@@tommykorn7385 the reason it’s less than the US spec Jetta is because it’s made and sourced there in China and I guess the currency makes for lower cost correct me if I am wrong. The Jetta, Taos, and Tiguan here in the US comes over from Mexico so that can affect the price. The same thing with the Arteon and the MK8 GTI and Golf R for us is shipped from Germany and no longer from Mexico and the cost of those cars have increased because of that. The U.S spec Arteon only comes with the EA888 that comes from the Golf R and can be had with or without AWD. I hope to get one before they discontinue it in 2024

I have been driving Jetta and I am happy with mechanics and the interior quality. However, I discovered it has a rust issue on the lower part of side fenders. It"s bad. I do not like rust. It is a known issue: poor design. I hope that someone from VW management read this message and do something about. Please deal with the known rust issue that affects the lower part of side fenders.
