- Aliens: Armageddon (2014) Arcade playthrough at 4K resolution. The game is internally rendering at 4k. It looks quite good for an 8 year old game.
This game shares a lot of similarity with Terminator Salvation from 2010. Similar mechanics of shoot guns and throw grenades. The enemy sets are also very similar to TS, not that there's anything wrong with that. It's still a great game to play.
Also at the very last scene, if you miss the 5 target points, the humans will die and you play through the last scene again, this time instead of 5 targets in the very last part, there will only be 3. I left it in the video just for you to see. If you want to get it the first time, it's very difficult to do it with a mouse as the control. You need to be really quick.

Bro this was my FAVORITE arcade game to play when I was younger. Whenever I went to Dave n busters, I would keep playing this game for about an hour lmao
It's still an awesome game to play, this and Terminator Salvation are great gun games.
Same man. This is the same scenario with me at Main Event. 8:37 - 8:44 was the main reason I always wanted to play this game, and I wouldn't mind a trip down memory lane myself...
I agree, this one was a lot of fun. Sadly, I didn't get to play it much due to the fact that not a lot of the arcade restaurants in my town didn't have it available.
Salvation was fantastic, tho. I played the hell outta that.

The one thing I like about this game
if you don't shoot other soldier, they are actually holding some aliens off screen
How? most of this Arcade game, when there NPC shooting in the background. They are just.. background noise. Nothing.
@@Altimismust be less enemy spawn I suppose or increase chance it get shot dead before reaching you I think that a thing in there?
@@Altimisso whenever there is npc on your screen you have an option to help them shooting down aliens that are attacking them or let them die,still have to kill the alien tho,after that they will canonically kill some of the aliens for you or decrease the aliens that will spawn
I used to play this at my local Cinema’s Arcade couldn’t get past the second phase cuz i would always be low on HP there so never knew the ending. Thanks for uploading it i really appreciate it ❤

In Alien resurrection, the last scene of the movie is that the earth has become a ruined place, maybe the game was set in this setting
@manhviet95 From what i roughly gather from expanded matierials on the background. After 3, some nutjob released a xenomorph on earth, eventually resulting in a total conqueting of the planet. Humanity had to dip out into orbit and then nuke what a mess their was(which states that 98 percent was destroyed) in order to eliminate them all. This is after someone thought making modified xenos to fight eachother would solve the problem and not need the nuke. This just made the situation all the worse. And as a result after this, most of the work from then to 4(about 200 years afterward from this incident) barely made earth livable again.

I played this game for the first time yesterday and I can say this is my favourite arcade game so far, and my high score was 70k, I can't wait to play it again!
Played this once with my Older brother, both of us were near 30. Dad watched us, gotta feeling we probably morphed back Into our 8 and 12 year old selves. Great memory.
I have to find a place somewhere in the US that still has this game. Never played it but honestly it just looks so appealing. This is kinda what I wish all modern video games were. Classic style of gameplay, pure action, but with modernish graphics

How can the shotgun and grenade launcher have two shots only?
It was bugged at the time the game came out. It's been fixed now. It's bugged in this video as it was recorded when it first came out. That's why the guns empty their ammo so fast as it was dumping most of the shots in a single trigger press.

1) it's the good ending because humanity survives, you heroically sacrifice yourself for the rest of humanity.
2) exactly what they sound like, androids built for combat. Bishop from Aliens is not made for combat.
I think the giant orange xenomorph was a king
Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the case as well seeing as how there's a winged queen and originally the king alien fought the Queen in the comics

Probably, it's not uncommon for some games to use same sound effects, especially from same publisher.

@@YamatoNaoe You need to have your own copy of the game. TP doesn't include games... when you get it, the exe file is just called "game" in the root of the aa folder
OK I feel like I need an explanation for that shotgun. Usually the player seems to be needing to reload after two shots but a little later it's firing over 10 shots without reloading. And I'm going by how full the ammo bar is. Is this just some bug to do with spamming reload while firing? Because the ammo bar was stopping at places it usually doesn't with the shotgun.
It was a bug, it got fixed but I recorded this when it first came out.
@@arcadestuff So is it actually meant to be 2 shots per reload in this game? Because that is COMPLETE insanity for a pump action military shotgun.
Or was it meant to be more like when you didn't need to reload after 2 shots?
