have the money in had cash to pay for it. If anything they should be chasing me🤣🤣

Selling price is 12,500 out the door for me.
