I have meetings with the advisors before hand explaining the music and why they shouldn't care. This school in particular I have DJd here for 5 years. They dont say a word to me
I assume that the location/venue is quite unfortunate tbh. His setup looks fire af but the room is small and narrow, the ceiling is too low and the carpet floor, ugh...all in all really doesn't have the vibe of a room to have a party in :/
@@DJRickWeb how comes? Just out of interest... I got the mcx8000 and use that for gigs. Those things are stupid. We may think they look classy and so clean but in reality no one notices nor cares. If you can sell them as a way to validate your uplighting price over others more power to you but overall their point less
Question about the foam sticks do you charge the customer for them or do you just provide them as a extra bonus and try to get them back at the end of the night?
Hi Rick, I am a big fan and have started being a Mobile a DJ just a year ago. There is lot to learn from DJs like you and there is long journey to even try to get where you are now. Your videos have been extremely helpful and I have learnt a lot!! I have got one question if you can find some time to answer. When daisy chaining my speakers and subs etc., what is the best way to do it? Do I keep left and right channel outputs from my mixer into separate speakers and subs i.e left goes to left sub and the left top only. Or, should I put both left and right inputs into one sub, then cary both to the top and to to next sub. I saw your video earlier that said whenever we want to increase the volume/bass etc. we need to increase the number of speakers in double. So basically, what I am really asking is if I have the liberty to have these double sets, do I keep left and right channels separate or do I tell all my speakers/subs to play both left and right channels? I know its a long question bro...it will be very kind of you if you can provide your thoughts?
If subs are in the center run a mono input to them, or both left and right if you are using stereo. If the subs are separated left and right say for pole mounting the tops, then run seprate stereo left and right inputs to each. Speakers should always try and be stereo and run seprate left and right inputs.
