I was so afraid Bob Netflix was going to punish us after how rotted we all acted after their Live episode. But TrixieAndKatya came THROUGH. My ribs hurt from laughing. Japanese toilet? Wicker basket? All the Italian being spoken. THESE LOOKS. And the ending is such raw, pure, uncut chaos that I can't believe they let us see behind the curtain falling. That was everything. New favorite episode.

Every time I get an alert saying a new episode has been posted, I will literally, LITERALLY drop whatever I am doing, no matter where I am, so I can watch immediately. I LOVE these queens, and this Netflick viewing party is the perfect platform for these gals to do what they do best; just riff off of each other, kiki the house down, and invite us in to laugh our asses off along with them!

Girls, thank you for watching this trash for us. Even from those little snippets, it's clear that the writer's strike was in full effect. Feels like those tragic HR cardboard and poster paint Workplace Harassment videos: "When is Funny Actually Wrong?"
Filming for this was completed in November 2022, and obviously the writing long before that.
Looking at the head writers for the episodes, there were some really good ones including Michelle herself, though while the strike itself hadn't yet started while the show was being developed, I imagine where this show fails is because of exactly what the strike was about - the pay, time, resources etc that the writers have.
It's a real shame considering the skill and talent of both the writers and cast, and that a lot of the concepts and lines are actually good. Still love Michelle, I'm sure her next season or show will be much better 🧡
The part when Katya's full on breathing and clutching Trixie's hand like a woman in labor as Mavis had that interaction with her rommate sent me 😂
That and the ending where they scream and freak out over the set falling apart and with Trixie's wig being snatched and Katya saying, "JENNIFER ITS A NIGHTMARE! JENNIFER ITS A NIGHTMARE! A NIGHTMARE WE CAN EVER WAKE UP FROM! JENNIFEEERRRRR!" 😂😂🎉🎉
I love that they're just embracing the Barbenheimer aesthetic. Katya gets to wear black and grey and Trixie gets to wear Pink lol it's perfect for them, more like they were already doing it but now we have a name for it.
