Shaan, check out the writing routine British writer Anthony Trollope used to write over 40 novels while he worked fulltime as a postal inspector. He would write from 5 am to 8 am every day, and set a goal of 250 words (1 page) every 15 minutes. With a stopwatch!! His baseline was 10 pages a day, no matter what. Then it was off to work for the post office. It took him 10 years to earn enough $$ to pay for all the ink/paper/pens he used!! His autobiography lays it all out.

Mmm I can imagine where you're coming from but I think that's too simplistic. What about doctors, psychologists, your partners (in various contexts)? There's a ton of value in listening to perspectives about yourself from others that see you from a vantage point that isn't inside your own head. Where it goes wrong is having low standards for who you listen to and not having a way to optimise the signal to noise ratio.

Brett Adcock's primary customers post-vettery have been investors. This kind of behavior reminds me of folks like Adam Neuman.
That's why big ideas are easier.
For 95% of entrepreneurs who aren't pitching VCs or Robinhood traders, those fears of failure are natural and should not be ignored.

At some point they discussed a company that did some type of manual labour, like plumbing, and they had built their brand around the color pink.
They talked about how these vans stood out and were memorable because it was a feminine color but used in a "masculine" industry.
Could someone tip me to the name of the company, or the episode where they discussed this? Important for research I am doing around a new venture.
    Thank you

Take 5 minutes to watch a YT video focused on all the wealthy people coming and going from the Monoco hotel and Casino. It's full of Rolls, Lambos and Ferraris. But do you want to know who I think is the wealthiest guy you'll see. It's the guy driving a 1960's Mercedes or Rolls convertible in mint condition. He likely has a garage full of Ferraris, Lambos, and Porsches to the point of boredom so when he wants to cruise over to the casino he does so in a beautiful classic.
