I watched the 2017 Night Race last week. And it sucked. The racing sucked, the TV coverage sucked. This broadcast is fresh, funny at times and enjoyable. NBC sucks now.
@@thepspman116 Yeah, I liked him at first. Kenseth was my favorite. I was supposed to hate Jr because I was a Kenseth fan, but I didn't. I liked Jr, too. I don't know what it was about, but Matt was leaning against a concrete wall talking to someone and Carl walked by and said something. Matt replied back and Carl rushed at him and threw a fake punch and then laughed until he saw he was on camera. It was a real dick move. Kenseth left Roush because Jack was putting all his backing behind Edward's and Biffle. Matt felt under appreciated and left. Then a couple of years later, here comes Carl and all of a sudden he was Matt's buddy. That's my take anyway, the way I saw it. I could be wrong.
Those stands were so full for the Bristol night races now there are empty seats when this very race was a hard ticket to get and always sold out. The spring race is just a total ghost town. Perfect description of NASCAR today.
