You're heading into my favourite part of WA and fortunately, it's still mostly accessible and relatively (compared to the east coast) unpopulated. Shark Bay (including FPNP), Steep Point and Dirk Hartog Island is a beautiful area that is well managed and generally respected by its many visitors. An annual parks pass pays for itself in WA and I'd recommend anyone coming here get one. Discounts apply for seniors and RAC members (I'm not affiliated) and the pass pays for itself in 3 visits to the many DPAW managed parks in WA. (not so) Red hot tip for visitors: Let your tyres down! I'm constantly amazed by the number of cars I see unnecessarily bogged on our WA sandy tracks. It also helps keep the tracks in good nick by reducing wombat holes and corrugations. Great episode! Thank you.
Congratulations guys, your videos just keep getting better all the time. The production quality on this one is next level. We are really looking forward to your cinematic CSR video coming out. Thank you so much.
Wifey bought us a Jetboil Genesis last Christmas. We love it! People ask why we need it when we're touring in a truck, but it's just so compact and handy. Awesome videos guys, been binge-watching since subscribing recently.
I love this episode, guys. It brings back so many memories because we were there around October and had been to all the places you guys went and stayed. We camped at Lucky Bay for a few days. We actually got bogged with our caravan the first day we arrived because the sand was so soft and we thought we could camp on the beach 😂. We also droned Hutt Lagoon. It was so beautiful and Kalbarri too ❤.
hi guys, i'm interested to here what you're doing with your parabolic leaves, I've just bought the 700+ pack on terrain tamers recommendation, my mechanic said to go for the lower kit which is the400-700 pack, but terrain tamer talked me into stepping up to more heavier springs, is that what you are on now? were you on the 400-700 set? I hope I've done the right thing.
Hey mate. We had the 500-700 and just went up to 700+ in this video which has helped massively. If you're doing a similar troopy build these are the way to go.
Thanks heaps for prompt reply I feel alot better now, it goes in tomorrow to get new springs fitted the 700+, I haven't done as much as you yet but am pretty well on the limit sitting at 3.2-3.3 permenately. Which is why they suggested the heavier springs, especially if I go a roof conversion later on which leads into GVM upgrade etc..... tell me have you guysfitted a sealed alternator, I'm in 2 minds weather its neaded have heard stories from both sides saying there a must and others saying not needed just wondered your thoughts? @@OverlandTravellers

Yeah they are pricey but for functionality and size it can’t be beaten
@@OverlandTravellers guys with the new stove, what sort of gas bottle does it require to run it? Is it a bayonet hose ? Thanks love the content
WA is the best way! I bet you guys were glad to see the ocean after all the desert on the CSR.
