I think Lopetegui will surprise many viewers how he intends to use JWP within one of his tactical play. During the last couple of preseason games he used him in a particular position and gave him a good run there. Hüllkrug also mentioned him in his WH introduction video. JLo’s trial of Soǔckec didn’t work out for him and that’s why he will be sold although he was an important component of Moyesball. Ings is just unfortunate and probably just doesn’t suit any formation.
I very much doubt Soucek will be sold. If he's not asking for a move, he is an important member of the squad. He brings something that other players don't bring, height, getting in the box, his distribution is perfectly okay, though his pass completion is lower because he is look for more risky passes higher up the pitch that don't always work out. Context with stats is everything.
I'm seriously coming round to the idea of Paqueta playing in a 2 with Alvarez. Soler / Rodriguez would be great back up's / squad rotation for those two.
When he was a young 20s player for Valencia, he was brilliant. Haven’t seen much of him since he’s gone to France. I think he’d be a great addition to our squad, with a chance to prove he belongs in our first team.
I think the only thing we are missing from that 3 in midfield is a Paqueta understudy. We have 2 for defensive midfield in Alvarez and Rodriguez. We have 2 RCM in Soucek and Ward-Prowse. But for LCM we only have Paqueta. We lack some creativity when he’s missing so Soler could be perfect for this, with Irving to go out on loan and free up the space.
If Sullivan has finally handed over the Transfer budget to Tim and JLO and taken a back seat . Us fans cannot believe this window compared to previous seasons . This feels so different especially the players attracted with no European football to offer . They have been sold a project which they must of liked

I've only seen Soler play a couple of times and he looked like one of the best players on the pitch. I haven't seen him enough to know his all round game but he reminds me of Paqueta with the ball. He's pretty technical and dynamic, comfortable travelling with the ball. we really could use someone like that for games where he want to retain possession. I know nothing about his overall ability or levels of consistency. But if it's anything like the player I've seen on a few occasions, he would be exciting to have at West Ham.

Hi Geo, can't say I've kept tabs on Soler or even the La liga too much but from what I've seen on RUclips I think he would be a good addition to playing a similar role to Paqueta, more of an attacking central playmaker. A very experienced player at the Top level both in league and internationals. I would also say with the Exception of Foderingham, Fulkrug and Wan Bissaka, the rest of of our signings can play at least 2 if not 3 different positions which I think is superb, our team has to becas flexible as possible regards to different formations and tactics during a game.

More of a 10 in 4231 or creative box to box in a 433

Most of the blame lies with moyes. His tactics, style and philosophy was responsible for players losing value and the fact he dithered in transfers meant the team aged. You can also add the fact he only wanted to use 14 players all season left those players fatigued.
