Kyle runs the reverse version of the west coast offense , heavy use of the run to try and set up the pass and it’s not working. Teams caught on. WCO is short passing dink and dunk to set up the a big run or deep shots down. Andy Reid’s version is truest form of it.
Andy Reid was a part of Mike Holmgren's coaching tree and Mike Holmgren was a part of the West Coast offense under Bill Walsh. Shanahan does not have that kind of connection.
To be fair Kyle pros really doesn't out weigh his cons. No HC is perfect. But now I think Kyle messaging has grown stale and he has taken us about as far as he can take us. Now it is time for new leadership and a new head coaching direction.
The first 2 “pro’s” lose their beneficial status because (1) we still don’t have our 6th Lombardi and (2) shanahan didn’t learn from any of those losses
If they don’t make the playoffs Kyle will have made the playoffs 50% of the time. His resume will start to not look as good and if they don’t make the playoffs in 2025 then I believe he will be let go at that time.
I think his one strength was play design, but now he's out of ideas. I never liked his habits when playcalling. I especially hate his lack of accountability and leadership. He's just too selfish which stunts the team's growth and loses games. I remember an anecdote about Kurt Warner's leadership from Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald was close to an NFL receiving record and begging Kurt feed him the ball more. Kurt shut that with a simple "Do you want to win this game?" Somebody needs to get that through to Kyle. Stop trying to win games in only your style and just try win games even without any style.
He’s made us a 77-60( .562) team. He and Lynch got us out out the doldrums for sure but if a sb win is the target, he isn’t good enough. Dude has completely checked out on the play calling. Does he want to stay through a rebuild? Or do the owners want him too?For me .562 isn’t nearly good enough.A GENIUS DOESN’T END UP WITH A BELOW A .700ish record. GTFO

CON!!!!!!! Given too much power.
100%
Pro: Not going after Aaron Rodgers after seeing his debacle with the Jets
Cons: Not going for Tom Brady

Kyle headed for about 27 less wins at 63 losses, than Bill Walsh.

49ers should really consider Jon Gruden w/ john lynch as GM thats the connection chucky needs back into the NFL
Low key great idea
Cohn zone today will be must watch TV
He need to go. He not a good HC

Like jimmy g say his play sucks
If Kyle were in the AFC would he have made 4 Title Games?
No!! Not even close. He'd be fired long ago.

At this point the cons are outweighing the pros. Should’ve been gone after SB 58 and I’m hoping he’s gone after this season
no pros this season
