I was having a bad day last week and was very anxious and not that hungry. But during my lunch I decided I’d go to McDonald’s and get a happy meal. The childhood joy of what toy I got gave me so much relief and made me feel like I kid again. I know it’s weird but, as a grown adult male, I played with the toy for about 15 minutes in a parking lot in my car. It was pretty therapeutic and made me feel a lot better.
I worked at McDonalds in the 70's as a teenager (before RUclips, Tik Tok,, etc) and you are correct on the McRib. It is a pressed patty made of meat pieces and looks very pale. It is cooked on the grill, then soaks all day in barbeque sauce before it is made into a sandwich. I think they taste good, but not high-quality meat. Same with the chicken nuggets that are not solid pieces of chicken, but pieces pressed together into a small patty then deep fried. Fast food is NOT healthy. LOL.
Just curious, was it fried in anyway? Ive never had one (just never got around to it) but my stomach cant handle greasy/fried foods, so McDonalds has been something I couldnt have for nearly 10 years now.

Just tried the Extra Creamy Redi Whip - in the blue can - for the first time and it is great, highly recommend it - put it on apple pie. The McRib looks like it tastes great, will be trying it soon if available in my area. Thanks again Tom for another relaxing video!
