Baby Alex catches large Gaula Salmon - with the help of his father Manfred Raguse

Manfred Raguse dreamed on to go and fish with his 8 months old son Alex in a backpack on the Gaula River in Norway but got no permission from Alex’s mother Brigitte during the first two months of the salmon season because she thought it was too dangerous. A short time before the end of the season Manfred asked again and to his surprise Brigitte allowed him to make a few casts with baby Alex joining him. Whilst Terry Oldfield took some pictures, she supervised father and son with the video camera and a large salmon was hooked immediately…
