Beekeeping: Introducing the Queen Bee to the Hive

My friend David released the Queen to the new hive. We thought the exit hole was a sugar plug, but found out it was a cork. Later that day, the bees were flying in and out of the hive and seemingly off to a good start. They went through two quarts of sugar water in two days.
