I am so excited to release this video to you all! This is a brand new jig cabinet for my new Armor Tool Pocket Screw Jig. This gives me more storage, a tighter retention on the jig mount, more surface area with measurements and stop block T-tracks. I am super stoked to put this to use and also build another drawer for storing it. There is also an easter egg storage compartment for all my accessories to drill and screw. This way nothing is lost and everything is kept in 1 place! I hope you all enjoy this and thank you for subscribing to my channel.

Hey guys, this is an upgrade to my first cabinet and now has more storage for a brand new jig. Even if you don’t have this jig you can easily alter the height measurements to fit yours. All my plans are in a pdf format and are easy to follow. Thank You!!!
Have you had any alignment issues with pocket hole bores?
I just bought one of these after watching another youtubers video. The first one I received had a fairly prominent canter to the pocket hole sleeve (ie one sides edge was sticking out about 2mm)
The manufacturer immediately shipped a replacement, but the 2nd to arrive also had this same defect about 0.5mm.
Both of these units do not get side by side pocket holes bores to line up.
My assumption is that mould used in production either has a defect or has worn out and not embedding the metal components properly into the plastic/resin mould.
I went to the local HD and popped open a kreg and their unit is flush and level between plastic casing and metal bore sleeve components.
Just wondering if I'm unlucky or if others are experiencing the same
I just checked my sleeves and they are spot on within .003 inches. Maybe it’s possible they have fixed the mold issue and they are newer production models are fixed.

Cool. I may have to do some more test, but just to confirm we are talking about the same area...
Im referring to the front face where the drill bit exits from the metal and starts making contact with the wood. Not the removable sleeve for adjust dual hole spacing.thx again for updating.
tellMeSomething iDontKnow yes, exactly. I measured from the top where the drillbit goes in to the top of the sleeve where the bit exits at the bottom.
@@rhwoodshopnot quite the same as what I was describing. However, i assume if you measured that u would have noticed if the top ridge was protruding. Hard to described, but mine was if you look at the top horizontal edge, from left to right, one side is protruding farther far the plastic housing than the other. So, technically, the metal housing was fully seated and sits at a pitch from left to right.
So diff from what you described, but i would think that it would be noticeable if you had a similar issue. I must just be double unlucky to get two for two.
Thx again
Really nice build Drew! Looks great.
Thank You!!! I’m so glad you liked it.
Nice shop project. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
jeremy Shields so glad you liked it Jeremy and thanks for commenting.
Very nice looking work station Drew.
Thanks so much. It will get some use for sure.
Impressive to say the least.
Man, that's super nice.
Thank you. It’s been a nice addition.
Nice work Buddy!
Thanks Zach! I appreciate that.
@@rhwoodshop you gonna be in ATL this week?
Southern Ginger Workshop Unfortunately, no. I wasn’t invited to be a speaker so unfortunately I cannot afford to stop working and come down there. A lot of my annual business expenses came out the past couple of months so I’m a little strapped in the business funds right now.
@@rhwoodshop totally understand, I'll have a drink for ya! :)
Definitely a nice pocket hole cabinet. Snazzy! Love your table saw setup.
Great idea for what looks like a great tool!
It was a really good upgrade considering what I used to have. Thank You!!!
Very nice, you sir are a true professional.....
Thank You!!! That is an awesome comment. I really appreciate you saying that!
Very Nice!!!
Thank You!!!
Yeah! Shop projects again, I missed them. Happy for you that you have sponsors again.
Patrick Yanez Thank you so much Patrick, yes I will be posting more shop projects because I do have some more plans for my shop!!! The tool partners really help!
Drew can the armor auto jig be used with 1/2 12mm ply? I am only seeing settings for the 3/4 and up!😁🛫
I haven't watched the video yet. I just wanted to tell you how excited I am to see you posting videos again. Boom!
Doug McHone Hey Doug, thanks a lot for dropping me a comment. It’s good to be back and I am enjoying it very much.
This thing is epic! Boom!
Thank You!!! This means a lot.
Pretty cool 💪🏼
Thank You!!! Glad you liked it. I enjoy using it.
Rock-n H Woodshop thanks for building it.
Only question I’ve got, (& even the one thing I don’t like about this tool); does the pocket hole jig come out to be able to use as standalone jig, like on the Kreg K5 (even old K4)? Cuz that would be cool, but mine doesn’t & wondering if “just doesn’t” or I’m doing something wrong, lol
I'm a newbie. My Amor jig is supposed 2 arrive tomorrow. Can't wait. Beautiful cabinet. Hope I'll b able 2 do something that awesome someday.
sure is an elaborate pocket hole cabinet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍 I keep em n one place, a DRAWER 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💪🏻
Great Video! Love what you're doing and keep up the great work.
Thank you so much. I am happy you approve.

great video
Thank you so much. I really appreciate the comment!
Excellent job Drew. But I wouldn't expect anything less from you.
Steve Gronsky hey Steve, long time no see, hope you’re doing well. Thank You!!!
Great video!! I am getting back into woodworking after about a 30+ year hiatus and I am pleased to come across your channel. Looking forward to seeing what else you have out there! Thanks, Jessie
Im trying to figure out how to use a 1/2" birch plywood on my armor jig, but what drill bit would I use? The Kreg product has a mini for smaller screws. Does armor make one. I know about their mIniJig and thats not what Im talking about.
I love your thought process Drew. I have been following your SketchUp series and was thinking that you probably went through all of the planning there first. Great project, I love your color match skills.
Thanks for sharing!
Felix from Nebraska yeah about 90% of my planning went into the sketch up model but there were a couple of things that I changed in the process because I realize that it wasn’t going to work the way I had envisioned. The pocket holes were one of them. I actually had pocket holes going up and down on the sides but I did not realize that I wasn’t going to be able to have access to them after the middle divider was put into place along with the tops. So I had to remove the pocket screws there and the notch out on the middle divider was another change.
Great project Drew! Really like the options you added to the cabinet, all in one place, I like it!!
Thank you Jb! I have been really putting this design together for a while now and finally got to make it. Been excited for this video release.
What jig is this for? It dos not do a lot of good unless you have the jig to put in the cabinet.
The “jig” is the armor tool self adjusting pocket screw jig. The red thing that’s in the cabinet in the video and thumbnail
@@rhwoodshop Very nice. Thank you.
No prob bob 😉
Drew, great video again. For those who are on a tight budget and have the Kreg K4 Armor sales a bracket and an adjustable clamp to convert the K4 with their adjustable clamp. Also, most of the plywood sold at big box stores is 23/32 and 15/32 but I usually use a micrometer to see its actual thickness. As always I really enjoy the videos you produce.
Good point there Michael and thank you very much for sharing such good information with my viewers. I’m sure they would really like to know what they’re in for when they go buy plywood it big box stores. You rock man!
@ichiban2point0 What failed. I have used mine many times and it works okay. Thanks
I love it. Looks amazing and practical too
Very practical and easy to take with you on a job site if you wanted to. Thank You!!! So glad you liked it.
Awesome work Drew, it turned out great! 😍👌🏻👍🏻👊🏻
Thank you so much Fred! I appreciate it a bunch!
Awesome build! Should get a lot of use out of that.
I know the cats like to walk on it. 🤣
I have followed you for quite some time. I absolutely love your SketchUp videos and have commented on them already because they are the best tutorials I have found so far. I was intrigued by this project because it was both practical and has an awesome look. That led me to do more research on the Armor Tool Auto-Jig. I wanted to say thanks for the great idea on the pocket hole cabinet, but moreover , for showing the Auto-Jig. I bought one a few weeks ago and was finally able to do my very first pocket hole project. So far it has turned out great and I love the Auto-Jig. It made things so much easier and I am way more confident now as I start to prepare for building cabinets and workstations in my garage. Please keep the videos coming. Of all the channels I subscribe to, yours is the only one set to receive notifications...#armortool #pocketholes #rocknhwoodshop
Bill you just made my day with this comment. It’s words like these that keep me going and making sure that I produce the best available content that I can. I am so glad that you are getting use out of these videos. I actually just completed one and in the process of uploading it to RUclips. You should see it tomorrow at 9 AM central time. Thank You!!!
Bellissimo lavoro,💯💯👍👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️.shared
You rock thank you so much.
I am a hobbyist woodworker looking to pick up a cordless driver and a impact driver. I’m not necessarily looking for the best since I’m not a professional but I want tools that will have plenty of power when I need it, the batteries are going to last so I’m not constantly running out of charge, and tools that will will last and be dependable. I don’t want to buy cheap tools but don’t need the best. Can you recommend which tools to buy, brand and type of battery? Thanks.
There a new link to this? Website doesn’t exist
BOOOOM!! 💥 💥
What do you think Jake, is it a pretty good upgrade from the ones that we’ve made in the past
Rock-n H Woodshop That thing is a beast.. looks like you thought of everything on this one!! I like the paint job too!! 👍👍
I tried. I’ve been thinking about it for a year.
What cnc machine are you using?
It is a bench top unit called a “piranha”
Wow, The 2.0 version is a so-so good. A + Rating Two Thumbs Way Up. Gotta make a purchase of that Armor pocket hole jig super cool features I think is better than Kreg.
What degree of angle does this drill at and what kind of warranty does it come with ?
it's been almost a year since you posted this video. How is the Armor jig holding up? I am on the fence between this unit and the Kreg kit @ Lowes on clearance
Is there a reason I can’t access the plans thru Safari?
After I experienced a vicious kickback cutting plexiglass, I will never do it again without a riving knife.
This is a great project Drew! Would you recommend Armore more than K5? could you make a video pros y cons of this two pocket hole jigs? Seems like Armor will not allow to remove driver holes to make some fix or repairs. I am going to star with pocket holes. Not sure if I would need this function very often, but wonder which would be the best investent for long time.
Hi I brought this armor pocket hole jig it's nice I love it. Just a question with this jig it shows on the jig 1/2 " no colour for this setting it says use 3/4 screws. I like this jig well made.
Use the 1 inch screws for half inch material. Thank You!!!
On the part using the jig as a stop block, I’m thinking you could have just flipped the door front around on the second cut and it would have cut exactly the same on the other side centering the opening to finish hogging out the middle.. Great video as always Drew.
You are right! you must be exactly centered on the stock though. However, this takes out that guess work. You are really good dude, great catch.
Very flash setup mate, I love it as it has metric measurements, the scale I understand lol 🍻👍
That's a pretty awesome cabinet. How does the Armor system compare to the Kreg in terms of total cost (screws, etc.) and are they compatible if you have a bung of Kreg screws? (I assume yes, other than having to figure out the length)
I believe the armor tool jig is right around $179 but it comes with 350 screws that are all color-coded. If you have a bunch of Kreg screws that is OK because they are still all the same length. Armor Tool has a variety of sizes from 1 inch all the way up to 2 inch in course and fine thread. (1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 2)
One of the big things though that make it very special is it takes all the guesswork out of using a jig like that.
As Drew stated you can use Kreg screws. Also I have found that eBay usually has better prices on Kreg screws than anyone else, especially if you need large quantities.
@@rhwoodshop Excellent, thanks. I have the K4 and it works fine, but having to reach around the material to engage the clamp is a bother with plywood so I'll look at upgrading to this.
rjtumble keep an eye on my Amazon affiliate page and you’ll find some product becoming available this week sometime. I know they are working on a brand new set of stock because they recently ran out. I got word yesterday that they hope to have more in this week

Caught my eye you're using calipers with your Freud Dial-A-Width dado set. This blade set changed my life! I did a small initial setup adjustment and it's been dead on for several years now. I set it to their included fold-out chart and it's perfect every time. Do you find slop or variation with your set? BTW it's great to see you back on the scene! All the best, @HoneyOnWales
I might have to look for that fold out chart.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write me a comment and letting me know that you’re glad to see me back because I am super happy to be back!
@@rhwoodshop I second that! Glad you're back and thanks again for the Sketchup tutorials.
As a godfather you make a great chippy
Wow thank you very much. I haven’t heard the word chippy in a long time. I really appreciate it.
Drew, I don't follow why you had to use the stop block to cut the area for the drawer front under the jig. You already had an accurate make by using that WoodPecker thing-a-ma-jiggy. Can you shed some light here? Thanks.
The woodpecker ruler got me exactly in the center but using the stop blocks on the cross cut sled keeps me from having to do tiny tiny tiny cuts to get it just the right size cutout. It’s just a huge timesaver to get the cut exactly accurate.
2 questions
Where/how do you store it when not in use?
Where does one get “Boom” glue?
Well unfortunately I don’t have any boom glue for sale. 🤣 I do however have stickers you can put on your glue bottle. And I keep the cabinet inside my assembly table over my dovetail jig
I do need to make a new drawer for it because this cabinet is bigger than my older cabinet and the drawer I made prior for that was made for the old cabinet so it’s a little too small
Where do you buy your t-track? I've been struggling to find them at any of my local big box stores.
I got some T track on Amazon. Ali Express also has some.
I have them in my amazon store. www.amazon.com/shop/rhwoodshop

Thanks bro!
dust collection??
It comes with a dust chute that slides in and you can attach a hose to it

What state do you live in? I use to sell Kelly Moore products when I lived in Oregon.
Oklahoma. Just a few minutes south of OKC.
@@rhwoodshop is there a Kelly Moore dealer near you? That is way cool. I am now in southern California, but Kelly Moore is in the bay area.
worldschaos2181 Yep there’s one about 15 minutes south of me
Nice! Can you make me one?
I am contemplating making these for others that want it.
i wish they ship this internationaly :(
Kreg foreman is better than any other pocket system pal!
I think this take away one of the features of this jig which is the fact that is especially designed to be pair with 2x4s
Nice Drew, one more job well done !!! LZACCARO
Thank You!!! I appreciate that
What happened to you?
Has anyone noticed how many commercials that are being crammed down our throat by YoUTube?
Sorry bro! View counts are going down too
I hate it for you, you have a great channel. It seems to me the algorithm that is being used is set up for maximum commercial exposure and fewer viewers so that they do not have to pay you for your content. Common sense says fewer views = less payout to content creators. However if they charge more for adds they can off set the fewer views. This is the same reasoning as carbon credits! 😫🛫
@@TheFalconJetDriver I cast from my phone to my TV and the commercials are far and few between.
I broke down and started paying for the premium package of RUclips 😩 but no mor commercials and that makes me happy.
why are you wearing gloves?
Over time when you cut it close to size then recut to exact size your costing yourself and the cutomer alot of man hours. You must learn to be good enough or make a jig that make your cut perfect evertime cause if every cut is cut twice your losing alot. If you charge the cutomers over 10 1mil dollara for all the work you did you could have made two million dollars. Two cut is the most costly mistake you could ever make in the carpentey business. Trust in yourself a little more guy. You shouldn't have to cut every board twice just to get to the right measurements. "The famous rule measure twice cut once." Not cut measure once cut twice. Your costing yourself so much time and money but cutting twice.
