Such small and simple pieces of foil do not require the use of water ;) this method is used when applying very large surfaces or complex cut-out templates. Here, all you had to do was place it in the desired place, stabilize it with auxiliary tape on the side and bottom, peel off the fragment from the top, and gradually stick it down, moving down. Still, respect for doing it yourself.
