Hello There, I'm having the same sound. I did not drive for one month and battery was dead. I jumped, lights and radio in on, but when i start it, it just makes the same exact noise in my 2011 Jetta. So was it only battery that I should replace. Would appreciate your reply in detail, Thank You !
all the clicking is due to the low battery it isn't cranking btw. the brake fault along with the abs esp the airbag and the power steering lights are again due to low battery everything shuts down
I had the same problem and when you go under the dash you will see there is a red wire with a white tracer which goes to a relay then it goes back down to the floor under neath the carpet where you will find a box that has lost of wires in it will be relays and if water got to it there will be corrosion that is causing the problem like I have and it make the car ECM throw a bunch of codes like it's a ground problem but not
@Tonygee160 Will this problem can cause shut off the car while I’m driving. I’m having the same issue with my passat 2007. & the car shut down on highway while I was driving. Thanks for the help
Doesn't sound to me like it's cranking. By the sound of it and the way your dash lights go off when you try to start it seems that your battery is weak
It’s likely because if you crank it too many times, the battery starts to die, so there becomes a secondary problem. Also it’s a later model, so it cranks differently. Perhaps push to start.
I’m getting same issue with my car, same noise. Car shut down when I was driving on highway. After that battery completely dead. I put the battery from my gti (same battery’s ) but same noise as on the video. & the car don’t start
I think I got the right TY channel. Joseph, not sure how to contact you, but why did you remove the 2 tasks for C726 from WGU? A lot of people from Reddit have wondered why and if you still have them.
Some dumb ass posted about it on the course chatter and WGU made him take it down.... idk someone would be so stupid and bost about it, @Joseph Butler had an amazing resource
@@JosephButler1996 that's a crock of shit if you ask me. I've seen cohorts and worked with a CI that effectively gave me the answers to a PA. So....anyways I did watch it and it gave me enough to get started and finish
Same problem so I brought it to AutoZone they changed out the battery and now it starts and dies right away so they have towed it to their place and they said it's a fuse because you need to restart the cars computer when you change out the battery of a German car but they've had the car all day they will have it overnight and they haven't found a fuse to replace so I have no idea
im having that same issue with my 06 passat 3.6 the dash lights flicker fast and you can hear the relay clicking rapidly. i check the battery at valvoline and the battery is still in the green zone. im going to guess the solenoid in the starter is bad and going out. or i would try getting a jump from someone and see if that solves the issue.
There good if the owner does good maintenance people get the wrong perception on a nice car just because people treat it like shit don’t do a simple oil change or never flush any fluids never replacing anything just running the car to the ground
Friend I have a problem with my volkswagen passat 2009 4-cylinder automatic engine it is practically dead I give it the key and it does nothing they already checked it several times and they can't find the fault I repaired the vehicle's computer and nothing I've still had my car for two years without finding one solution
Joseph Butler so it was the battery? I literally just got the car today went to start it to check everything out and this happened and it won’t start...

You are right, the core was bad. Took it to O'Reilly and the ran a test. Replaced the battery, worked.
Joseph Butler my golf gt tdi is making the same noise but I tried charging the battery and starting but still no luck any advice

your batteries dead
Shift the gear to neutral then start the car , it will start, experience that problem before.
Trued but not working
Do the same thing I did with the Volkswagen I work on. A gas can and match. Fixes mine Everytime
battery needs replaceing
What was the issue man fuel pump, injectors?
Check the starter motor
Your battery probably needs replacing. The engine isn't cranking at all its just the battery making nosies...

Yes its defenately the battery.
Bad ground. VW’s are notorious for bad wiring in general. But this sounds like a ground.
It's just the battery!!!!!

@@hafizhanif9185 did you fix it? Was it the battery, maybe alternator not charges enough and that the battery goes flat

Battery or starter problem
Start reley.
The battery
TO me looks like a start ok
Starter relay, under steering wheel.I have same problem
It's a relay square fuze
You have to unscrew about 12 t20t25 screws to get to it on the left of steering wheel inside. Its not in VW manual there assholes
