What a fkn awesome dude, amazing guitarist & brilliant show. So glad I was there. R.I.P. Brother Wayne
Rip brother Wayne , what a good concert ❤👍
RIP OUT THE JAMS 😊❤
God Bless Wayne Kramer for wanting to keep the spirit of the 5 alive.!!!
I couldn't imagine a better reformation of the mighty MC5.
True that
I can machinegun on drums
Wayne still does that guitar dance on Looking At You that he did at the Tartar Field show from 1970. AMAZING!
There's a particular magic surrounding Wayne. He starts to boogie, and EVERYONE gets affected. It's truly remarkable, and even more beautiful.
Wayne still has it! No doubt! Kick it out Wayne!!
Wayne Kramer looks like hes having a blast and His playing is great.
He's finally having fun. Damn. A lot self-inflicted. But, good.
From my modest opinion and respect for all the players,Wayne Kramer is one of the best hard rock guitar ever existed.
I only saw live one time him playing,he deserves the best,THAT IS A ROCK AND ROLL GUITAR,long live to Wayne Kramer and all of his projects.
God bless his Soul.
ya, check out this :

For me it is,sir.
MC5 greatest live rock band ever. saw em twice in 60's. my 2nd concert. next 35 yrs every concert I went to from humble pie to stones. it was always damn good concert but they ain't no MC5. stay alive with the 5! motherfuckers!
Yes Juan, And he pretty much invented this style of hard rock playing in the mid/late 60's..That's been copied about a trillion times over the last like 50+ years. Along it Ted Nugent, another Detroit kick ass player from the 60's...
One of the best shows I've seen in years! Made me feel 17 again.
What a fantastic band AMAZING
Wow! From a Detroit guy that listened to UncleRuss and was wowed by the MC5 when I first heard them in 7th grade. So cool to see Wayne doing this high quality authentic revival. Stellar job by all!
Quality sound and footage - unfortunately I had to stop watching it as I didn't want it to ruin the experience when I see them in Toronto tomorrow. This is just EPIC!!!!!
..and how was the Toronto show??
Yes, how was it??
It was such a good show the man was never heard from again. Some say he is still ramblin’ ‘round to this very day.
I see that one person with a thumbs down is going to be part of the problem.
@nikto45 no it's MC50 and it's not a problem
@nikto45 once again. It's not MC5 but MC50. It's also called being a musician and making a living playing songs people want to hear.
@nikto45 then you of all people should appreciate a man doing what he loves.
Saw these gents perform a few days ago, easily one of the best gig I've been to this year. Brother Wayne Kramer is an absolute legend, Marcus Durant is the perfect choice for lead vocals. What's best is it seems as they are all having a great time, the energy is incredible.

MC5 rules!!! The grandfathers of punk rock and heavy metal!!!!!
Wayne Kramer is still as wild as he ever was and I like it!
Wayne & the boys just was OVER THE TOP in Grand Rapids, MI. Must see this LIVE to experience the magic! I mean FANTASTIC!!!
Markit, thanks for posting this excellent show, the video and sound quality is stellar and it offers consolation to those of us who are unable to get to a live show. Gracias!
Wayne's still got the moves.
one of the best shows I've seen in years - and Brother Wayne was clearly having the time of his life. the band was stellar. smashed my already high expectations!!!
I saw the MC5 a bunch of times at the Grande, the only thing missing from this is the falsetto on Ramblin Rose.
Wayne Kramer is in his mid-70s. and moves around like that?!?!?!?
Brendan Canty from fugazi on drums that's so awesome
Show of the year.
Wish they would record an album together! Awesome show. Can`t believe that Wayne Kramer is 70 years of age!
Absolutely fabulous. Saw them in Bristol, England, and they absolutely rocked!
Thank you so much for posting this. It’s much appreciated 🕉☯️🙀🐾
Wayne Kramer, 70 years young!
Trop too much!
Wonderful ! Thanks for the upload :) Just watched them on wed in Milan.
Awesome video and sound quality, thanks for uploading!
I saw the 2nd show in Detroit with my 23 year old son and he dug it.
Outstanding ‼️. Fabulous guitar tone! 💕😎🎼🎸
Fantastic!!!
Well the singer had an afro at least.
I was at this incredible show was so cool to see 1 of Phillys own Marcus fronting the band...got to hang out with em after the show & a more formidable buncha fellas as ud ever wanna meet.
Saw this at Cleveland Agora...RIP Brother Wayne
Watching this on video doesn't do this band justice. Still glad to see it , of course. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for shareing
truly awesome
Wow! That was Kick Ass!
Great music!!! Wish I was there
Pete Townshend WISHED he could still do what Wayne Kramer does!
I'm a huge Townsend fan but dude you're right
I don't think Townshend gives this mook a 2nd thought
If that's true, then Pete really has become an elitist snob since the 60s!
Pete still does but that does not take anything away from Wayne. They are some of those who put brill-crap to shame. The current hit-fucks are the problem.
What a fucking dumb comment...WTF are you on? Get of the crack and wise the fuck up...Completely different styles, no comparison, maybe someone whose clueless would compare...Oh dear love, it appears you are indeed fucking clueless...
Mc5 e uma das bandas mais genuínas e poderosas de todos os tempos!
Amazing Wayne Kramer
Wayne, master of Masters!
I would pay good money to be there right now!
I'm ,25 minutes from Philly how'd I miss this show, I didn't even know about it.
Got such goosebumps when I heard him yell kick out the jams
Sinners' Day @ Belgium is waiting ... December 1st 2018 ... Looking forward to see it
Amazing ! ))))
Amazing!!!
Tried to buy one of those Wayne Kramer Strats, but too late..limited edition.
Fantastic gig
Спасибо !!!!
Mr. Thayil, as hard as this is to say, I will say it. There is life for you after Soundgarden. Long live Soundgarden!
very happy to see kim active.
\m/
Thayal is probably the most advanced player up there! Crazy great stuff with Soundgarden! Alternative tunings, killer riffs, one very underrated guitarist, especially if you're a musician! Many people never heard of Soundgarden. But just about any musician, loved them. Glad to see him having fun, making some cash touring again. He'll always play!
@@timturk1899 and wayne isnt? It always make me laugh when people go on about someones technical ability and knowledge of theory like that matters in rocknroll ,3 chords and a cloud of dust has worked just fine.i guess there are people who are happy too listen to kansas journey boston etc,me id rather listen to johnny thunders.....stick the ghost of sonny sharrock up there and others will say the rest are amateurs,id rather have kramer than thayal
It was really awesome to see Kim here, performing again!!
Might be one of the taller singers I have seen in a while..sounds great thou, love Wayne and what he is doing with the anniversary!!!
It's too bad that they cancelled their show that was supposed to happen in New Haven, CT three days prior to this :(. But thanks for posting this.
All hail Wayne Kramer!
FROM THE DEEP PAST WE SALUTE YOU!!! THUNDER IN THE NIGHT FOREVER!!!
Fantastico
So good to see this shit still happenen
Some great things from the past are better left there.
I love MC5.
Ungrateful and hard life, but still this Wayne Kramer playing as one of the best guitarists ever and showing their energy to new generations.
Grandiosi
way good i feel revived!
I saw yesterday in Fillmore Detroit Mc5 Rules!!!
😍!
Amazig guitar work
Saw them last night in SF. Sick show. My right ear is fucked.
My apologies on a previous comment...I had no Idea YOU shot this. Thanks for doing so :O)
WAYNE!
They just played Dallas recently. That American flag guitar that Wayne uses would have been perfect for my favorite band, Paul Revere and the Raiders. Over the years Wayne has signed about eight items for me including the first album, back in the USA and some of his CDs. Listen to his song Poison Ville
Brutal banda !
Classic.
cool
I was there!! Sound was muddy up in the balcony, vocals were buried sometime, but still a ballbuster of a show. Definitely not the seniors' tour.
fuck the 3rd song they did come together. damn that's the shit. the tone. never thought I'd ever heard it again. Mr. Wayne fucking Kramer. living American treasure. get u some people.
kramer is by far the best and that is saying something because they are all good players...
Man, does things change! People get old! I did, too! Am, WAS, lead guitarist too, and I used to emulate Wayne Kramer's sound and playing when I first heard the album. Now at 64, I guess I can still do that! Slow motion! HAHA!
his version of "Borderline" was in slow motion!
Never lost it boys. Wee bit of layin', wee bit of grass, wee few bevvies, wee bit of snow, wee bit of acid, and a hell of a lot of rock n roll = livin' de dream
The best Ramblin Rose i’ve heard is by the Gangwar with Johnny Thunders (Wk and JT)
Those shows were always hit or miss depending on dope availability. My band played with Gang War on an off night.
Who's the singer? Great stuff!
Marcus Durant
Kimmy!!!! 💕💕💕💕
bloody grouse (thats late 70s Aussie for; very good)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...go wayne!
...haven't heard that term in decades! Must be a transTasman thing. Saw MC50 4 days ago in Auckland. Played to a less than half full house, and a sedated, seated audience. Sad.
Rock is the fountain...
good and heavy i loveit come to sweeden rock on rock hard
Of course, not everybody likes this... but then MC5 and Wayne Kramer, in particular, are unique and essentially critical... as are Iggy Pop, Captain Beefheart, Sun Ra, Albert Tyler, The Clash, Frank Zappa, and many more. Let us be part of a solution... still in the wings.
Rob, Fred and Michael would be proud ....

thx
SIN COMENTARIOS. VIVA LA REVOLUCION. Y SE ACABE EL SE ACABO.
Fantastic version of Shakin Street
What a fucking line-up!!! All hail these MOFOS!!!
Wayne Kramer!! :)
Wayne Kramer showin' how it's done! It's a different MC5, for sure, but the sound is authentic and, man, for a 70 years old rocker-- Kramer tears it up!! The naysayers out there wouldn't recognize great rock n roll if it blew it out their ears... which is exactly what this astonishing version of a classic rock band does! My suggestion is quit comparing and analyzing and get up and kick out the jams! And enjoy this blistering great rock music while we still have it!
Peter Frampton looks like Wayne Kramer 😊❤
This is a tribute band!
Damn though
It gets in your brain and drives you to motherfuckin frenzy though
MCFAITHnoMOREzenGUERILLAgarden!!!!
Weird not seeing Kim end the show with an abundance of feedback :(
