Hi kuga! My son loves watching/riding the train too. We have a upcoming trip to Japan on march 10-16. So I'm planning to ride the train from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji where he can see those trains with Thomas and friends. I watched your video. I have a few questions if ok with you? Thank you
When you come to Europe Edinburgh is incredible. Every person I’ve met through backpacking that I’ve sent there has loved it so much they have stayed longer than intended. If you decide to travel to Scotland let me know and I’ll give you some tips. 😊
Nice

Thomas and friends 😍
Man kann von der japanischen Eisenbahn nicht genug bekommen. Schöne saubere und pünktliche Züge.
I remember in the 70’s on a clear sunny day, I could see Mt. Fuji from Tokyo.
Japan has such good looking trains, really well designed.
Nice train ride going direct from Tokyo to Mt Fuji by train. Amazing view along the way. Tnx4sharing. Watching from DUBAI
Thank you Kuga for letting us see Mt. Fuji
Mount Fuji really is special! The Spirit of the mountain grows with the love from generations of Japanese and visitors from overseas.
Bashô:
in the misty rain
Mount Fuji is veiled all day -
how intriguing!
Bernina Express is such an amazing trip
Go to Slovenia, highly recommended beautiful sceneries, food is amazing and ppl are very friendly over 95% population speak fluently english as well other languages.
I live very close to the Canadian Rocky Mountains 🇨🇦 and can certainly appreciate your love of Mt. Fuji. The magesty of the mountain is breathtaking for sure. Thanks for sharing your visit! ❤
Not so wise if you can't spell Majesty.
Dear Kuga-san, when you come to Europe a must is the Glacier Express in Switzerland, this Train ride ist From St. Moritz to Zermat a very scenic route. Also the two Trains mentioned before by users The Jungfraujoch Bahn From Interlaken to the Jungfrau (Top of Europe) and teh Bernina Express are very nice ones and a must du when you are in Europe. Also the is the GoldenPass Belle Epoque Zweisimmen-Montreux is very nice. Also the Voralpenexpress is very scenic. All this trains are included in the following bundle :Grand Train Tour of Switzerland . I live near Bern and will be also very honored to meet you if possible. Of course The Italian Bullet Trains, the German Bullet Trains and The French Bullet Trains are also very interesting, Have a nice Trip to Europe and enjoy the old Continent. Take care Regards Fabri
He needs not a small pocketmoney (Portemonnaie) for Switzerland.
I highly recommend that too, beautiful country
forget about Zermatt-St. Moritz, far too long, and partly very boring -go from Zürich to Chur (SBB), then RhB to St. Moritz (you pass Filisur-Bergün-Albula), one of the most interesting parts of RhB. and on another day St. Moritz-Bernina-Poschiavo-Brusio (you can get off there and walk 500m to watch other train pass very close) and return again from Brusio, or continue to Tirano and later with FS (Italian State Railways) to Milano
Seems he is there now 🤭
US $2,735: price of the Grand Train Tour of Switzerland.
I think I'll commit seppuku
It was all beautiful! 🤩 The lake, the mountain, the train. Thank You for the very nice video 😊👍🌷
You are doing a very good job at promoting Japan. Every video makes me want to visit Japan more and more!
頑張ってくれてありがとう!
Beautiful beautiful beautiful! How nice to be able to see Mount Fuji and to be able to take such beautiful trains, thank you very much for sharing Kuga, greetings from Chile and much success with the trip to Europe :)
Hello le Fuji c’est la chance. Nous avons eu une journée cette chance 💛🌟💛🌟💛🌟💛 Merci merci merci
Wow Mr. Kuga, Japan is such a beautiful country. I have always wanted to visit Japan. Right now it’s impossible for me in This point in my life. So once again I want to thank you for making these awesome videos and sharing the beauty with the rest of us! Sending much love from the United States!
Japan is a wonderful country with a unique culture, history, and natural scenery, and I hope that one day you will have the opportunity to experience it for yourself
Glacier express in Switzerland is a once in a lifetime experience absolutely beautiful amazing and breath taking highly recommend
So relaxing scenes 😌❤️
You’ve got a new FONT for the text today! Nice one 😄
I'm really looking forward to seeing your travels in Europe! There are so many must-dos in Europe when it comes to trains and I see a few of them mentioned already, so I'll mention some that are in my part of the world: If you're visiting London there is a sleeper train that runs up to the Scottish Highlands called the Caledonian Sleeper. I would highly recommend taking it all the way to the town of Fort William in the Scottish Highlands. From Fort William I would then recommend taking the Jacobite Steam train to the fishing village of Mallaig. The train is extremely popular with Harry Potter fans since it goes over the Glenfinnan Viaduct, so if it's fully booked I would still recommend taking the normal commuter train to Mallaig. Other good Scottish railway lines are Glasgow - Oban, and Inverness - Kyle of Lochalsh. Our trains are old-fashioned compared to most of those in Japan, but the scenery is breathtaking.
On my bucket list ;)
新宿から🗻直通列車…便利ですね👍️
日帰り旅行が楽しめますね✨
No matter the clouds you still got some amazing images. Thank you so much for all you do.
If you make it as far as the UK, Kuga-san, I think you'll enjoy the London Paddington-Penzance main line. It takes in the flat farmlands of Somerset, the lush rolling hills of Devon, the romantic, abandoned tin-mining landscape of Cornwall and the famous South Devon coastline panorama between Dawlish and Teignmouth. You'll cross from Devon into Cornwall on Brunel's iconic Royal Albert Bridge, ending your journey in picturesque Penzance, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. It's said to be one of the most scenic lines in the UK, and it lives up to its reputation!
Where is the bridge from the Hogwarts-Express?
@@Paul_MuadDib That's the Glenfinnan Viaduct, on the West Highland Line from Glasgow to Mallaig in Scotland.
@@christopherbonham527 Glenfinnan was the home from the Highlander, Connor McLeod, I think.
When you go to Europe you should take the Bernina express from Italy into Switzerland alps, or come to Australia and take the Ghan train
Come to Italy, there are many beautiful places to visit. In Veneto,Alto Adige,Liguria,Emilia-Romagna,Calabria,Sicilia....North and Sud, mountain and sea...we are everything😆
Wow! Everything about this journey that you've just shown us is amazing. This is absolutely my favourite way of traveling the world. Love it! : )
Hi Kuga,
For sure you’ll have fun if you come to Switzerland! You should go to Zermatt and try the special transfer train from Täsch to Zermatt (as Zermatt is car free) it’s fun to see because people can load directly their luggage and skis on a trolley. Up there, you’ll have fun with the Gornergrat Bahn or gondolas to get the best view on the Matterhorn.
Or, we even have special trains in which you can cook and enjoy your very own cheese fondue!
An other nice line is the MOB line which have some « belle époque » or scenic cars. And in my area, we have a lovely small museum which runs steam engines on selected dates, it a short trip but defenitely worth it!
Hendaia - Donostia - Bilbo - Bermeo (Hendaye - San-Sebastian - Bilbao - Bermeo), it's a unique 1000 mm gauge commuter electric railway in Basque Country, Spain, operated by Euskotren.
Not as comfortable as Japanese trains but a nice experience with great views (especially if train windows are clean, which doesn't happen often).
I love so much your videos ! very beautiful, veru serene, and very smooth. Blessings from France !
Wow just beautiful. Japan is such a beautiful country. Thank you for sharing that gorgeous video. ❤
Great video! Mt. Fuji and the lake area look stunning! Thank you for sharing your journey.
Mt. Fuji and the surrounding lake area are absolutely breathtaking! Mt. Fuji is one of Japan's most iconic and recognizable landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The surrounding area is also known for its stunning natural beauty, with several lakes offering amazing views of the mountain. If you ever have the chance to visit Japan, I highly recommend visiting this area to witness the stunning scenery in person.
Thank you for sharing! Lovely trains.
Love ❤️ this awesome video with amazing train ride plus great scenery of Mt Fuji 😊 Always impressed with Japan perfect service with perfect train condition. Thank u for sharing.
If you want a truly unique train ride, Start from Narvik, Norway to Gothenburg, Sweden. then take the Express Train to Oslo, Norway from there. From Oslo, you can take the Train to either Kristiansand, (Norway) or Stavanger (both in the southern part of Norway) to board a ferry to Hirtshals, Denmark. From here, take a train bound for Copenhagen (Denmark). you can train to anywhere in Europe from here, I would recommend this as it is one of the Northernmost stations in the world, and a truly unique way to see the Northernmost parts of Europe.
If you are interested in more details, you can send me a message.
this sounds sweet
I think yo could also reverse this travel, from Copenhagen to Narvik?
Thanks for sharing this video and information. Enjoyed watching and learning
I have traveled on the railway from Oslo to Bergen in Norway this months and can highly recommend it. The views on turquoise rivers, shining bright lakes, lush green forests and ice and snow in the highlands are priceless. :) From Bergen, ships go through the fjords in various directions, this is also a plus.
Thank you for sharing this with us. Beautiful scenery and train! I would love to visit one day soon.💖
A beautiful view & nice trains
Wonderful! When it comes to train travel, your videos are the first ones I check! Have a nice day Kuga-san!
Fabulous video, Kuga-san! Exactly what a travel video should be! Subscribed.
Thank you for showing us some nice photo spots for Mt. Fuji! I will try to take this train next time, it seems very convenient!
I hope to revisit Japan 🇯🇵 one day for I have never been back to Tokyo for more than 40 years. Shinjuku has changed so much. Just by looking back at the Shinjuku train station is totally unfamiliar to me now. Not only that but many places in and around Tokyo is unfamiliar to me.
Thank for your wonderful video, I enjoyed the ride!
Another very entertaining video, I learned many things about travel to Mt. Fuji from watching. Your trip to Europe sounds very exciting. Your fans will wait for your new vlogs describing your journey.
I feel like touring japan on a train watching your videos. Thank you and looking forward to more production from you. With best wishes.
So excited for you to travel to Europe at last! What happy days for you ahead!
If you will be going to UK, London, Birmingham, Manchester is good for transport & accomodation lots of artifacts, historical & futuristic places to visit, they are the main cities. Thanks for the journey share, mount Fugi is very popular & is talked about in the UK :)
Beautiful, thanks 🙏 for sharing.
Nice vlog. Beautiful Fuji Mt. I am seeing your vlog for the first time. Enjoyed watching the vlog, it was like I personally travelled. Beautiful place.
Stunning Mt.Fuji☁️🏔☁️💕
Thank you for sharing. Beautiful scenery.
Last visit Kawaguchi was in 2018.
I really recommend the Jungfrau Railway to Jungfrau Mountain in Switzerland - the views on the way are amazing and it is Europe's highest railway station - 3,453 meters above sea level. If you go let me know and we could go together!
Great video and the views amazing thank you
Nice video! Pretty view, even with the clouds. There is so much to do in Europe! I will enjoy where ever you want to capture on film🎬
Hello Kuga! So many great ideas have been already mentioned - so, as a “tourist” type of thing, you should make your way to Hamburg, Germany, and visit Miniatur Wunderland!! A very large model railroad layout, with great detail and a lot of fun!! Safe travels Sir!!
Thank you. watching this was good for me. Keep up the good work!🤟😊
Thanks for your lovely video from Queensland Australia
Go everywhere you can in Europe, can't wait to see what you discover. So happy for you and safe travel
Love it! Thanks
Thank you for the video!
Thank you for sharing this journey, my daughter and I are planning our trip to Japan early 2023 and likely staying around Shinjuku (again) so a trip to Mt Fuji will be planned with the assistance of this adventure.
I m looking to revisit Mt Fuji again. Went to the 5th station & was lovely. Nice experience.
The view from Shimoyoshida looking towards Mt Fuji with the pagoda to the right and the bullet train is absolutely iconic. The pagoda is a cenotaph honouring Japanese war dead. The park also contains a statue of the Meiji Emperor looking out towards My Fuji, and that iconic view is what the statue “sees”. (Yes, there really is a Shinkansen line that passes through: you have to walk under it coming from the train station.)
It’s much better in real life than one would think from this video and well worth the effort to get there. We went a few years ago during winter, which almost guarantees a clear view of the mountain and a perfect photograph.
Fujisan is both the Japanese name for Mt Fuji and the name of the town at its base. During the Edo period there was a massively popular cult of Mt Fuji (a true religious cult with Mt Fuji as the deity) and the town had a great many guest houses catering for pilgrims from all over Japan coming to climb the mountain as a spiritual exercise. Many of the guest houses are still in existence though often re-purposed. There is one which is a museum.
Lake Kawaguchi also provides very nice views of the mountain. There is a local bus that circumnavigates the lake.
Please come visit Finland! If you're coming here, definitely try the Lapland sleeper train!
I know it's more famous during the winter, but Lapland in the summer is also absolutely stunning.
We also have Swiss-style double-decker trains here, as well as Italian Pendolino trains in operation.
Fun fact about the double-deckers: they are (to my existing knowledge) the only trains in the world with a dedicated children's play area. :)
Has the sleepertrain a mixed Sauna on board?
@@Paul_MuadDib No, but the sleeper rooms on the top floor of the double-decker have a private shower :)
Trains from Oslo to Bodo in Norway also have children's play area, but they are not double decker.
Some swedish trains have play areas too
Madrid to Toledo makes for a wonderful day trip.
Thanks for the video, it was amazing watching it! And Fuji-san looks beautiful as always.
That's a very nice and convenient connection from Tokyo! I remember my really crazy trip when I visited Mt. Fuji (from Odawara via Gotenba, Fujiyoshida, taking both train and bus to Kawaguchiko), it took a lot of more time than direct express from Tokyo but the cost was actually similar. And as my goal was to visit both Narusawa and Fugaku cave, as well as Aokigahara and Fuji Five Lakes, taking buses was really convinient.
Thanks. Will follow your footsteps in late November. Have a pleasant trip to Europe 😊
A trip on Italian's bullet train "Frecciarossa" would be amazing! Especially if from Milano Centrale. one of, if not THE most iconic train station in Italy
Awesome video.
I love Fujiyoshida a lot. The feeling I had on my day of visit was just so incredible. There's a sense of calm and accomplishment that's hard to describe.
Would love to pay a visit to Funinomiya one day. Seen a few videos and I love it too.
The warning cones at 8:14 are absolutely hysterical.
Thanks for sharing
Ah thanks for the beautiful money scenery, as I expected, the scenery of Mount Fuji as the main background of Japan never disappoints, I also saw it mapped on the highway heading to the south of Japan is beautiful scenery he again again in the rest area on the hill next to the highway we can clearly visible the appearance of the mountain of Japanese pride
We travel with you Kuga, beautiful views of your country, thanks.
Love that video.. funny to read some french words printed on a train.
Enjoy your trip to Europe.
Dear Kuga-San! Thank you so much for your videos! I really enjoy “traveling” with you! Mt. Fuji is absolutely stunning! It is one of my travel dreams to visit Japan, and I must admit, your attention to the details have already thought me well, so I am well prepared for my journey. When you will travel to Europe- please have a safe trip and have a wonderful time! Although you did not mention where you will be traveling in Europe, I wish you could visit UK. They have some breathtaking fields and the greenery there is truly magnificent. Best regards from Bay Area, California.
Awesome
Amazing😍
Thanks! This info is very useful! When I travelled to Kawaguchiko in 2016, I had to switch trains from the Chuo Line (between Shinjuku and Otsuki stations) to the Fujikyu Railway Line to Kawaguchiko Station. This direct train launched in Mar 2019 is so much better and convenient!
Had the opportunity to climb/hike Mt. Fuji and may go again in the future. Thanks for letting us know which train to take.
Always like seeing Tachikawa and Hachioji again, I miss those places. You rode through Takao on the express, which is one of my favorite places in the world. Someday I'm going back there.
Beautiful scenery around Mt. Fuji. In Europe, I have always wanted to take the train through the Alps. It is the highest railway in Europe and goes from France through Switzerland and on into Italy. Hope you can make the trip and do a video. Enjoy your vacation!
Wowww nice video.....miss japan...😍😍
Eurotunel its a "must do" in Europe! That means you may consider France and England.
Thanks for the ride of this video! I always enjoy your trips!
Saludos! :)
Enjoyed you video
Wow, that is a great view! I am finding you videos so encouraging as we hope to visit Japan next year.
You might want to consider the Eurostar between London and Paris. We also took the overnight train from Paris to Madrid many years ago. It was winter and the airports and roads were closed, but the train made it through. We have also enjoyed travelling in the Czech Republic and Austria by train- much more relaxing than driving!
I note how you get off trains to watch things... if you do that in the UK the train will leave you behind, so be aware. Trains stop for maybe 20 seconds in the UK in mid stops.
If you make it in Central Europe, then you're gonna enjoy the ÖBB Railjet. It travels from Munich (or maybe even Frankfurt), Germany to Budapest, Hungary. And it stops at some really beautiful towns and cities such as Linz, Vienna, Győr the list goes on. Plus the locomotives were made by the same company as the Keikyu 2100 and 1000 series trains, so they have a similar sound when they depart.
And look into the ÖBB Nightjet, sleeper trains! They look good. Depends where you’re going of course
Nice to see that after seeing you in my country, I watch you come near the rural part of Tokyo where I live ;)
Kuga-san thank you for another fun video! Please take care in Europe!

Super Thanks!
I suggest you a visit to Italy, obviously. Wonderful cities of art, blue sea and lots of little islands to enjoy, mountains with great places to relax and a million things to do and see....
I had to laugh at 11:01 as that is the very same view that I have as my background on my computer except the trees have pink blossom and you can see Fuji-san.
I did find that funny as I didn't see that coming 😅😂🥰
Thank you for the video!
I think switzerland would be a good place to go(I thought about it because of the sister trains, haha).
Cute train
Kuga san thank you for all your videos! You can cross London from west to east by taking the tube, a canal boat, a river boat, a cable car and a light railway. It's a fun day! Also if you go to Italy the rail approach to Venice is beautiful.
The Channel Tunnel from the UK to France. Any train through the Scottish Highlands. Trains along the Scandinavian coastlines. Take any train through Rome or Athens.
Wonderful vdo.
Thank you Kuga San...
