he pitched his last game with the cubs. hes on a 33 scoreless inning streak and the cubs dont want to take a chance at ruining the streak. with the streak at 33 innings, its the best that the cubs will get offered for him
well he has said that he wants to stay in chicago. but right now he is their best pitcher and unless they can get a couple of young players they know will be good or already are good and not just guessing. they shouldnt trade him
He is good this year.....the cubs are in rebuilding mode....they would be dumb enough not to trade him. He is an awesome guy but if the cubs can get pieces for the future...they need to do it. Isnt he a UFA at the end of the season? IF he is, than they need to do it because he is going to get paid a some good money.
Dempster is a good guy and was a good Cub. But his impersonation of Harry Caray is HORRIBLE. He has to let it go. Not even close to resembling Harry Cary.
