Small wheel bicycles deserve a revival in our urban centres. They are apartment friendly, and alot easier to haul up stairs or around street furniture. They have none of the compromises of folding bikes but all of their nimble steering and shop friendly form factor (most supermarkets and smaller malls here in Australia have no issues with them inside).
Awesome build! What hubs did you end up using? I'm going to lace some BMX rims I have up, but it's hard to find 130mm 6 bolt disc quick release hubs (who would have though lol).
Hey man, sick build, loved the video! If you don't mind, could I ask you your height and inseam, and how the bike fits you? I'm debating between the small and large Neutrino myself, very on the fence as I feel I'm in between sizes at 5'7"
Sure thing, I’m also 5’7 and inseam I’d say between 30-32”. I was also in this same pickle as you in between bike sizes. It’s a little compact but adding the 90mm stem helped a lot and fits like a glove. I’ve been riding it everyday for quite sometime now, it has been such a blast and don’t feel any regret getting the small. By any means it is a slow but zippy bike that can accelerate pretty quickly. i also went for the small because that was the only size they had at the time and it worked out.
Great built! I'm just not a big fan of the Altus-Deraillieur, it doesn't look so good. If staying on the cheaper side I'd recommend the Shimano Claris-RD, which would look IMHO much more classy on this bike.

Enjoyed the video, thanks! Where'd you get the grease dispenser?
Thanks! The grease gun is from Park TooL!
Came out real nice! I have a vision in my head of a crazy minivelo bike but I would need a custom frame :(

Thank you! Rear hubs are by Velo Orange, it converts to either QR or Thru Axle! They sound nice too!!!
Перед сборкой шатунов системы звёзд, посадочные места квадратной каретки неплохо было бы смазать. И педали также.
How could you put the front derailleur on it? I want to get it with my road bike component.
you would need a front derailleur with the right sized clamp
I truly want to buy one now, but they are pretty expensive especially with the components that I want to build it with

Super nice. Are you still making framebags?
Thanks! I am currently backed up for frame bags so it'll be awhile until I can catch up.
Is this available in Canada?
I'm sure they ship to Canada! Maybe a bike shop in Canada can order one for ya to build up!
What brand of pipe cutter did you use? And model if possible 🤞🤞
I think it’s a simple Kobalt pipe cutter 👍🏽

Thanks! Claris derailleurs are a great alternative! I just loved the big pulley on the altus’
awesome!
Thank you!

Those VeloOrange 2 bolt bar clamps are horrible. Otherwise, nice build.
Такой обвес на такую раму.. Лол. Она создана для SS, либо планетарки.
