Thank you, great video. Greetings from Bulverde area.
Me too I’m originally from Bandera Anderwald family ❤
My ol' great (X3) granddaddy may have "killed" Helena, but he was also known as a benefactor of some Polish & Silesian settlements in and around Karnes County.
My great great grandparents and great grandparents are buried in Helena.
That’s my family too. We might be kinfolk. lol
@@beaubutler2464 You're probably right - my side of the family was Newton Butler & my grandpa was Norman (Normie) Butler
@@johnbutler-gm8pv my grandfather was Emery Hall Butler he lived Choate ,Tx. He’s whole life. Just outside of Kenedy.
It was awesome to see my old high school teacher Mrs. Reeves!!! 🤗🤗
Excellent episode! Love small town Texas 😁
Amazing😍thank you 💪
🤠
What a great video. Glad to seen a new video drop today. Lots of interesting history and you sure make your videos fun.
More to come!
I live in this area, and I just learned some things from you. Really cool episode, man!
Thanks for watching!
We just went to headquarters! I love your store although you were out of my size on my favorite shirts. Just means I will have to come back!!! What a neat place! Tenaj is a sweetheart
Bout time, took way to long for another episode.
Ok Chet & Daniel, in the next podcast can you tell us your top 5 state parks in Texas?
I've driven by Karnes (not to be confused with carnes(spanish for meat)). Thanks for the history. I'll be sure to stop to take a picture of the courthouse.
I am a Pole living in Texas and visited Panna Maria. I met with a few of the folks from Bandera at the airport in Frankfurt flying to Krakow. Its just sad to see that the Poles did not make as big of an influence in Texas as they made in Central Canada ( Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario).
It is interesting to see how the Polish food has evolved in Texas. I cry at how they eat and what they eat haha. Syrup? Blasphemy!
I was born there and lived there untill 8 grade
say hi to the Binghams just south of panna Maria
Hi Amy!!!!!😮
👋🏼
What kinda video is this about Polish food in a Polish town and not a SINGLE PIEROGI shown!?? A travesty Day Tripper! lol 🥟🇵🇱
Forgot to show the jerky... although the old generation made the jerky better, it's still good.
It’s a registered painted church of Texas as well
Do Fayette county
did they tell you about how many people carry the sir name of the original priest of that church
Had no idea about Karnes County. Like German emigrants, most Poles probably less than enthusiastic about being conscripted into defending slavery.
So is this DEI?? Is it harmful?? Giving citizenship to babies born on US soil?
Why are you bringing politics into a video that isn’t about politics? Maybe go to a political channel instead
Loosen up your red hat boy.
Some of my family came to Galveston in 1854 and came to Bandera via Carnes county and had to have a certain amount of gold coin to get here…,,❤
Kangaroos use their tail as a fifth leg
