It’s was really hard for me when I started last year but I pushed through even when my art looked wacky 😂 .
Honestly what worked for me was watching tutorials, speed paint, and just looking at other people drawings that I liked as much as I could and before I knew it my brain was getting wired to try to get those results when ever I drew.
Also don’t feel bad to take a break I know a lot of people say draw everyday as much as possible but in my own opinion doing that’s can lead to burn out fast cause drawing can become a chore to you, and if you take breaks in between it can let your mind rest and not overthink your art piece.
Lastly I know it can feel discouraging to take so long on one drawing but it’s actually good cause it’s better to take your time on something than to rush it for me on average I take 10+ hours on a piece and it always comes out how I envisioned it and something the end result surprises me!
Sorry it’s so long 😅 but I remember thinking I’ll never be good at drawing ( I’m still learning ) but every day I look back at my old art work and I’m surprised at my progress!
I have one last advice 😂 don’t feel bad about other people art looking better than yours and don’t compare theirs to yours but the thing you can do is to compare your old artwork to yours it makes it easier to see your progress than with someone that has years of experience against you.

Don't think too much about it, just start!
You can try to recreate a pencil drawing you have or inspire yourself with another artist's pieces you like, but the important thing is to do it; then you'll know what you need/want to learn in your journey.
If you feel you aren't ready to draw an original piece you can also trace for practice, it does wonders.
