- Antioch police officers were expected to testify Friday about racism within their department, but a judge ruled against it following a move by the Contra Costa County District Attorney.

The Officers ARE NOT avoiding anything, they are invoking their rights, which they have every right to do. Police have rights too, not just the criminals, stop demonizing police officers. Laws and the Constitution protect the police just like everybody else.
Except the police are brazenly allowed to violate those constitutions rights of others.
I actually moved out of that city because of "certain politics".
