Thanks guys., great idea, please keep these coming! This sort of info is exactly why I started watching YT caravanning videos in the first place - not so much finding places to visit, more an opportunity to look at the roads (surface, width, condition etc), get a real idea of the size of campgrounds and sites, how busy the area is etc. The info about where stock up on water, groceries and fuel will also be helpful to those not using Wikicamps or Google maps to scout out where services are ahead of time.
What a great idea. You guys should definitely do this every place you, very informative and under appreciated on RUclips. No other channels are doing this. Thanks guys
Ok so we were just at Lucky Bay for 3 nights last week. Been there 3 times and never knew about that track past the shacks! Omg!!! Feel stupid, but thankful that you showed us that. This is a great idea guys. Showing people all the info about sites. Funny cause it seems like an obvious thing, yet, not really done. So thank you. Have been enjoying your content for ages. Love it. Keep it up! X Get Busy Living Adam and Jen on the move x
Thanks guys, we were at Lucky Bay a few days after you left and finally got the confidence to take our 4wd onto the beach. Next time we’ll be taking the van on the beach as well! ❤
Awesome guys! Been looking for vids like this to give me confidence in taking my 21ft off-road van to places "some" say can't be done. I was told you can't get a van on the beach at Lucky Bay WA so I missed out :(
Good video, as you said that beach changes alot over the different months of the year. There will be times you would not get a van around that point due to the beach getting very narrow and super soft. It's a great spot, even better fishing heading along the beach towards Wagoe.
Hey mate just wanted to say thanks for this one. We just spent some time there and followed ur advice and went down that track u mentioned. Definitely the best way to get there with a big van. We have a Titanium as well 20’6. Thanks again mate, very helpful🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
FYI. Lucky Bay has been closed for the past three or more months due to road damage during winter storms. It doesn’t look like being opened again anytime soon.
One of the best and most informative idea for traveling. None of the other channels have done this so well done.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Well done. All the information looking forward to the next chapter 👍
Cheers mate, glad you found it helpful!

Or have your own desalination plant for fresh water. Great idea to show people access routes 😊

Oh, that's sad. It's such a nice spot.
Great vid. Is there reception there?
There is some Telstra reception, not sure about the others.
When towing your van on the beach are you in low range 3rd?
Yeah, 2nd or 3rd, depending on speed and how soft the sand is.
Can you camp not on the beachfront cos I don’t have a 4wd just a motorhome
Yeah, you can. There's a 2wd friendly camping area behind the dunes.
😮james has no seat belt
We were only driving through the campground 👍
No link to WIKI camps :/
Ah, bugger. Completely forgot, cheers. au.wikicamps.co/site/Western+Australia/Campground/Lucky+Bay+Campground/8608
I've also updated the description 👍
Pity that the landscape has been spoilt by those big ugly wind turbines.
I guess. I'd rather look at them than a power station though.
