Subtitles are translated from the english voicelines. Spanish dub although made from the same material it has to make creative decisions to fit time and evoque the same feeling as og line. Both tasks are made separately by different studios.
Same issues also happen with the portuguese translations, specially in bloody ties, where some dialogues are just straight up cut out or not translated in the subtitles. Just being replaced by something in english saying "Audio does not match."
That’s why I played it in English xD. In DL1 the spanish dub and subtitles were superb but in DL2 they relaxed a bit in that aspect. Besides, in DL2 we have Jonah, why would I want to put it in spanish 😎👊
claaaaro en dl1 el idioma español estaba muuuuy bien logrado, creo que es el unico juego que jugué en español ya que todo lo que encuentro lo pongo en ingles pero en dl1 era excelente
its just a differnce of spainsh i think cause maybe its just that the voices are in latin spanish and subtitles in european spanish and that causes the incosistences with the traduction
Yes, finally someone notice this, but subtitles not saying the same thing is very common in movies, video games and everything that is translated. That happens in both Latin and Spain Spanish

Yeah... when they dub the games into Spanish they divide it into "Español latino" and "Castellano or Español de España" the issue is that the subtitles are shared between both spanish
As a half Spanish person I feel that almost always the voice actors in Spanish are better but this time is very different, disappointing in comparison of the English version

growing up in San Diego and knowing many people that watched Spanish Soap Operas I can confirm that the Spanish acting for this game is superb! 😂
