Coach, I spent decades as a owner of two repair shops, the Camry has long been a smart car to own. I had all kinds of trucks and cars in different brands. My Mercedes SL cost about three times as much as a Camry, of course it handled well at higher speeds and was fast, limited at 155 MPH. How often in daily driving does one use high speed handling or top speed very seldom if at all and usually for less than a minute, so all the high horsepower talk is just that by some guys, similar to off road commercials a capability seldom used other than for work. My wife drives a Toyota with all the safety features which as we get older are important. The new Camry dash and headlights I really liked. Thanks for the video.

I just wanted to look at one. Maybe drive it. Never intended to actually buy it. But here we are. I went to a newly acquired dealership. They took $2,455 off the MSRP. No mark ups no add-ons. Nothing. $33.542 ended up at 31.087. I also got $900 over online offers for my civic I traded in. They literally met every expectation. Making it impossible to not go home with that SE. How could they do this to me?
I thought no way are they going to sell me a car. I'm too smart

I bought the LE last week wanting the 16 inch wheels. Love it. It handles really well and not overly floaty. The ride is really quiet and the hybrid engine is pretty much seamless and has more than enough power. I did try the Honda Accord Sport several months ago. The Camry in my experience is a much better ride for less money. Very happy with this car.

This is a substantial rework of the current chassis with more features, technology and solid hybrid powertrain. This a very good but boring and reliable sedan, that's evolved into a more mature, refined and more interesting automobile. I wish that they would have made an xse version with a tubo 3.4 litre V6 and awd, that would have been great and redefine the image of the Camry. Thank you Lauren.

It looks like you were testing this at elevation? We live in the mountains at 5500 ft and as you know a non turbo NA car really loses power when in the mountains and can be downright annoying especially when driving with passengers. Do hybrids suffer this same problem at elevation? Did this camry feel really sluggish trying to climb? I know turbos are best at compensating for higher elevation but your thoughts please. Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong, you stated they insulated the door windows which makes it quieter. I believe just the xle and xse have insulated door windows. The se and le just has the insulated front windshield which the xle and xse also have. So the x's should be a little quieter.

GEEZ I’m paying $30K to $36K for a 4 cylinder engine? WOW that’s ridiculous, 4 cylinder engines are simply not meant to last and for those financing the price over 84 months the car will be dead before it’s paid off. I had a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix V6 for 12 years and ran up 340,000 miles, I now have a 10 year old Nissan Maxima V6 with 210,000 miles. That’ll never happen with that Camry hybrid or not. I’m looking at a 2 year old Camry TRD V6, an Infiniti Q60 Red Sport and a few others, might as well get a V6 engine car while I still can.

Those LED headlights, I'm out. I'm not against LED, just the design and shape. There is no mass illuminated area on the front, making it more difficult to see.
Why the mixed Black and Silver emblems, keep it all one color.
CVT...ugghhh. I'll put my money on a future revision down of the expected MPG.
I could do without all the tech. With so many companies using or selling our personal data, I don't trust any of them to be good stewards of MY info.
At least it's Toyota, I trust they have this all figured out, seems like a solid car otherwise.
