I reasoned that it's unlikely/impossible that each sqrt term could produce decimals that perfectly produced an integer of 7. So for that reason I assumed each sqrt term produced an integer. There's only 3 integer sums that make 7 (excluding zeros) and x=8 was quickly found by inspection
