"They'll race each other clean, and that's what's fun." 20 lap battle, and very clearly no intention of moving the guy in front to win. I like that.

Out of all of his wins this one was my favorite. It was soo good to see him get back in victory lane after years and years of waiting.

Harvick doesn't blow up in this race, he probably wins the 2006 championship.

Can’t believe Kenseth lost the championship that year because Robbie ran him out of gas. Brutal finish to a fantastic year.

Matt Kenneth and Jeff burton have had some awesome battles for the win, this race and the Texas 2007 race was awesome! burton with a faster by just a smidge over Kenseth who is running high line making it difficult for burton in the low line

My first NASCAR race live!!! I remember I slept during laps 140-230 and the rest of the race I enjoyed it! The worst part of that day was the storm after the race that scared the hell out of me

Robby Gordon was an absolute menace in 2006. Was involved in over 18 incidents in 2006, and like a dozen of them were self spins.

The final laps of this race should be mandatory viewing for every young racer in bandaleros or late models. You can race hard while respecting the guy you're racing. Two class acts giving 100% without wrecking each other.

I really liked that RCR segment at the beginning. It's a shame they've gone back to being mediocre. Childress is a great guy.

If there were ever two appropriate songs to use in the following week's cold-open highlight reel, it would have been either:
    "Wheels" - Foo Fighters
    or
    "Fine Line" - Paul McCartney

This win also moved Jeff Burton from fifth to first in the point standings, leading by 6 points over Jeff Gordon. This was the first time Jeff Burton had led the points on any week since his career best 1999 season, driving the #99 for Roush Racing. He would hold on to the top spot for the next three weeks, but ultimately finish 7th in the 2006 standings.

If Harvick doesn’t lose an engine, Kenseth doesn’t run out of gas, and Dale Jr doesn’t have tire issues, the points battle at Homestead would have been insane

5:25 It's funny how these allegations came to light back then but were denied by NASCAR when RCR was caught and penalized for doing the same thing nine years later. You have to wonder what was going on the whole time.
