I’m with Reddit with Yo-yo and Mirror being favorites. Yo-yo is just radical, very fluid, has good range and you get decent vertical attacks. As for Mirror it’s definitely a defensive power, but dash attack where Kirby splits in half can keep you moving.
My personal favorite abilities are Fighter and Sword. Now, I know what you’re thinking. They feel fast paced and versatile. At the same time, I find Bell satisfying to use.

IMO Wheel could be a really fun ability in a future title now it's no longer restricted to a 2d platform that can only be useful in levels designed for it. ....Also if they continue with the 3 levels of abilities in future titles, I can imagine the level 3 of Wheel being a monster truck wheel.

In the original Superstar game the attack where you spawn a wall of mirrors that damage enemies turns Kirby’s hitbox into a 1x1 pixel area so you’re basically invincible. In Superstar Ultra the same attack an infinite slower enemies like Bonkers, Bugzy, Dedede into long stretches where they can’t attack because they go for slower attacks at close range that keep getting interrupted by the attack. Then in Robobot his dash attacks have invincibility a good portion of the time. On top of all those exploits Mirror is just easy and fun to use; especially because the projectiles can not only go through walls and elevations, but reflect projectiles which keeps enemies from pulling cheap nonsense on you. It’s the ultimate “nuh-uh” ability.

Beetle is just objectively the best ability in the series. Combines being really fun, and being absolutely busted.
