Wires, cords, cables, and gadgets are a pain to organize (and never fun!). In this video, I show you how to easily organize and store all of your cords and cables so you can see them, know what you have, and know where they belong when you put them away.

This lady is awesome. I legit cried tears when I saw the organization, loll. These are life goals!
My dad was a techno freak and now my husband is one with wires and things everywhere. I wish I had seen this earlier. So good!
I found this video incredibly helpful, even five years later. I was able to clear through a ton of old wires and cables, and I reorganized what I had left based on this system (I even bought an identical tackle box via the link). Thanks so much for sharing this, Alejandra!
Thanks Alejandra.....your organising videos have changed my life completely....you're such a blessing doll....God Bless you
This is a subject my husband and I have had issues with for a long time. This is the best system I've seen yet! Thanks so much for sharing this !
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos...Your organizational skills is superb. I struggled a little bit because there are soooooo much stuff in the house!
I think pipe cleaners are better than rubber bands. And they come color coded in craft stores even Wal-Mart. Cute!
I like cable velcro ties that I buy on ebay. The velcro is different than those fuzzy ones - they have holes in one end and you loop through around the cable on one end, and then loop several times around the bundle. Cheap too. These are especially good for cables you use all the time.
Love this! Such a simple solution yet I would have never thought of it myself! Thank you!!
So helpful! Thank you, this is exactly what I needed, because I'm finally getting down to cords and electronics organization and I was actually worried that there's too much stuff and how was I going to organize it.
Damn straight on labeling chargers and AC plug-ins. I can't count how many of these I have lost track of what the heck they go to.
Love your ideas!! Going to start labeling all the cords as they come in the house!! Thanks for all your tips!! You rock!! ~Tammy~
Finally I got some ideas on how to store my DH electronic stuff. He has double what you have here and it just takes over the house. Thanks for sharing
Finally a good video about this topic, well done 👍
Thank you so much for putting links to these items in your video. I've looked for items like that large tackle box to no avail, and now I can finally order some
I love your bookcase in the background...color-coded impressive!
Videos like this make me extremely grateful for modern charging standards.
One of my favorite modern luxuries is opening a new device and immediately throwing all the included cables into a tub full of other unloved cables. I would throw them all out, but throwing out a cable is a surefire way to guarantee you'll need it again soon.
Your bookshelf !!!! Ahh
I love this channel. I LOVE organized people.
Hi Alejandra,
I love all your great tip and ideas for organization!!!!
So creative, your color coded books are so cool
Love those containers...thanks for sharing
Absolutely brilliant -thank you for posting!
I love how you organize you books by color
Love your colorful library :) I never thought of organizing books that way- its very eye catching (and pretty). I guess the color coding is self explanatory, but it would be cool to see how you did yours. Thanks for all the great tips!
Thank you for the captions!!!
Toilet paper rolls (just the brown cardboard part) is another awesome way! You can get an old shoebox or a cheap container and do it that way. You just take the empty roll ( I like to spray some Lysol on it cause you know bathroom germs and air dry them) and you can put your wrapped wires in them label on the outside and put it in the container of your choice. The only expense here would be buying a new container if you wanted too and toilet paper which you buy anyways!
Great idea! And your ring is gorgeous!!!
Great point! I would also say to get a nice gadgets that have usb charging built into them. Really LOVE the Lumiy Lightline and Lightblade LED task lamps they've got USB charging right there and are super super bright!
Wow I need a person like you in my life so much. Can't believe I finally found you. Where have you been all my life!! LOL. Great videos, new subscriber.
Beautiful ring
I was always picked on growing up because I kept all my cords and little things in sandwhich bags. :) clear so I could see what was in them. All my game board pieces are still in them.. Ziplock bags work great:)
Thank you for great organizing tips
Thank you, thank you! This helped me so much!
This was SOOO helpful! Thanks so much!!
your the best thanks to you i organize my stuff in a good way thank you so much dear
Great tips. I never even thought of using rubber bands, such a good idea! I am currently organising my cords with empty toilet rolls. x

I absolutely love the way she organizes. You don
So glad I found your channel! I am on a mission now :)
THIS IS AWESOME AWESOME AWWSOME!!!!!!!!
I really need to do this.. great idea thanks!
So thankful for this channel! I love your voice, I know that sounds strange but I really find it
Thanks. Great video. I prefer Velcro strips for securing the cables.
Nice tips! Thank you a lot!!
very inspiring
this is a really nice idea
We use bulldog clips to bind cables and washi-tape on the cables themselves to label them :)
rubber bands are great for cords and cables and very cheap to get at the dollar store :D
Great ideas...
Alejandra,
I Love love love your videos. You are so inspiring!
Just wondering where you store the tackle boxes?
Thank so much!
Lorie
Brilliant!
I'd be interested to see how you store these boxes.
X Thank you so much for showing me this I love love love it. I’ve had the idea of the rubber bands before but not the attack the tackle box which of course I’m thinking taco the whole time every time you say it I’m thinking taco taco taco box but yeah it’s all nice and organizing everything you have until my husband or someone’s husband are there children go in there and act like they can’t see everything is labeled and make a mess. Thanks again I love the video.
Love this tip! Order the large box right away. The shipping for the small one is about $10 so have to wait till later.
Wow very nice ideas. I would love to see the next step, where do the boxes go after? Thanks a bunch!
Great vid. Glad I just found your channel
Finally a video
love it....
Very helpful... Thanks.
I've used empty toilet paper rolls in place of the rubber bands, works great!
Yes! please do a vid organizing cords you are using computer all other cords like wires around computer, printer etc.
Thank you. Tackle boxes rule for organizing.
Can you do something like this for tech and cords for travelling. How to keep it organised. Love this vid, thank you
Thank you for creating this video. Could you do a video using the same product organizing household batteries?
Hi Alejandra! I recently purchased you power productivity program! Its amazing! Would you do a video for other uses for these art bins? I love them ! Thank you!
Using those brown toilet rolls are what im doing atm. Slot the wires nice and pack into those circular tubes. Makes them so much more manageable. (:
wow, good job...
Thanks Alejandra. I love every video you put together. You have helped us so much. thx. Also, just asking: When is your wedding ? :) I will bet it is the best organized wedding anyone has seen lol.
I found the tackle boxes by Artbin at Jo Ann's fabrics for 50% off with an extra 15% off teacher discount. You have inspired me Alejandra. Going to organize everything before I move and use your ideas in my classroom!
Love it
If you can not afford the tackle boxes, and the label maker, an easy way to organize cords is to use zip lock bags (the ones with the plastic slide tab). That way, the cords never get tangled, you can easily see what is in the bag and you can put them in a clear tote or box of your choice and it only takes seconds to look through the bags. Ziplocs are a god send for organizing things that can tangle.
love it! Thanks for another great idea, I especially liked the boxes not sure if I will be able to find the exact boxes here in the UK. I would like to know which labelling machine you use.
Hey Alejandra! I'd also like to know how you organize light bulbs. Mine are in an ugly shoe box right now and I'd love your take on storing them.
Great idea for the smaller cords and such. I will try that. For my larger cords and cable cord lengths, I use a wine box. It has deep openings and is a great way to repurpose a sturdy box..
Some people think she is too organized? As long as a person isn't OCD I don't think it's a bad thing. It's better than clutter and chaos... it's nice to know where to find something you need and get back to enjoying life. Especially with all those little do-dads and odds n' ends that always seem to disappear when you need them most... that's frustrating because then you might have to spend money on getting more because you can't find one you already have. Being organized has improved my life.
could you do vid. on how you organize time as well? planners etc? Thanks :)
An empty toilet paper roll is great for keeping a cord nicely rolled up by simply putting it though the inside. It's a free organizing tool! (I covered mine with colored duct tape to give them a nicer look and make them more durable).
I am learning (through an article from a professional organizer that my mom sent me) to organize in slots. So Morning, afternoon and evening list. First make a master list. Things that need to be done on a daily basis
-your household chores. From that master list make a daily list of what needs to be done for that day. So in the morning you may want to load dishwasher and clean counters, mop, etc. Then afternoon something else and etc. Add take time for yourself and don't be a workaholic.
Hey Alejandra!
I love your videos, they're very inspiring.
I was wondering, where do you store the boxes themselves? They seem pretty big and kind of awkwardly shaped.
Thanks!
notice that those epson cartridges can dry out over time,I would recomend them to be stored sealed, or purchased as needed
Alejandra, do you ever use empty toilet paper tubes to store cables? say you need to store an extension cord, you wrap it around your hand too, then slide in into the tube. I also use paper towel tubes for longer cords.
They're not technically a tacklebox. They are craft/storage bins. These are made by Art Bin and you can get them at Joanne's, Michaels, Hobby Lobby. They are made really well, so that's all I use for my scrapbooking supplies and tools. They are a bit pricey so you would probably want to use a coupon.
I have sooo many cords that clutter my computer desk and I am a perfectionist and it makes me sooo mad, so this video was very helpful!
They would probably be alright so long as the tape stays on but if its out of the package the tape can more easily dry up or get caught on things and fall off and if that happens you get a leak and air exposure which will dry out the ink and leave a lovely mess to clean up too.
You took the words right out of my mouth, lol. That would be a GREAT video! Also if you could include how to seclude them from small children or your pet...that'd be sprinkles on the cupcake!
could you do a video on a survival kit for emergencies, i think its really importatnt to have those
can you make a video on how to do a productive To Do list? Thanks for your helpful videos :)
could you do a vid on how you organize your books?
Yeah! How to organize messy computer cords.
Very cool! What label maker do you use? I like the simple to read font!
Could you make a laudry room organization?
where did you find the tackle boxes used? And where do you buy labels in bulk? Love your videos
Alejandra, I love these boxes however I have a large cabinet with all my office supplies and a large drawer for cables/wires- in both cases I would reach into the larger space for what I need... It seems having a top on a tackle box would require me taking the whole box out of the larger space to retrieve what I need- kind of cumbersome... Any thoughts? Maybe the top is removable for the drawer location... But, the cabinet I am not so sure... Help.
Where do u buy labels in blulk?! Thanks!!
