Amazing episode! Sooo many homages to Home Improvement and wow I never knew about the Binford tool box. Although I thought Randy made this cameo before he played that other character on the show
Fun Fact: When JTT Left Home Improvement for college, Tim Allen was really pissed and felt betrayed. Cause that was kinda a sign the show was gonna slowly end. They didn't speak for a very long time and then Tim Allen said in a interview, he wished he gave JTT his blessing to college cause JTT wouldn't speak to Tim Allen again. They secretly arranged for JTT to come back and they did'n't tell him. This was literally the expression Tim Allen got when he saw JTT. You can see from Tim Allen's face how happy he was.
It wasn't the college itself that upset Tim Allen. JTT left Home Improvement to focus on his studies, and Tim Allen was fine with that. However, JTT was acting in other projects during that time, and that's what set Tim Allen off.
Don’t know where you got your facts from but I am guessing you haven’t seen this show. This isn’t JTT’s first appearance on LMS. He plays another character as a successful restaurant owner in S2, long before this one. Tim and JTT have a few scenes together too. So, this definitely wasn’t Tim meeting him for the first time since HI.
Iirc, there was a rumor that JTT during the home improvement run really wanted to come out, but Tim advised him not to, mainly because Hollywood of now was not the Hollywood of the late 90's. JTT was apparently extremely resentful to Tim's advice and came out anyway.... which, in fact, did ruin his stardom at the time.
@hij ironically her and Steve were supposed to portray your typical 80s conservative yuppie couple. Once she spent time with the Bundy’s and then married Jefferson, she changed.
Ugh, MWC died 6 years after it should have. Only bring it back with Steve. HI had a good run but again, was getting tired at the end. Let these show rest in peace.

Hi, I love this show still today. I watch it every late afternoon on LAFF TV in Detroit, MI area. ( I also love watching Last Man Standing. ) I never miss an episode of Home Improvement no matter how many times I have seen them. It's Aug. 10, 2022 that I'm writing this to you. I just found this Channel n glad I did. I love the entire Cast including our dear ones in Heaven. These shows are Classic. I love them so much n the whole cast will always be in my heart forever wherever they may be. Thank you for creating such a Master Piece of great TV. Thank you so much for making me laugh every evening. I truly appreciate it. God Bless you all.
Patricia Richardson wasn’t the original choice to play Tim’s wife on “Home Improvement,” Frances Fisher(Rose’s mother on “Titanic”) was. But during rehearsals, Tim Allen said that there was no chemistry between him and her so she was replaced with Patricia Richardson before any episodes were made.
I wouldn't necessarily want another Home Improvement, like the other types of shows we've gotten, but a reunion show with everyone that's still around would be fun to watch.
I hate those reunion shows, we want to see the cast in their original roles and see where the characters would be today, not being interviewed for an hour. The reason these reboots haven’t worked is because they always try to make them corny or relatable to a younger audience or kid friendly, instead of just letting it be about a family that’s aging, adult children, dealing with adult topics.
Lol. That was a great way to end the show of LMS. Home Inprovement Reunion. With Tim Allen & Patricia Richardson. Just like the other show Kevin James & Leah Remini. Great to see the forner cast of 1 show. Entering a 2nd show.
Mike later did meet Tim "The Toolman" Taylor (Tim Allen in a double role), claiming that Binford Tools made great stuff. Now I wonder how Tim would've reacted to meeting Helen Potts or her son, or Mike's one-time architect (played by Richard Karn), or his daughter's boss played by JTT.

What character was Patricia playing in this episode?
@marialeach8960 she's still Jill. I think they said Tim had an accident or something and that's why he's not around
@@marialeach8960 She plays "Helen Potts" and there are a lot of references to her last husband, who meets the description of Tim the Tool Man Taylor.
