I worked in an arcade as a kid and I used to play this all the time whenever I could get some free time. I loved this game so much, thanks for the nostalgia trip man.
That's what it's all about! Glad you got a trip out of it! You can play it on Teknoparrot but you have to be Patreon for now, few months and it should be free for all.
I remember playing this after I saw Terminator Salvation with my friends in high school. I was having a rough day and they surprised me by taking me to the movie and the arcade. We went to the local arcade after the movie and we saw this. We just hopped in and started playing. Everyone just jumped in if we ran out of quarters while someone went off to get more. We pretty much beat it that afternoon.
This is definitely one of the best Terminator games, that's for sure! T2 arcade is good in a nostalgic way. I feel like there's still an opportunity for an adventure game of sorts in the Terminator world.
Hell yeah! The first Terminator game on the Sega Genesis also wasn't half bad either. That being even if it only took 15 minutes or so to beat once you knew what to do with that being said though! XD
What a great game based on the movie. And for that. Movies and games did great over the years. Such as Halo Reach, Avatar, Splinter cell conviction, Zathura, Ratchet and clank, Four Brothers, Spec Ops the line, Hoodwinked, Def Jam Fight for NY and the rest. Yes I know it sounds stupid but I always wanted to see a cross over movie when movie characters interact with game characters. What if Whacked meets The Cat in the Hat! I would love to see Cat in a game show full of wacky characters and places.
Terminator Salvation was always my favorite arcade game as a kid, I remember playing co-op with all my friends and cousins, good times :) thank you for uploading gameplay! it is very nostalgic to relive these memories.
I remember this game introducing me to the Terminator franchise. Those Endoskeletons used to scare the shit outta me when I was younger, especially the T-600 on the title screen looking straight at the screen. It’s like he knew I was scared of him… now many years later after seeing the first movie, I know I’m not the only one that was scared of these metallic bastards, but nowadays to me they’re just pieces of junk.
This was also my true introduction to the franchise as well, and before I even knew anything about the lore of Skynet and the Terminators themselves, me and my little bro invented a head canon that the Terminators were built using human remains, mainly the skulls that scattered the wasteland. Those were interesting times for sure!
@@fanboyofabandonedthings481 That could be a cool concept for a potential 3rd Terminator reboot. Instead of them being built by rogue AI they’re from dead human remains.
@@fanboyofabandonedthings481 My dad kept trying to calm me down but I’d always run away from the T-600 and played a different arcade game if there was one.

I remember taking a class field trip to Dave & Busters in 8th grade for our final year and I absolutely killed this machine. I remember looking around at one point between rounds and seeing my entire class just gathered around the cabinet to watch me play. They were all just trying to see how far I could get, and I eventually beat the whole campaign. And let me tell you, I was taking it way too seriously. I was going for as many kills as possible, I was practicing proper firearm safety when allied characters were on screen, I was optimizing my reloads and ammo consumption, it was hilarious. And then at one point about halfway through, this one guy I rarely ever spoke to picked up the other gun and legit said “I got your back, let’s do this.” and we beat the game together. Seriously, one of the coolest moments ever as a kid💀 Then I soloed Time Crisis 3 and The Walking Dead game, neither of which I had ever played in my life. That was a fun day 😂
It also had mounted guns on different, smaller cabinets too. I can't to finally play this amazing gem at home once it's finally unlocked from Patreon on my home Arcade One system at last! That along with Aliens: Armageddon for that matter also!
When I was in kindergarten my dad would take me to Chuck E. Cheese and this was my go to game whenever the mascot came out and gave everyone tickets I’d ignore it and just continue playing I beat every level with my dad
I don't remember seeing this out and about but in 2010 all the arcades around me were gone so this was probably hard to find. I love to have a bunch of the light gun games at home.
Love this game, but it’s so weird seeing it at 60 fps. Almost all the machines that have it around me haven’t aged well so they’re always at like 20 fps lol. Makes the dark sections unbearable to do
I imagine they'd be using flechette shells, which are *better* at shredding through armor instead of pellets. They're not super good at blasting apart solid metal, but they're just *better.*
Now Terminator is broken in Ramayana, and it won't be repaired because they don't care about customers. Previously it could be played but only one player was right and the reload was broken.
