24 years ago, Pat Parelli helped me with my first horse, a thoroughbred off the racetrack. I have grown up with him and his techniques. Thank you Pat!!!

Always amazing to watch you work. And you can see clearly when you and he are connected. It seems to me that a horse and human sharing that kind of connection are almost a whole seperate unit; a unit made from the two different beings but somwthing special all its own. Sounds silly but it's the best way I can describe it.
He sure does have a lot of forward! I wonder what his specialization will be.
Great video, thank you for sharing it. 👍🏻💖

It’s not silly. It’s a friendship made possible by God and Jesus. It’s a connection. Perfectly designed. I’m working with my new mustang, Levi. He’s 4. I’m learning just as much as he is. Very excited about him. I hope he is excited about me lol

Your horsemanship is amazing and I've been trying to learn everything I can from you. I just wanted to let you know that you're not incorrect about the boomerang returning, essentially there were 2 types the none returning and the returning. rather than for killing the returning boomerang was designed lure prey into low-hanging nets by being thrown above birds simulating a predator and forcing birds in a direction towards these nets. the Europeans in the 18th century commercialised the returning boomerang in their trade and thus became the most commonly known. the other type, which there were variations of, the none returning boomerang was the main type of boomerang for killing. they weren't only for hunting but also for warfare, music and as a day-to-day tool.

Agree, you're dealing with a 1200 pound animal. Have to work safe around them.

@@reneehardy5197 it takes a 1000 lb horse to wrangle a 1000 Steer… try cowboying without a horse.. you won’t be bringing much meat to market 🙂
